Resort is on the beach, which is mostly empty, no crowds. We were on the 9th floor with amazing views. Rooms were very large and well appointed. The resort has 8 pools, several restaurants and truly outstanding service by every employee you encounter at the resort. The breakfast buffet was large with omelet stations and varied daily. The Italian restaurant was our favorite and the Asian restaurant was also very good. We look forward to returning next year. Special thank you to our butler’s Omar & Daniel - amazing service! Always looking to make our stay more enjoyable- Again thank you for all you guys did !

We checked into the hotel on June 27, 2025, around 12:00 PM and were initially welcomed with champagne. However, our experience quickly deteriorated, culminating in a horrific incident where my fiancée became a victim of a sex crime. At approximately 2:00 PM, we had a scheduled appointment with the wedding and event organizers to tour potential ceremony and reception areas for our wedding planned for March 2026. Unfortunately, the wedding organizer was late and responded disrespectfully when we inquired about her whereabouts, saying, “I’ll get to that.” The facilities did not meet our expectations, and when we voiced our concerns, her response was dismissive: “That’s what we have to offer.” We expected a higher level of professionalism and enthusiasm, given the significance of our event, but her lack of engagement was unacceptable. At around 3:00 PM, we ordered room service that included margaritas and French fries. Shortly after, around 3:30 PM, there was a knock at our door. I had just stepped out of the shower, delaying my response, while my fiancée was on the balcony. When I opened the door to the room service staff—a Hispanic male—I noticed he entered, set down our order, and seemed to survey the room, particularly the balcony area. While he was in our room, I received a phone call and informed a friend that I would meet him at the pool in about 20-30 minutes. I left the room shortly after finishing the call. At approximately 4:00 PM, a Hispanic male entered our room without our knowledge or consent, using an electronic key card. My fiancée, who had just come out of the shower and was unclothed, mistook him for me when she heard noises. However, when she realized he was not me, she screamed and rushed back into the bedroom. He quickly left the room with the items he had brought (glasses and tableware). It is crucial to note that my fiancée is a survivor of sexual assault and found it difficult to discuss the incident, as it was deeply triggering for her. She wanted to move past it and enjoy the remainder of our stay. However, later that evening, she revealed her belief that the man had been in our room while I was out by the pool, potentially watching her shower. This violation is not something we can overlook, and due to the incident, we agreed to check out of the hotel the following day. On June 28, 2025, at 11:30 AM, while checking out, I informed the front desk clerk about our early departure. He noted that our checkout date was still two days away and asked for the reason for our early exit. I elaborated on the incident that occurred the previous day at 4:00 PM. At that point, we were escorted back to the lobby, where I asked to speak with her supervisor. I then spoke with the front desk manager, Jose Luis Penaloza, who informed us that he was aware of the situation and asked us to complete an incident report. I asked why we had not yet spoken with anyone from the safety and security department, as this issue required proper investigation and documentation. The manager began to talk over me in a hostile tone and insisted that I fill out the form. I requested that he call the local police department so I could document the situation with them. He responded, "You're going to waste more of your time with the police; they're not going to help you." At that moment, hotel staff began to crowd around us as other guests started leaving the lobby. Due to the unwanted presence of the staff, the front office manager’s demeanor, and our fear of potential retaliation, we decided to leave the property in our Uber.

My stay at Garza Blanca was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Their kindness and attentiveness truly stood out, and we felt like VIPs the entire time. The food? Incredible! Every meal was a culinary delight—10/10 without a doubt. From presentation to flavor, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were all top-notch. I can’t recommend this resort enough and can’t wait to come back again. If you’re looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway, this is the place to be!

My wife and I are Elite members with Tafer and we have loved every property we have been to! The service is unmatched, the staff are so polite and accommodating, the resorts are beyond gorgeous and manicured to perfection. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite on the ocean which was spectacular. It is advised to get the all inclusive package when you stay as it is all you can eat and drink. Otherwise you’ll spend more money paying on your own. The food is delicious. I have never had a bad meal at any of their properties. If something isn’t to your liking they will fix it. The drinks are also amazing.

We had high expectations for our stay at Garza Blanca, especially having previously enjoyed a wonderful experience at the Marquis in the same area. Unfortunately, from day one, the experience fell short of what one would expect from a luxury resort.||Despite booking for a party of four, the sofa bed was not prepared, and we had to call and wait for housekeeping to take care of it. Kid-friendly amenities — something basic for a family-oriented resort — were missing upon arrival. Services like the timely removal of used dishes and delivery of drinking water were inconsistent, and often required repeated reminders.||Dining was a significant challenge. Every restaurant required advance reservations, and because we visited during a busy summer season, most were fully booked. This meant we had to frequently leave the resort for both lunch and dinner — not exactly what you’d expect from a supposed all-inclusive experience. Breakfast was underwhelming as well; for a resort that presents itself as 5-star, the variety and quality of breakfast options were disappointing.||At Blanca Blue, our server Jared took nearly 30 minutes to bring a high chair for our toddler. By then, our food had arrived, and I had no choice but to eat with my child on my lap. We also asked for a fan to keep flies away — that never came. That meal was among the worst dining experiences we’ve had at a resort.||Other issues included watered-down tequila shots from the food truck, and noticeably slower service at the kids’ pool compared to the adult areas. On top of all this, there were no solid lunch options that suited young families — which is puzzling for a place that claims to be kid-friendly.||What really left a sour taste was the pushy sales pitch. Immediately after check-in, we were approached by Paulina encouraging us to become members. After paying a premium to stay here, the emphasis seemed more on selling memberships than actually delivering a great experience to the guests already on-site.||Its like a closed box, you call one number and they can't help you. Whats the point?

I recently stayed at Garza Blanca Los Cabos from July 12–16 with a group of 11 women. As a 4-Star Elite member, I made two separate reservations: one for a two-bedroom ocean view suite for four guests, and one for a one-bedroom suite for myself and two others. I expected a premium experience consistent with the Garza Blanca brand and my Elite status — but unfortunately, this trip fell far short. Food quality across the resort was underwhelming, and restaurant service was inconsistent at best. Our experience at Hiroshi was especially disappointing. Upon being seated, we were informed that because of our group size, we could not order from the menu — the chef would simply bring out a selection of dishes. After going back and forth with the waiter and explaining that several guests had food allergies and dietary restrictions, he finally relented and allowed us to order individually. That same waiter later told me that he preferred tips in cash, rather than having a $100 gratuity charged to the room — an inappropriate and uncomfortable request at a luxury property. Despite my 4-Star Elite status, I was not recognized or treated as a valued guest. One of my reservations was confirmed by Resortcom as including an ocean view, but at check-in, I was told that ocean views are never guaranteed. When I requested they review the phone transcript, staff claimed they would follow up but never did. The interaction felt dismissive and borderline gaslighting. Dinner reservations for our group were not honored, even though I submitted clear instructions ahead of time requesting combined tables. The lack of coordination and responsiveness made what should have been enjoyable group dinners unnecessarily stressful. I was also told that poolside chair reservations are only available to 5-Star Elite members, which was never made clear prior to the trip — another example of how little my 4-Star status seemed to matter at this property. One of my guests, who is a 5-Star Elite member, had a slightly better experience with her room assignment and welcome, and was able to reserve poolside seating. Still, the difference was minimal. Overall, I felt like I was placed in the general population, not acknowledged as a loyal Elite member, and certainly not afforded the elevated experience I’ve come to expect. This stay was a sharp contrast to my experiences at my home resort, Garza Blanca Cancun, where I am consistently recognized and treated with care. The staff there take the time to ensure every aspect of my stay reflects my membership status and loyalty to the brand. Unfortunately, this visit to Garza Blanca Los Cabos has made me seriously question the consistency and value of the Elite program across locations. I expected more — and the resort should do better.

