My husband and I recently stayed at Garrya Tongsai Bay and had an absolutely unforgettable experience. We chose a beachfront suite, which was incredibly spacious and felt more like a private apartment than a hotel room. The highlight was the large covered terrace with comfortable loungers overlooking the serene bay — the perfect place to relax and take in the breathtaking views. The suite was modern, beautifully furnished, and offered every comfort we could ask for. The entire property is set in a stunning, expansive estate tucked into its own secluded bay, which gives the resort a truly peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. The beachfront pool was a lovely spot to unwind, and the fitness center was well-equipped for our workouts. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel’s restaurants — the food was fresh and delicious, and each meal felt special. Breakfast was a particular highlight, especially the fresh fruit station where they made custom smoothies – such a refreshing way to start the day! What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional staff. Every single team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. Their thoughtful service made a lasting impression. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the resort for our honeymoon. When we entered the resort, the welcoming ritual was very sweet and the activities that the resort could offer are more than enough during our 5-night stay. ||We really appreciate the hospitality from all the staff and we would like to say a special thank you to the queen of fruit, Pu, as we enjoyed the fruit craving class very much! I also got the chance to have my very first Muay Thai class at the resort and the instructor Keng is very professional and introduced a lot of different ways of fighting, which was quite an unforgettable experience! ||Furthermore, the spa treatments that we had at the resort are beyond amazing and the food at all the restaurants within the resort are just delicious.||Speaking of the seafront pool villa that we stayed in, the view is phenomenal and we really appreciate the house keeper (apology for not being able to spell her name). She is so nice and always greet us with a nice smile and she ensures our room is very clean and tidy every single day with special snacks and drink. ||This is definitely the best vacation I ever had so far and the memories of Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui will stay with us forever.

You can tell they truly take pride in what they do, it made our stay feel extra special.||And the brunch? I’m still thinking about it weeks later. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From tropical fruits and baked goods to Thai favorites and made-to-order dishes, there was something for everyone. Hands down one of the best brunch spreads I’ve ever had.||We also visited the spa, which was such a dreamy, luxury experience. The space was peaceful and the treatments were top-tier - exactly what you want when you’re on vacation.||If you’re heading to Koh Samui, I can’t recommend Garrya Tongsai Bay enough. It’s far beyond worth the price and will leave you feeling relaxed, pampered, and already planning your next visit.

It’s tucked away in its own quiet bay, surrounded by green hills and calm water — and even when the resort was fully booked, it never felt busy. No loud music, no crowds. Just peace.||We stayed in one of the Pool Villas (507), and it was a dream: private pool, outdoor bathtub with a sea view, a little gazebo for morning coffees or late-night chats. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed — plus a few thoughtful extras (like turndown snacks and mosquito spray at dinner… lifesaver).||The service was next level. Everyone we met was kind, attentive, and just on it. Whether it was helping us with a spider (yep, we called reception and they were at our door in 5 minutes), making sure our drinks were never empty, or surprising us with a full day room on our last day so we could shower before our late flight — the staff made everything easy and stress-free.||Food? Excellent. Three restaurants, all different vibes. Our favourites were EVOL (wellbeing-focused but still delicious) and the beach bar during happy hour. We also loved the live music and fire shows in the evenings — enough to make it feel special without being overwhelming.||Final verdict: If you’re looking for somewhere calm, beautiful, and genuinely welcoming — this is your place.|We left feeling like new people. I just had an incredible eight-night stay at the Garrya Tonsai in Koh Samui with my wife and three children, I can say this was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience I've ever had, and it has truly raised the bar in every way.|From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff customer obsession was unmatched. They anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to ensure our trip was nothing short of perfect. Every staff member knew us by name. Their dedication and attentiveness made us feel valued and genuinely made our trip special.|The facility itself is fantastic, offering a relaxed environment with private beach that was never too busy and always had sun bed available on the beach and pools. Every aspect of the resort is designed to provide comfort making it an ideal retreat for families.||We're already planning our return.

We arrived early, to be greeted by friendly and accommodating staff, who were happy to assist us settling in to the resort while we waited for our unit.|Every meal, from the extensive cuisine on the daily changing breakfast buffet, with choices of fresh juice at the station managed by Pu, a vivacious lady who has been on the resort team for over 30 years, to a la carte in both restaurants, was superb. The menu has extensive pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan options. We were able to take advantage of the Accor membership discount for food and drinks. It has a well equipped gym, and a variety of yoga - they supply individual gear sets - and other exercise classes. The main pool is fabulous, with comfy beach chairs, towels laid out, refilled water and the bar close by. The beach is clean and warm. Best to wear crocs or water shoes to navigate the little stones on the way across the sand! There is an adults only infinity pool which is alluring and quiet.|The 8lements spa was Amazebubbles. My husband has never wanted more than a massage, he’s now a convert to salt scrubs and facials.|We hope to make this place our piece of paradise annually!|Managed by Mark - been there over 20 years - and Manuel - the team is like a big family. And they treat guests like they are part of it.

We have just left after 8 nights with my husband and three children aged 17, 14 and 8. I can honestly say hands down the most attentive staff in any hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived until when we left today, the staff have done so much for us. They got to know our kids names and really made everything so enjoyable for us. Especially Fon, she was just magical to our daughter. |The facilities were very much 5 star. The food was amazing, breakfast catered for everyone. The beach was so clean and so many complimentary activities to do. They even hosted a movie night on the beach for the kids one evening. I am already planning on returning. If you’re on the fence about booking, I really hope this review convinces you to go. You will not regret it.
