We had a large family gathering here, based on helpful recommendations from Toytown Munich:

We had a number of rooms in the apartment annex, which worked out well. We also had a couple of rooms in the nearby Hotel Biederstein, run by the same proprietor. That hotel had larger rooms, and a larger breakfast room, although not quite as quaint.
They had wifi, but it wasn't working. Information about laundry facilities would have been a helpful addition to the guest handbook. They were very helpful with umbrellas when it rained during out stay.
Breakfast was pretty good, an extra 4.5 euros above the room charge, with further charges for orange juice and eggs.