Google
I will say of the three all inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at in Cabo this was my favorite one. The food was good here (especially compared to other all inclusives) and it is beautiful with great customer service. My only cons are that there is suppose to be designated kids pool but they definitely were in the adult pools, the rule wasn’t really reinforced. Right as you check in they make you sit through a really long time share presentation. Also, like many other Cabo locations you can not swim at the beach. All in all, this is my favorite resort!

From the second we arrived we were treated like royalty. This level of hospitality and professionalism was not anything we were used to. There were two people who really went above and beyond for our special weekend. The head bell man with gel spiked hair I think his name was Ricardo but I could be wrong. This man was so outgoing and took care of every request with grace. Another stand out member was Rene at the steakhouse. Rene accommodated our party size at each reservation and did some very special things to make us truly feel like we were kings and queens. Every single one of our party guest was over the top about these two gentlemen as well as the top notch service. I do not have a single complaint about this resort or a single staff member. If I could remember all of there names I would include them all. Room staff, bell hop, front desk, concierge, bartenders around the pools and more. They did not miss a single beat. Thank you Rene and Ricardo along with the rest of the resort staff for making our weekend and our families weekend so so special. We are all coming back soon.

Yelp
Amazing friendly staff that were super helpful at every request. You absolutely need to make reservations for every restaurant at dinner otherwise room service will your option. Super easy to arrange Uber's to get to town.

Yelp
We arrived at the hotel on June 27, 2025, around 12:00 PM and were greeted with champagne. Unfortunately, the day took a turn for the worse when my fiancée became a victim of a sex crime. At approximately 2:00 PM, we met with the wedding organizer to tour the hotel for our planned wedding in March 2026. She was late and unprofessional, offering little assistance when we expressed concerns about the reception and ceremony areas. Around 3:00 PM, after ordering room service, a male staff member entered our room at 4:00 PM with an electronic key card while my fiancée was showering and unclothed. She thought it was me until she saw him and screamed. The man quickly left. My fiancée, a survivor of sexual assault, found the incident triggering but tried to enjoy the rest of our stay. The next morning, I informed the front desk of our early checkout due to safety concerns. The clerk explained the refund policy, and I requested to speak to a supervisor, Monse. After detailing our situation, Monse said the refund department was closed for the weekend and suggested we contact security to file a report. I refused to wait and, along with my fiancée, gathered our belongings and left the hotel. We returned the room bands to Monse and went to our room for security to check the entry history. As we were getting ready to leave, my fiancée and I were escorted back to our room for security to investigate the incident further.

Yelp
Let me start by saying: this hotel should be ashamed of how they treat people. I had to cancel my reservation due to a high-risk pregnancy, something already emotionally and physically overwhelming. Instead of offering support or even basic understanding, this hotel demanded sensitive medical documentation from my doctor--as if my pregnancy and health needed to be proven to them like some kind of courtroom trial. To make matters worse, I spent days trying to contact someone, only to be told that the department responsible for handling cancellations was closing early for religious holidays. That left me completely in the dark and stressed out, trying to handle something incredibly time-sensitive while being stonewalled and ignored. This level of invasion of privacy, lack of empathy, and absolute disregard for guest well-being is unacceptable. I wasn't trying to get over on anyone--I was trying to protect my pregnancy and my peace. The fact that I had to fight for that while dealing with their cold, dismissive policies is beyond insulting. Hotels are supposed to be in the business of hospitality. This place is in the business of bureaucracy and bad attitude. If you value being treated like a human being--do NOT give them your money

Yelp
The service at this hotel is utter trash. Literally the worst service you could ever receive. The check in staff was rude and took forever not only got us checked in but to prepare our rooms took longer than the time they quoted. They have no care or sincerity for anyone. The look in all of their eyes is dead. They only look for ways to upset you and get a thrill in the process. My family and I have been personally targeted and harassed by this hotels staff. They refused to accommodate our large party for dinner reservations that I made months in advance. When we arrived at HIROSHI for dinner the manager and his smug-faced receptionist couldn't have been ruder to use. I get the sense that they have a personal relationship from the flirtatious interactions between them. Anyway, they wanted to seat us in a side of the restaurant with no heaters. They refused to give us a table so we could all sit together for my birthday. The funny thing is they say they can't create any large tables but there were numerous other large parties sitting at LARGE tables. They targeted us. Perhaps it is because we were speaking another language and their racist side came out. The manager CARLOS NAMUR had a personal vendetta against me and my family. Everyone who arrived after us received their food, we sat hungry for over 2 hours. We had small children with us and we kept asking for something for them to eat. CARLOS would just stare at us with his dead eyes through his glasses. We thought the nightmare we over until dinner the next night. When we walked into the steakhouse we saw CARLOS NAMUR and the manager of the steakhouse JOSÉ standing in the corner staring at us and laughing. CARLOS went out of his way to leave his restaurant to come to the restaurant we were going to to make sure to tell the manager to treat us poorly. I'm sorry to say that Jose listened to Carlos and not only did he also ruin our night, but he and Carlos had a good laugh at our expense. They sat 16 guests at a table meant for 8. My family had no room to eat. There were empty tables all around us but they refused to make our table bigger because they were getting a kick out of seeing us uncomfortable. The food came out three hours later. Our small children were starving. This is not the definition of all inclusive and service. This vacation has been nothing but short of hell thanks to these two scumbags. Please please stay away from this hotel. I have everything documented and will be taking this matter up with the heads of the company. Targeting and discriminating against guests is not ok. Shame on you CARLOS NAMUR and JOSE. May you and your mother and your children and your unattractive mistress from work all receive the same treatment you gave my family. Shame on you. You truly are the definition of a digesting petty piece of human garbage. I hope you rot in hell.

Yelp
This review is for Blanca Blue restaurant only. It's a Mexican restaurant located inside Garza Blanca resort. Location is amazing with mesmerizing view to ocean. Large indoor and outdoor seating. Food looks good, nothing special with small portions and over priced. Service is good with English speaking staff. Light live music over evenings. Great for gathering, meetup, groups, kids, seniors and events. Parking available through resort parking lot and valet.

Yelp
Update to previous review. General Manager falsely claimed we were offered alternative room which is not true. Customer service not in existence. Front desk staff and their managers extremely unfriendly.

Yelp
Good place for our vacation. I enjoy delious foods. There has many restaurants such as Japanese, Italian, Mexican,... I like the Japanese foods. I dislike time when we receive the room, I received at 16:00, so late. I must come to reception and ask them the room, I feel uncomfortable for this. They should call me or arange room soon, but they didnt. I hope their service will improve. Thanks.

Yelp
About a month later, after several phone calls/emails and hours spent trying to get the manager to make an exception for credit or refund, the hotel offered to let us change the dates for our trip. By the time they FINALLY offered it, we had already paid the late cancellation penalty fee (first and second night, amounting to roughly $2,000 since it's all inclusive). Note we did book through Expedia and that was a major issue with them offering credit. We no longer trust this resort to be reasonable and fair with us, so after staying there twice in the past, we have decided to never return. It was way, way too much unnecessary stress trying to get them to work with us during an emergency. My father did end up dying, and I offered all of the necessary documentation to prove our cancellation was legitimate. Sounds like this place has gone down hill judging by other negative reviews.

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here. We had an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurants are fantastic with the sushi restaurant being our favorite and the rooms feel lavish. We did all inclusive and we definitely got our money's worth on food and drinks but also in peace of mind that we can enjoy almost all they have to offer. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Yelp
Just because we can't afford the ocean view or they aren't allowing us to switch. Doesn't mean we deserve the kitchen grill exhaust fumes and ridiculously loud ventilators right outside our 2 bedroom suite. Horrible experience and we blew a lot a money for our once a year vacation.

