Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui

We chose Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui as the venue for our very special occasion—our wedding—and we couldn’t be happier! The hotel is amazing, with lush greenery, a spacious layout, and an incredible atmosphere. Everyone on the staff, from our wedding assistant Miley and organizer Ann to the general manager Manuel, went the extra mile to make this experience truly special for us. Plus, every staff member was so friendly and always ready to help. It truly felt magical. We will definitely return for one of our anniversaries and want to express our heartfelt thanks to the entire Garrya team for everything! :)

There are lots of resorts on Samui, most of which are fairly nearby to each other. Garrya stands out in that it is more secluded, offering what feels like a private jungle island experience but with extremely easy access to the rest of the island should you choose to explore. We stayed in November for our honeymoon and the service here was truly incredible. We chose to do the airport transport which was seamless. They met and welcomed us upon arrival, and decorated our bed with flower petals as we had told them it was our honeymoon! The food at the resort is also quite delicious (just expensive, but that's the norm at resorts). Room service is quick, and every single staff at the resort acts with care and with a smile. They even go around to the units mid-day offering little complimentary (and yummy) snacks. Unfortunately it rained a bunch when we were there, but the pools were very nice and tranquil when we did get to use them. And you can ask for golf cart transfer from the main building to your room if your room is far away!! The best part is that, despite the rain, it felt like a tranquil and luxurious jungle escape, given the location and overall vibe of the resort. I don't think you'd get the same sense at other resorts. I'd love to come back one day when it's sunnier!

We were very lucky to book that fantastic resort in Koh Samui.|This is such a wonderful and peaceful place with a private beach in the north of the island. All the different rooms and villas are surrounded by lush vegetation, while the only perceptible noise is the waves and the birds singing all over the place.|A perfect way for relaxing on the beach, by the pool, or at the different excellent restaurants. While there are many nice restaurants on the island, we mainly had all of our meals at the hotel as the kitchen was very good to excellent. Don’t miss the Tuesday buffet barbecue; you will not be disappointed. |Spa treatments are so enjoyable; I was literally falling asleep.|There are so many more nice things to say about Garrya.||The highlight of that resort is the friendliness of all the employees as well as the kindness of the managers, Mark and Manuel, who are always ready for a friendly chat and hard working with their staff. ||Thank you for a great relaxing holiday.

Stayed at Garrya Tongsai Bay in February for 4 nights in the hillside pool suite with a stunning ocean view. Loved the private beach as it was quite secluded and seemed only accessible by hotel guests. Just to note- the sand on this side of the island is rocky/pebbles and can hurt to walk on. The staff really knows how to provide great service and everyone working there was very helpful and delightful. We had a situation in our room the last night before checking out, but the staff quickly came in and took care of the issue and made things right prior to us checking out which we really appreciated.

As a first-time visitor to Ko Samui, I was blown away by the incredible hospitality of the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and accommodating, and it felt like each team member remembered my name, making my solo trip feel warm and welcoming. My room was generously sized—definitely oversized for just one person! It could have easily accommodated four guests, which added to the overall comfort of my stay. The resort boasts a stunning private beach right next to the pool and restaurant, creating a picturesque setting that felt straight out of a movie. Listening to the waves while relaxing by the beach was simply magical. The atmosphere is primarily adult-oriented, with not many children around, making it a perfect retreat for couples. I can absolutely envision returning here with a partner, and I even think it would make for a beautiful wedding location! Overall, I highly recommend Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui for anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious getaway. I can't wait to return! 🤞🏾🪽

This resort has everything that one could wish for. Swimming pool, beach and gym to name but a few.|The property and gardens are very well maintained and are extremely clean and tidy.|All meals were well prepared and served quickly and efficiently. Breakfast is unbelievable, the selection of hot and cold foods, fruit and drinks just seems endless. The evening Beach BBQ is a "must do" Well prepared and tasty meat and fish dishes with a big selection of Thai and western cuisine.|The resort staff are incredible, friendly, helpful and very professional, nothing is too much trouble. All staff are readily available and approachable. The attentiveness of the staff at meal times is outstanding including the hotel manager (Mark) and the General Manager (Manuel).

Situated on a stunning private beach and hillside. Accommodation set very privately with amazing views. Team were super super friendly and caring, anticipating our every need, striking a perfect balance. Great choice of restaurants each with amazing food. Special mentions to Mr M for yoga / meditation lessons and to Mr Ae for buggy lifts. Huge thanks to all - we had an amazing time 🙏

Understated luxury in a peaceful, quiet setting defines the experience at this wonderful resort. The hotel rooms are built into a jungle hillside and look out onto a private beach and scenic bay. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing. This is not a place for people with mobility problems as there are many stairs to navigate. But this is an extraordinary place.