Yelp
NUMEROUS BILLING ISSUES/DECEPTIVE MARKETING: including surprise charges for environmental fee not listed in the total quote, meals incorrectly charged as non-all-inclusive, and surprise tax and surcharges for "premium items" that were deceptively advertised as covered by the daily resort credit. When you check out, you'll find that the billing statement for additional charges (including tips) is nearly unintelligible. All the dates are incorrect, the descriptor for each line item is unclear/not self-explanatory (e.g. for tips, which we had over 20+ line items for, all you see is that its a "tip" and how much, but you don't know where or when). MEDIOCRE FOOD MOST OF THE DAY: Poor food choice and quality during lunchtime. The main restaurants, where the food is better, are only open for dinner. For lunch you are stuck with pool service or a raw bar (menu overlaps a lot) where the majority of the food is terrible / inedible. English not spoken by customer-facing cooks at breakfast stations. QUEEN BEDS WERE ACTUALLY FULL-SIZED/DECEPTIVE MARKETING: Room advertised to have 2 queen beds. They were not queen. They were full sized / double beds. Also get ready to have the AC blow in your face all night because of the way the room is ventilated. PRE-ARRIVAL CONCIERGE: Pre arrival concierge generally took a couple days to respond, would say they'd call back and then wouldn't, and required re-prompting multiple times. Would not promise a crib, though I was told to call the day before check-in and they would confirm if it was available. Seems standard for hotels not to confirm crib availability and its a practice I especially loathe, since the alternative solution is to deal with hassle renting equipment or bringing your own crib anyway. Ultimately I would've tolerate most of this even though I had expected a luxury resort for the price and based on the branding, but the billing issues and lack of integrity put it over the top.

Yelp
I've been here 5 times and honestly it's one of the best all inclusive resorts I've been to. It's relaxing, it's clean, and the food is actually decent. However, I'm giving it 3 stars because the service has been getting worse and worse each time I come here. There were ants in our room when we checked in, I mean they were all over the counter. We complained and were patient, I cleaned and the staff cleaned as well. But they were not willing to accommodate us with another room and even accused us of attracting ants and asked us if we ate in the room. I told them I just got my room, haven't even ordered room service and asked them to check the records. They said they would investigate, then on the last day of my stay, they said they can give us a complimentary room THE NEXT TIME I COME. I was so shocked. No spa offer or other room offer. Anyways other than that, it's a nice place to stay. Just my last experience was horrible

Yelp
We stayed here early July and attended a wedding which was beautiful! Check in was easy, our room was beautiful! Loved the large patio with the hammock. Access to the elevator was great! We got the all inclusive package. We loved the all night room service. Pool service was great! The food was delicious! We ate breakfast daily and ate at the Japanese and Italian restaurant. We heard from friends that the Steak house was good too. Drinks were just right. The pool temp was perfect. Loved the rooftop infinity pool. The ocean water was cold and rough, so we spent most of our time in the pool. The grounds were immaculate. We loved the turn down service and the little candies they left. Also the Soaking tub just made the stay even better along with the Bidet toilet. We can not wait to come back and relax at this resort again!

Yelp
If you have a group with children and or older/limited mobility folks this is a nice experience. The location is the vacation. The amenities and the service is the treat. Its very expensive. Not much to do other than be in the resort, you can not swim due to the strong current. The food was hit or miss. The steak house and the Mexican restaurant were the best. Noi was a big miss for my table. I had risotto at two different places. Neither prepared it correctly. I found the fish and seafood were prepared the best throughout the resort. I felt very safe and the place was incredibly clean. The staff works so hard I hope they are compensated well by the Facility. Even though our reservation said tips included we found ourselves tipping constantly. There is 1 pool that is adults only on the roof top. We traveled without kids and this was most definitely a family focused resort. Nothing to do in the evenings. No dancing or live entertainment. There was some background singers at dinner however they were very quiet likely so you can hear your table mates. We went to cabo city and san jose everyday out of sheer bordem. We used uber it is priced right. If you use the Facility taxi you will pay 4 times the uber rate. We went to the grocery store near by and had the best civiche and guacamole. It was better than what we ate at the resort and a fraction of the cost. Id say if you are going to a place where you can have staff wait on you 24 hours a day and have kids or people who arent very mobile this is a great spot because you can stay at the resort all day. For me it was all very nice and pretty however i wanted activities to make memories. They do offer yoga in the morning under the most amazing orange tree and water aerobics which i participated in and quite enjoyed myself. You can rent an e-bike for free, i wish we would have done that. They also have horse rides on the ocean however i dont support that for the animals sake. Because we have a time share we of course got baited into a sales pitch to buy more points. That was a big let down as it was told to us as a brief update on the newly acquired properties and how we can best use our current points. Instead it was a hard sell on why what we bought and have almost paid off isnt enough? Enough for what? They never even asked us why we liked the timeshare and bought in the first place. Kind of odd. As a side note there were so many weddings and each night we had fireworks. Also you can go next door andhet massages for $60 versus the $180 the resport offers also the resort two doors down has excellent food!

Yelp
Why someone would give this resort anything less than 5 stars is a wonder to me. First, they sent a brand new top of the line Ford Expedition to pick us up from the airport. Once we arrived we were greeted outside with a glass of champagne. Then, our own concierge was assigned to us to make sure that every need was met the entire stay! Garza Blanca is absolutely gorgeous. From the lobby, to all the pool areas (especially the rooftop infinity pool), to the numerous on site restaurants. Our suite was amazing. I loved the alligator print refrigerator, big comfy bed and the patio was large with amazing views of the Cabo beach line. My favorite feature was the heated toilet seat with the Bidet attachment. My booty never felt so good...loI!!! I want one so bad but after finding it online, I'm not ready to drop $600 for a damn toilet seat. Lol This is an all inclusive resort that offers high end liquor, high end food and high end service! Consider Garza Blanca the next time you're planning your Cabo vacay!!!!

Yelp
My family and I splurged on an all-inclusive stay at Garza Blanca and had an excellent time. Pros: - The grounds are spacious and immaculate with modern & tasteful finishes. Our Junior Suite Ocean View w/ 2 Queen Beds (667 avg. sq. ft) w/ balcony was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Toto toilets! Solid reliable WiFi everywhere. - Albeit no slides, the 3-level variety of heated pools was so fun and the super hot large jacuzzi right by the beach was the best. (You should grab the best chairs at 6 AM as the chair hog game is everywhere) - Incredible food and drinks! We booked this place mostly because of positive reviews on the food and it did not disappoint. Excellent breakfast buffet, most notably the Mickey pancakes, croissants, donuts, lox, and scrambled eggs. Incredible flank steak (some of best steak I've had) at the Food Truck. Loved our gourmet dining (in order) at Noi (Italian), Bocado (Steakhouse), and Blanca Blue (Mexican). Hiroshi (Japanese) was good but not as impressive as the others IMO. - The service here is top-notch! Everyone from the cleaning staff, hostesses, pool, and restaurant staff is very kind, hospitable, and attentive. You can tell they work their butts off and I hope they are treated well. Your room is cleaned twice a day and they provide turndown service. - They have a nice Kids Center but our daughter refused to go by herself. - Awesome techno music, whoever curates it has great taste Cons: - Our concierge pre-check-in was not responsive and took a long time to reply to our questions - Being nitpicky at this point but subpar: sushi at Hirosmi (little fish-to-rice ratio and the rice was too dense), cheesecake, iced coffee at the pool, sometimes drinks were watered down - The concierge desk is relentless and almost annoying with the investment promotion, so much so that I don't want to book just tours with them. - Like other resorts, they need branded sunscreen dispensers throughout the pool grounds and not just a dinky little cart with sunscreens that often go missing Note: - Make reservations for restaurants as soon as you can, as bookings go quickly. However, we showed up earlier every night and were able to get seated promptly - Recommend Ubers for airport transfer- ~$30USD vs the resort price of $200! - The beach is more pebbly than fine sand - When we went in Feb, the ocean water was cold and the tide was mostly too rough to relax in, so we spent most of the time in the heated pools. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Yelp
Loved our stay here can't say enough good things. The hotel is newer {build in 2019 I believe} it feels fresh and new still from the lobby to the rooms and pools it's well kept and maintained. Many pools outside facing ocean you can choose from. Rooftop pool with great views and no kids allowed up top. Can order food from any of them and the waiters keep the drinks flowing without any wait. Def rec going all inclusive bc pricing is ridiculous if you purchased items a la carte. Easy tip system uou cash out your tab every time you order and add tip to full bill then at end pay all the tips you added up during your stay. No need to carry around cash etc. Room service is ordered on the tv and is fast and easy with similar decent options. Make ressies before you get here for your restaurants to get the time you want. There are a few on site and weren't busy during our stay but book out in busy season early. Rooftop Italian and The sushi spot were our favorites. We also were big fans of ordering breakfast in the room. The gym is big and has tons of machines, cardio, and weights. Housekeeping came in twice daily and restocked and left tons of water bottles. Our staff interactions were always very good and staff goes out of their way to say hello and help guests. Junior suite is the way to go. Make sure you get an ocean view or your looking at street and rocks on other side though. Bed was super comfy with 6 huge pillows. Ceiling fan in bedroom -- yesss. Huge soaking tub. Rainforest shower and seat in main shower. Great toiletries and full kitchen --- even has washer and dryer with a few tide pods! We have a massive balcony spanning bedroom and living room spaces with full table and hammock overlooking the ocean. Would absolutely come back!

Yelp
Our first all inclusive + Cabo trip and I'd like to say it was an absolute success. Service was great. Food was great and usually hit the spot. There are 4 restaurants for dinner service and 2 lunch options around the resort. The pools were amazing. Our one bedroom suite was awesome. We were a group of 12 and all of us can't wait to be back.

Yelp
Terrible experience! Guest relations from checking in to leaving and after... "Be aware" At checking in- the agent just stared at a Blanc screen.for 10 minutes ignoring our requests and us. At check out- floors were not kept and an accident happened. At the pool, we all got bruises from the pool jets! During our stay 3 people fell on their badly kept floors. Kids in the rooms as well. The worse resort we have ever stayed at.

Yelp
The all inclusive is legit here! We had such an amazing experience. The food and service were incredible! Beautiful spacey room with beach view. Supercool rooftop bar. They do try to sell you on the presentation and if you attend you can get huge discounts on activities. Our favorite spots in order: 1. Hiroschi 2. NOI 3. Blanca Blue 4. Bocados steak The breakfast buffet was delicious as well Make sure to make a reservation at least 1-2 weeks in advance. Perfect spot if you're looking to relax. Also, the spa was the best massage of my life and the amenities- sauna, steam room, cold plunge, jacuzzi, massage bed, etc was the best. Book your stay here, you won't regret it. Don't listen to all the bad reviews. Most of them is cause they were annoyed they attended a 2 hour presentation (I didn't attend it and just paid full price for 2 activities that weren't even that expensive- parasailing and swimming with dolphins which is a MUST) We will be back!

Yelp
We recently stayed at Garza Blanca for a few days and were extremely excited to try the all-inclusive package. When we checked in at 12 PM, we were instructed to make dinner reservations online. However every single restaurant was booked until 9 PM for the ENTIRE duration of our trip (and our toddler goes to sleep at 8 PM), so they told us to simply eat in our rooms by ordering room service instead. The concierge staff said there was nothing they could do for us. When we showed up to the restaurants at 6 PM to see if there were any last-minute cancellations or openings, we were hopeful because there were SO many open tables everywhere. However, the hostess insisted that the restaurant was "fully booked" for the night and that there was nothing they could do. We checked again in 15-30 minutes and saw that there were still many open tables. We were extremely disappointed with this experience having to pay for an all-inclusive package, only to be told that we could not eat at any of the restaurants and had to eat mediocre food in our room. Absolutely disappointed at the lack of empathy and understanding by the staff since nobody made any efforts to fit us in anywhere. What is the point of having an all-inclusive package when there is not enough room to accommodate all of the guests for dinner? If you're reading this and still plan on staying at Garza Blanca, HIGHLY recommend making your dinner reservations online on their website (https://cabo.garzablancaresort.com/gourmet-dining/reservations) AT LEAST one week before check-in because they will not budge if there are no more spots open. All of their activities ALSO require reservations, which makes things absolutely inaccessible since there are only 10 spots open for each activity. We wanted to partake in one of the culinary experiences/cooking classes, but that was cancelled for a special event during our stay. There is also very little to do at the resort after 5 PM, so make sure to have your own plan for nighttime activities if you come. Right away when you land in Cabo at SJD and exit the airport, you're greeted with a TON of local people trying to scam you or sell you things you don't need. Unfortunately when you arrive at Garza Blanca, you will continue to be treated like this by hotel staff who will continue to try and sell you things like a timeshare or expensive excursions to squeeze even more money out of you. Overall, just a disappointing experience.

Yelp
Man I don't know why we come back to this place. My wife and I are residence here and this location is just awful. This trip we got cat fished. My wife booked the 4 bedroom penthouse. Questioned if she booked the proper room and called asking if this was the ocean front. We were told yes. We get to the resort to find out they didn't book us for that they booked us for another 4 bedroom. Which is much smaller and not even close to the same room. The worst part is how rude the staff was. "When you called it wasn't us you spoke with". "We dont have a 4 bedroom ocean front" which is a lie. The owner should be appalled. I travel often for work and bet better service at a Courtyard Marriott.

Yelp
Had a relaxing stay here. Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted with champagne and a warm towel. The butler took our luggage up to our rooms while we checked in. Our room was upgraded to an ocean front view. Walking into the room, I like the modern feel and how spacious it was. The room had a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, living room, a master bathroom and another smaller bathroom, a balcony with a hammock, and a washer/dryer. The bedroom was separated with a sliding door. The master bathroom was my favorite part of the room because everything was automatic. The bidet was very convenient and the entire resort had one in pretty much every restroom. There's a few restaurants at the resort and if you need reservation, you can ask the butler to take care of it. My favorite spot was the food truck by the beach. We enjoyed fresh oysters and ceviche while chilling under the cabana. Every morning, we got breakfast at the ayce breakfast buffet while waiting for the sunset. There's an infinity pool and also plenty of pool area on the resort. The currents were too strong to swim in so there weren't many people on the beach. Overall, we had a nice stay here.

Yelp
What a wonderful all inclusive resort right on the water!! I wouldn't come here if I didn't have kids, but since I do, it was perfect for my family! So clean, delicious food, great pools, and lovely amenities. Service was friendly though pretty slow. But I believe the resort was at full capacity for spring break. If you get up early you're good to go with breakfast and the pool. If not, good luck! I wish we could have used resort credit too but oh well.

Yelp
This place is beautiful! From the entrance with the view of the beach and pools, to the nice aesthetic to the rooms it was lovely. The ambiance and the butler service were perfect. My butlers, Tiffany and Santiago were amazing!! They prepared a bubble bath for me every night. Whatever I requested, they took care of. They were responsive and very helpful. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. Please note: after checking in, they will have you sit down with a rep from concierge to go over the property as well as excursions. They will then go over their discounted rates on excursions that you are eligible for ONCE you attend the presentation. That's fine, but the issue I had with that was the presentation is too long! I was told an hour, it took 2 hours (I ended the meeting). They are too pushy with trying to get people to apply for their time share. Though, it was a good deal it was not something of my interest. They do not know how to end once you say, "no thank you." When I checked out the receptionist informed me of an outstanding balance for tips that I owed. My stay was all-inclusive, so that was incorrect. I let them know I gave cash tips and they proceeded to show receipts from where I dined. One of the receipts someone signed as if they were me, which is plagiarism. I exposed them and let them know that wasn't my signature. FYI -- after dining, each guest is asked to sign a receipt for their records. You cannot sign unless the waiter provides a receipt-- in this case, I did not receive one. They immediately rectified this situation and cleared my balance. Aside from them being dishonest and shady, I did not like them adding a balance for extra money. Tips are a personal choice especially at an all-inclusive place. This resort appears to be a money grab. They did not release the hold on my deposit. I had to escalate the issue to my bank while calling Garza Blanca to get it resolved. My security deposit was held for 2 months after the trip. There was also no explanation for why it was not released sooner. Very displeased with my experience. Read below for my review on everything else: Food: 2/5 -- The restaurants open for breakfast and lunch were ok. Be careful what you eat and drink. I got extremely sick the last day of my trip, which lasted 1 1/2 weeks after I returned home. Best restaurant: Noi (Italian) -- food was delicious Least favorite: Bocados -- steak was overcooked, food lacked flavor Room: 5/5 -- clean, spacious, nice aesthetic Each room comes with a bathtub, snack bar, and your own personal butler(s) Spa: 5/5 -- exceptional, really a great experience

Yelp
I got this deal from Costco for this all inclusive experience. it was still on the expensive side but well worth it once you get there. The whole resort is very spacious. The hallways are filled with artwork and are very wide and spacious. The rooms are very nicely appointed with a bathtub, a rain shower with handle shower, outside patio with hammock, comfortable king bed and refrigerator where everything is included and restocked daily. The rooms looked very new and modern. I didn't really watch TV but I did go through the movies once and they were newer movies. The food was amazing, and so delicious from the appetizers, main entrees and desserts. The cocktails were also very well crafted. The service was top-notch, and they were very nice and attentive. My favorite restaurant was Noi, the Italian restaurant. Then the Japanese restaurant was 2nd, finally Bocado the Steak restaurant. We also had Mexican buffet for one of the nights with live music on the outside beach patio. They did actually get us to listen to one of their timeshare pitches in exchange for a whale watching tour. They said about 75 minutes, but it took over two hours. But we did get to see a mother and daughter whale swimming in the ocean during our boat tour so it was worth it. The beaches are much nicer than Cancun, and there is no seaweed and very little people which we liked. We went during spring break, so it was nice to see no crowds. All in all great trip, and I would definitely come back to a Garza resort.

Yelp
We enjoyed the beautiful rooms, pools, hospitality, food, and drinks. I really like the blue berry ginger cocktail. Everything was clean need an orderly. We were impressed with the quality of the food given that it's an all inclusive.

Yelp
I just came back from the Garza Blanca hotel celebrating a bachelorette trip, and I'm already looking forward to going back! From when you arrived to when we checked out, the service was impeccable. Walking in, it smelled amazing! The decor is chic & modern, but there are various ways they incorporate colors. Everyone had a smile on their face and everyone was so helpful. The hotel itself wasn't too big, which I liked because it was easy to walk around. The room we stayed in was a 3 bedroom oceanfront suite that came with premium wifi and premium features, such as the tequila tasting. Which we were able to schedule with the butler. The room was gorgeous and spacious, and that VIEW was breathtaking. The outside wrapped around the whole room and had a jacuzzi. The seats in the rooms were heated and were equipped with bidets. The downsides I had with the room were very small. For one as an unpacker, there weren't any drawers to unpack, just cubicles in the closet. I thought it was odd, especially in the room with two double beds. There also wasn't a full-length mirror in anywhere but the bathrooms. I stayed in the room with the double beds, and the bed closest to the windows didn't have outlets on both sides. The bathroom had a rain full and a shower head option and the floor was stone, which felt amazing on your feet. We had a daytime and a nighttime butler and they were both absolute gems, some small things happened ( ie like not setting up the aromatherapy), but overall they did great. From moving reservations to setting up our experience to ordering cabs, to the decor...they did it ALL. Please ask for Brenda and Rodrigo! To talk about food, for one I want to know that this resort you can choose not to do all-inclusive or not. Due to this, after every meal, they ask for your room number. We had the all-inclusive package. The breakfast was always fresh and it rotated. We had a small incident where a woman told our party that there weren't any available tables in the front area of the breakfast area, but all the tables were free. We ended up speaking to another male host, and he seated us with ease. There are a couple of restaurants, but I didn't try them all. I can attest to the breakfast, there is a waffle and omelet station that's great. The rooftop food was good too (get the steak quesadilla!) There is a restaurant by the beach and some of the items are decent, but the bbq chicken I had was amazing. The first day, I had a raw dish from here and it didn't sit well with my stomach. The final place I ate at was the steakhouse and the surf and turf were good, however, the Mac and cheese didn't do it for me. Everything else was good. Sidenote there is an atm and a St,arbucks in the gift shop as well. A con I feel that is a part of Garza not being a 5-star rating from me is that there isn't any nightlife. There is a bar that closes late, but that's about it. It's about 20 minutes from the strip where there are many clubs and bars. Thanks to Garza they helped make the experience amazing!

Yelp
This rude woman insulted my wife and I on our honeymoon! She said things like "you seriously can't afford $300 a month?" and when we had already mentioned the grooms parents paid for the wedding, "so your parents didn't even pay for the wedding?" When I asked for a few days to check and see if my folks would pay for the right to use timeshare, she said "oh so you're not even paying for this yourself? Makes sense..." she was super cool throughout the tour only to turn into the most two faced horrible person my wife and I have ever met. We were actually considering taking the offer, couldn't be more glad we didn't! This employee is ruining your company's reputation and should be immediately relieved of her duties. She kept us well past the promised 90 minute tour and made us late for our next excursion, on our honeymoon no less! We said "we really have to get going" and she kept trying to convince us to buy her deal. We also asked for space on the patio to discuss the deal amongst ourselves and she joined us within 3 minutes and would not stop trying to oversell her right to use timeshare BS. Do not buy Garza Blanca right to use! It's abundantly clear they will treat you like gold until they don't need to anymore.

Yelp
We had a horrible experience here. Our friends from the past have told us how great it was but this was at least 3-4 years ago. We have stayed at Grand Velas and were planning to go back there this trip but since we had other friends staying at Garza Blanca, we decided to try a new resort. Horrible mistake. We booked a two story 3 bedroom suite. Pre-arrival was horrible, the concierge told me to just book my own dinners because his system was down; this was 3 weeks prior to our arrival. I asked for 2 car seats for the car to/from the hotel; there were no car seats in the car. Responses took forever as well. When we arrived, check in was smooth and the room was beautiful, views were great. But then at night, all we heard in the upstairs bedrooms were chairs and furniture scraping from the rooftop restaurant. It wasn't a huge deal for us to make a fuss about so we just tried to ignore it every night. The last night of our stay was the ABSOLUTE worst. We had our in-room dining experience from their chef and we had dinner on our balcony. We had no idea there would be a wedding right above us. The music was blaring, people stomping all over the roof, furniture scraping all night until 11:00 pm and then we had to listen to clean up until midnight. Mind you, we have 3 little kids who sleep early and were fussy all night because they couldn't fall asleep. It felt like we were at the wedding. We complained several times and nothing changed just a bunch of I'm sorry's and a small discount on our last night's stay. I was told by the Experience Manager that we were the only guests that had complained about the wedding above us but we were 1 of 2 rooms directly under the wedding. The spa and tennis court was next to our room so of course I'm the only person to complain because there is literally no one else there. Food was not good. They cannot mix drinks for the life of them. We stuck with wine because you can't mess that up. Even our friends stopped ordering the mixed drinks and just got beer and wine. They have a ton of items that are not included in the all inclusive package and they don't tell you it's not included until you're done ordering. Kids club wasn't that great either. The only pros about this place was (for the most part) that their staff was very friendly and the doctor on site was great with our kids. The spa was also a great experience and beautiful facility. Our butlers were great and very accommodating. Even our friends who have gone back to Garza Blanca recently said they will not be going back because their experiences from the first time to this time were two completely different experiences. We will not be back. I would 100% recommend Grand Velas that is right next door over Garza Blanca any day.

Yelp
In May of 2022, my husband and I had a destination wedding at the Garza Blanca with our closest friends. It was a group of about 30 people. If you're interested in planning a wedding here are some key parts of the experience - 1. Sales Process - Very responsive and answered many of our questions. They had some great specials and offers for us because we had booked in late 2021 as Covid was still prevalent and they were picking up on weddings. They try to only have one wedding per day to focus on you. The contracting process was smooth as well and we were able to discuss some key items and make some small adjustments in the contract. Some tips: consider obligations such as the room block and how many rooms you can cancel without financial obligation, costs for children, allowed vendors (photographer, DJ, make up), any specials/deals. We didn't experience hidden costs, but we did ask many questions and read all the fine print. They have booklets and outlines of the requirements, once you get to contract more of the nuances come out. In order to receive a special, they did note that you had to sign up by a certain date. We asked for more time to decide and they did provide us time. 2. Planning Process - They have an in house planner and they work with collection Events. When you book a wedding through Garza Blanca, you get both their planning/coordination services and day of coordination. It is really a great value that' s included in your package. You can opt to bring your own wedding planner, but we just went with things on a whim and it all worked out super well! I worked with Yvett from Garza Blanca and Karla from Collection Events. For me, I wasn't a very particular bride in terms of the vendors that I worked with, so it was very smooth having everything all in house. At times, it was difficult to get a hold of Yvett via email because of the high volume of weddings and events. I was panicking because things were late, but since things are in house, they can flip everything to perfection for you quickly. Yvett and Karla were professional, kind, nice, talented, and dedicated. They do all the events are extremely busy, but they still made me feel special. They were a pleasure to work with and worked with me through all the options. Both never upsold me and provided the right feedback for me to get the wedding we dreamed of! They go through all the options and selections that you need for the wedding. Karla introduced me to a contracted photographer who I loved! Yvett also introduced me to the spa for my wedding make up and it was very easy and affordable. The resort itself was perfect and wonderful. We enjoyed our 5 day stay and our guests had a wonderful time. The food was great. Sometimes the japanese restaurant was a bit slow because of the sheer number of items on their menu. Other than that I loved all the food we ate over our 5 day stay. They give you plentiful bottled water, treats, and everything to your hearts desire! Can't wait for our next stay!

Yelp
I really wanted to love Garza Blanca, badly. I dreamed of a family vacation with amazing food, service, and just time to be present with my kids. I attempted to reach the hotel a couple times and no one has responded so here I am. The service at Garza Blanca is average along with the food. The ambiance is gorgeous and the beach is beautiful, I've stayed in Cabo numerous times and highly recommend Cabo overall. It was hard to get a fork, a plate, add anything on to our meals. Anything I asked for was forgotten and there were two occasions where my kids didn't even get their meals so we waited and asked, and waited. Nothing. The other experiences were very meh, our food would come out in either 90 minutes or 3 minutes. None of the food was ever hot, always cold. Even at the breakfast buffet which is the only breakfast restaurant it's a total money grab, a long line of fruit, a small area of hot bar (where nothing is hot) and a big area of pastries. A five star resort? Not exactly. We ate at Hiroshi the last night and finally had a good meal. I exclaimed to the manager that it was a good experience and promised to write him and his staff an excellent review- our dinner staff were wonderful. Too bad I ended up with food poisoning and could barely get home the following day. I didn't eat anything the next morning, ended up vomiting the rest of the day, needed a wheelchair at the airport because I was severely dehydrated and needed to get back to the US. Horrific experience overall. When we initially got to the resort (we were a huge group of 17 people) we started planning a trip to Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta and thank GOD I didn't book it. No one has even called me back from Garza Blanca Los Cabos. Do yourself a favor and stay at Pueblo Bonito or a kid friendly resort with better service and food that won't attempt to kill you.

Yelp
There are now 2 separate Yelp listings for this resort - so you should probably check both. This was not my first time staying here (nor at a Tafer/Garza Blanca property), so I thought I knew what to expect - but was still surprised by a few things (including that the resort did not seem to be anywhere near "full capacity").. The entrance and lobby are actually on the 5th floor - as is also the "travel agency" - but most other places you will want to go will either be above (like the gym, tennis court, spa, or the rooftop) or below (like the market/deli, most restaurants, pools, and beach access). There are elevators and stairways in different areas on each floor so the one closest to where you are at any time might not always be the same one you used to get there. The elevators make a very loud annoying sound when doors open. Most places you will want to go are around the corner and down a hallway from the elevators or stairs - so check signs on the wall for which direction to go. While you can enter the ocean in front of the hotel, the waves are often fairly big, so better would probably be to walk (or drive) north a ways to the much calmer Chileno Beach area. Most guests probably prefer (one or more of) the resort's many pools - or maybe even time in the spa's "wet area" (where you can even be "massaged" by your own personal "waterfall"). The showers in the room are nice but even the handheld shower head option doesn't pulse or have sufficient water flow to "massage" you. A massage at the spa is pretty pricy. Comparable bodywork in a much less fancy environment can be found in (either) town for MUCH less. Unlike many other resorts, you won't have to worry about having or having to pay for water. Not only will there be bottles waiting for you in your room, but they will be replaced if used. If you are a coffee "snob", you might be happy to try the various flavor options for your tiny cup. Personally, I'd prefer a less fancy machine that produced an entire pot (that I could drink from a mug). Any coffee, "creamer", and sweeteners used will be replaced at not charge - but If you consume anything else in the room, there will be a charge (higher than if you bought it at the resort market - and much more than if you got it in town), so keep that in mind. There is also (free) water (and apples) available in the gym. I was assigned not just a personal "concierge" but 2 "majordomos" (one during the day and the other during the night - who reminded me each shift change that they were eager to help me in whatever way they could. I finally found one small service for one of them to provide, but didn't really need much from the resort). While I did participate in a few resort activities, I mostly went into town or stayed in my room (which did not have a spectacular view but did allow me to see the pool and beach "usage"). I only sat in the balcony hammock once and did not use the bathtub - nor the the toilet control. The toilets seats have a sensor and will warm prior to you sitting. They also for some reason make noise at night even when no one is near. The balcony curtains and black out shades are motorized and controlled by switches near the bed(s). But the bedside clock has a light that is SO bright that even covering it with a towel will NOT result in a dark room. IF you need it to be dark in order to sleep, consider either bringing and using eye shades or unplugging the clock. Most of the resort staff seem very friendly; not just willing, but actually wanting to "serve" me. Many seemed delighted and to become more talkative when they realized they could do so with me in Spanish. Many, with whom I hadn't previously interacted, seemed to know/use my name. I'm not a "recognizable celebrity"; so I assume they are "briefed" on who is staying on property and expected to check guest lists for initial arrival times and/or who is in the room. Nightly "turn down service does not include clean up (other than empty any trash) but will replace or add any towels or whatever else is desired. A chocolate "treat" is also provided. If you have a do not disturb sign on the door, a card will be placed on top letting you know to call if you need anything. But once they have skipped your room, even if you call, don't wait up for anyone to come back - even after being told that they have been notified you desire it.

Yelp
Garza Blanca is a beautiful resort and I loved that we opted for the all-inclusive package...we definitely were super pampered and spoiled and needed quite a lot of "adjustments" when we returned home, LOL! Upon arrival, we were greeted with champagne and warm towels. The check-in process was pretty smooth considering the size of our party and the staff helped us with getting our luggages into the rooms. It helped that I did some research prior to visiting - thanks to the warnings about time-share presentations, we immediately shut it down when offered by the concierge staff and insisted on NOT attending even though they kept trying to get us to go. After that, it was smooth sailing the whole week! It's important to know that you HAVE TO make reservations for dinners - this was strange to me since only hotel guests can dine-in...also we learned after the first night (of outdoor dining) to ALWAYS get an inside table because the weather is SO humid...it's literally impossible to dine comfortably outside (not to mention all the bugs that are attracted to the candlelights). We basically took advantage of all the amenities the resort had to offer and had a wonderful time. I'm glad we gave Cabo a try and even more glad that Garza Blanca turned out to be pretty amazing! Definitely would recommend this place and also wouldn't mind coming back again for the all-inclusive experience!

Yelp
In Cabo by the corredor...The worst experience at a resort we have ever had! The floors are spotless but... watch for careless finishing touches as accidents (3) were happening throughout the day... When slipping and getting hurt and taken to a doctor's office, besides the damage to ourselves, we were charged, just for visiting it. No one in the resort answers a call or takes responsibility... or at least a kind "I am sorry." Guest relations are a "zero to the left" in Spanish "cero a la izquierda"no value. The receptionist at the front desk - very unfriendly. At the pools the jets are so strong, two of my family had bruises on their legs. What a waste of a vacation!!!! "Horror in Disguise." Positive.... The food is good and the waiters are wonderfully helpful and friendly. Kudos to the Japanese restaurant! excellent food and wonderful attention.

Testing Y.

Yelp
They overcharged us significantly and were extremely uncooperative, unwilling, unprofessional and rude. They are unreasonable and did not remove the charge - I had to dispute it with my credit card. The leadership team, Julio at the front desk was not helpful at all and should not be on the LT team. I will never go back - so much time and energy spent (hours) without any resolution as they lack basic customer service skills.

Yelp
We recently stayed with Garza Blanca Cabos, from May 7-13, 2024 . We had a relaxing vacation . The food was very good , the staff kind and attentive . The room was very nice & clean . The many swimming pools were terrific! The gym was extremely updated with fantastic equipment . Nothing but good things to say . We felt safe . The ride from the airport to and from that we booked through Garza was pleasant . We will return . I would prefer only purified bottled water in the room as opposed to filtered glass bottles in the room . We took bottles from the restaurants which I prefer . Great hotel & service !

Yelp
Garza Blanca is such a lovely place. The hotel is pristine, nicely decorated, the view is amazing, the food is not too bad either. Every single staff member is respectful, helpful in every way possible and most importantly, they are genuine. From people at the entrance, to the valet guys, the servers, housekeepers, staff at the spa, just everyone in general. Shoutout to, Valeria, Edgar, Giovanni, and I wish I remember everyone's names we came across and assisted us but my memory fails me. We had an amazing time here and we wouldn't have if not for the staff members. They're what makes this place great. Thank you all for your hard work, and your good heart.

Yelp
The worst place I have ever stayed in Mexico. Nothing like the other Taffer resorts. The restaurants are poor quality. Food poisoning and they tried to defend uncooked chicken. Several issues with the room, no hot water. Failed to respond to issues, or requests. So called "butler" service they try but are limited since they have to cover 30 rooms. Overall arrogance with management and they do not care about the guest experience. Terrible I do not recommend this place, too many other amazing properties in Cabo.

Yelp
Doesn't get much better than this. Your choice of all inclusive or not when you book the hotel. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly and great, the beach, the view, our room... all excellent. The vibes from the guests were also great and there were 4 weddings happening at the hotel while we were there, which added to the fun crowd during the night and day. I will be staying here when I go back to Cabo. Again... excellent food - which I didn't expect at an all inclusive hotel. Highly recommend their rooftop adults only pool, the Japanese restaurant at the hotel, and the food trucks on the beach. They also have a steakhouse and Mexican restaurant at the hotel that we didn't get to try.

Yelp
This resort is AMAZING. My husband and I have traveled all around the world and this was the most luxurious, most beautiful resort we have ever visited. From check in where they greet you with a cool towel and a glass of champagne (would I like another? why, yes I would!) to the butler who drew my bath one night (for real!) there was just no limit to the service. It was kind of ridiculous. When you go to the pool, there are plenty of empty seats (no competing for a chair!) and the attendants come out of nowhere to set up your towel, your umbrella, and bring you ice water. We were in the pool when my husband finished a bottle of water, he set the empty bottle on the side of the pool so he could throw it out when we got out, and two seconds later he asked me "Where did my bottle go?" The stealthy pool attendants strike again! We never sat at the beach (no time! too much to do!) but the same attendants were out there working their magic too. Our room was beautiful, with a huge bathtub, a heated toilet seat, bidet, a hammock on the deck, a comfortable bed, there really were no flaws. A Nespresso machine, a pretty big mini bar fridge, really everything you could need. And you can ask for anything, any time. The spa? Seriously, the best massage of my life. Then we followed it up with the hydrotherapy circuit - sauna, jet tubs, etc. Even just hanging out in the spa eating a pear and mixed nuts was total bliss. We got a fantastic deal on a suite through TravelZoo. I'm pretty sure we couldn't afford to stay here at the regular rates. You do not have to do a timeshare presentation (sorry, a "resort ownership presentation") but when you check in, they will have someone who tries to talk you into attending one. My advice is to hear her out and see what perks they have to offer. Would I give up a few hours of my vacation for a free margarita? No. Would I give up a few hours of my vacation for $600 in spa services... I'm listening, what else you got... snorkeling? food and beverage package? photographer session? Alright, yeah, give me your best sales pitch. One advantage of the timeshare presentation is that you get to see the fanciest rooms - so I know what to look forward to when I hit the lottery. Bottom line, Garza Blanca is paradise. It may have spoiled me from all other hotels forever. I could gush all day about how spectacular this resort is, but you really just have to see it for yourself. I hope I'll be back some day!

Yelp
Came here because of a time share presentation for events in Los Cabos. The hotel is beautiful. They have a roof top pool and bar area that is amazing. The staff up here give great service, drinks, food, and recommendations on what to do. The restaurant here and other pools are breathe taking. I would stay at this place if it was not so expensive.

Yelp
This was my first all in inclusive vacation and I'm never looking back! First of all, the staff at Garza Blanca are EXCEPTIONAL . From the concierges to the butlers and housekeeping, they truly make your vacation worth your while. I have never received such top tier service in America, I was genuinely blown away. The restaurant's were all great, I believe we we were able to try 3 out of 4. Make sure you make reservations for dinner because they fill up pretty quickly but even if you're unable to get a reservation, there is 24/7 room service so you can order food from the convenience of your room anytime! They also have the most wonderful flute player during brunch and around in the lobbies. They truly make your stay relaxing and serene. There are a number of pools in the main area but I rather the adult rooftop pool! As you can imagine we had a greattt time! The drinks were smooth but definitely strong so drink responsibly! There's so much to say about this resort but honestly you'd just have to experience it yourself! Los cabos will definitely see me again and that's mainly because of this place. Terrific job! As always, follow my foodie Instagram for more! @TreatsOfTexas

Yelp
One year ago today, May 10th 2021, I stayed at the Garza Blanca Resort and Spa in Los Cabos, Mexico, with a girlfriend of mine. We thought it would be a safe hotel for two young women, traveling alone. We travel alone all the time. The day before we left, we went to the rooftop pool for a swim and then went back to our room for a nap before heading to dinner. I slept on the couch in the living room area of the suite. I awoke to a Garza Blanca housekeeping attendant raping me. I recognized him by his green, housekeeping shirt. I froze in terror. When I did open my eyes to show him that I was awake, he ran out of the room. I got up and looked out the peep hole and he was still standing by my door holding onto his housekeeping cart. I grabbed a butcher's knife from the kitchenette in the hotel room and woke up my friend who was sleeping in the bedroom. I was hysterical trying to explain to her what had just happened. She immediately called the front desk and asked to speak to the hotel manager. The hotel confirmed that the man was a housekeeping attendant and that he lied about being in our room. He claimed he was only in our hotel room for a few seconds, but then left once he saw that I was asleep on the couch. But the data from his key card showed that he had been in our room for more than six minutes. The hotel staff could not have handled the situation worse. I told them I wanted to go to the police station to make a formal report but the manager told me that the police station was "scary" and that it "wasn't like America" and I shouldn't go. It took 3 hours for the police to even show up. It was clear they had no interest in helping me. Then, the VERY NIGHT I was raped, hotel staff tried to get me to sign a legal document releasing the hotel from all liability for the rape committed by its employee in exchange for my room to be comped and an additional free 6 night/7 day all-inclusive stay at any of the Tafer Hotels and Resorts in Mexico. I refused to sign the document, but they insisted on speaking to us over breakfast the next morning. The next morning, they again pressured me into signing the legal release. The fact that the hotel expected me to sign a release in the aftermath of a vicious rape was shocking. I refused to sign the release. Once I returned home, I repeatedly tried to contact the resort and its owner and operator, Tafer Hotels and Resorts, to find out the status of the arrest of the rapist and to figure out what they might need from me for any investigation. But the hotel refused to even return the phone calls or emails. They again offered me a free, future stay at one of their resorts. I was beyond insulted. This wasn't about a free hotel stay - this was about my health and safety. I refused the trip. It is hard to explain how devastating this experience has been for me. There are many horrific details from that night I am leaving out for the sake of this review and length. Garza Blanca hired a sexual predator and was never held accountable for what happened to me. I recorded every conversation that happened for documentation. When I got home and had it translated, it was heartbreaking to hear the complete disrespect and lack of empathy they had towards me and the situation that happened on their property. My lawyers tried to contact them but because Garza Blanca Resort is owned by Tafer Hotels and Resorts, a Mexican company, we had no jurisdiction and the hotel can't face any legal consequences by not responding. I understand there are bad people everywhere. Mexico will always be one of my favorite places to travel, but knowing what I know now, I will only be staying in resorts that have affiliates in the United States. In the unfortunate event that something like this happens again, I would feel better knowing the hotel is required to right their wrong. This experience left damaging effects that I will continue to deal with for the rest of my life. It took me a year to gain the courage to share my story and write this review. I would hate myself if I let any more time pass without trying to have my voice heard. I will never stay at another Tafer Hotel and Resort Property again and highly recommend you don't either.

Yelp
It's the worst resort I've stayed at in Mexico. The pools close early, there is no A/C in the halls, and the service from all staff members is horrible. We met a party at the pool that shared a similar experience and that items and money were missing from their room. They made me feel unwelcome and unhappy to be serving us. We scheduled reservations for every night while here, and one night, they said we didn't have our reservation, and they said we didn't have it and suggested just ordering room service, which wasn't good at all every time I ordered; something was wrong or missing. I wouldn't come back here if it were free.

Yelp
I went to Cabo with my parents and it was our first time in Mexico! I have to say I am blown away by Garza Blanca. Hospitality is A+, the staff are so kind and have the best smiles and service! From laying out towels on the beach/poolside chairs to setting up the beach umbrellas to ensure we weren't sunburnt, the staff really focused on the little details that made us feel so pampered and relaxed! I bought the all-inclusive package for 4 days 3 nights, and to be honest I wasn't expecting much. However, what you get is so much more. We had food and drinks at every turn, easy access to a top-notch gym, and front row seat at the ocean view! I have to say the experience will also depend on what you're looking for - we came here wanting for a secluded getaway with no crowds and no partying, just purely relaxing and enjoying the resort amenities. We stayed at the resort during our entire stay and didn't feel the need to book any tours and spa - the whole experience was satisfying enough! Though at night they started to blast music until 12am/1am, it didn't bother us too much as we were fast asleep. Now onto my favorite parts of the stay: beach and gym. The beach wasn't crowded at all and it's probably because the water is dangerous to swim in, but that made watching the crashing waves and occasional sea life that much more satisfying! I could stare at that view all day (and actually spent a couple hours each day doing so). Sunset looked different everyday, the ocean and the sky were just beautiful! On my last day I woke up at 6:30am to sit at the beach and watch the sunrise - it was absolutely mesmerizing. As for the gym, I am not one to enjoy exercising, but it was necessary after eating SO much food! We hit the gym every day and having seen many hotel gyms, I have to say this is the best one yet: just the right amount of air conditioning, cold and refreshing drinks after the workout, high quality treadmill & training machines, and they even have cold towels. Now onto the food: overall not bad. The quality of food is not consistent but if you are selective the food can be quite enjoyable. Blanca Blue: came here for breakfast & lunch. Breakfast was great - wide selections of fruits, cold foods, hot foods, oatmeal, fruit & green juices, made-to-order omelette, quesadilla, and egg benedict section. We loved ordering a cup of cappuccino every morning. For lunch, we've tried the steak tacos (much better here than at poolside), pork tacos (juicy pork but overpowering flavor), shrimp pesto spaghetti (al dente to my liking, shrimp on the salty side), seafood rice (probably the best dish here, the octopus is good!), tomato burrata (just ok), grilled catch of the day (seabass, overcooked), chocolate dessert (this was like a chocolate brick, would not recommend), and flan (too sweet for me). Poolside & Beach Food Truck: we ordered tacos (shrimp, fish, and steak) and a chicken caesar salad here, and it was a mistake! The shrimp was very salty, the fish was overcooked, the steak had a strange aftertaste. The salad also tasted stale. We ended up not trying other things on the menus. Bocados Steak House: dinner only. We've had Caesar Salad (yum, we got it twice!), grilled shrimp (way too salty), dry aged ribeye (parents both ordered medium but one was way overcooked), 8oz tenderloin (this was solid, just the right amount), sauteed asparagus and mushrooms (both good), grilled salmon (yum but had to ask to cook all the way through). Hiroshi Restaurant: dinner only. I'd recommend sticking with their individual nigiri pieces. The sushi/sashimi cannot compare to omakase quality but they weren't bad. For dessert we got the green tea ice cream (very good!), japanese cake (chiffon cake), and coconut cake (this was our favorite). Overall, highly recommend this resort if you're looking for a relaxing and intimate getaway!

Yelp
This was my first time in Cabo and we stayed here for three nights. The rooftop pool/bar is nice. All around the food is not good. They shut the water off from 11pm-8:30am and even still there was no hot water and the water pressure was next to none. For the price of the resort, you would think they would shut the water off during the night when people are asleep. The resort with all inclusive is not cheap so I was highly disappointed. The room is nice besides our sink being completely clogged and not working. Do not recommended visiting in September as it is really hot and humid. Maybe other resorts are nicer but I will not be back to Cabo.
