This hotel is impressive for several reasons, the first being its beautiful location high up in the mountains, surrounded by waterfalls and offering stunning views. The rooms are very well maintained, clean, and cozy. It has ample parking (be careful when entering and exiting, as it is next to a busy road). The bathroom is shared but was very clean and well maintained. There are not many rooms, so fewer people will use the bathroom. The bathroom has a lock, the shower is very good, and so are the other amenities. The room has a little bit of everything, is well heated, and is very comfortable to sleep in. Towels, a hair dryer, etc. are provided. Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator, and check-in is done in the restaurant. (This is not a criticism, just information.) In conclusion: I recommend staying at this hotel. It offers good value for money, everything is well maintained, clean, and cozy, with wonderful views. Overall, everything is very good. We would definitely stay here again.

We only stopped by this restaurant because my kids urgently needed to use the toilet. We were completely fine with paying, but there was a misunderstanding—I thought it was 1 franc for both kids, but later was told it’s 1 franc per child. Instead of politely clarifying, the waitress was shockingly rude. She told us to either pay 2 francs or take the money back and leave (with a stern voice). No manners, no apology, no empathy. What makes it worse is that the restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time. So what excuse is there for such an attitude? A simple explanation delivered with basic courtesy would have resolved everything. Instead, the whole interaction left a very bad impression. This is not about the small amount of money—it’s about customer service and respect. Staff like this damage the restaurant’s reputation. Serious improvement in customer service is badly needed.

This is a lovely small hotel, Great rooms even for small family. Welcome service and a very good restaurant. Stay there for 3 nights and wish we could stay for more. We will come back.

The room was lovely and the staff was very accommodating, letting us leave our bags overnight in between stays elsewhere and helping us deal with a food allergy. The location was a bit more out of the way than I first thought from the website, but we enjoyed it a lot! It cleared up on the last day and the views were beautiful!

The bed was comfy and the room was cozy. Beautiful view yet slightly out of the way. However, the main disappointment was the extremely rude member of staff that quite literally slapped her thighs and rolled her eyes because we arrived at 20:00 instead of our estimated arrival time of 23:00.

Unless you love rude customer service and being treated poorly (and paying a lot for it), I would highly suggest AVOIDING this place. There are so many wonderful, understanding and kind people in the area that you could stay at instead than this one. Unless once again, you love being treated poorly on your holidays.

I needed to use the toilet urgently while I was in the way, the chef lady was extremely rude with us and she asked us to pay in order to use the bathroom. It is fine with me to pay but she could be polite while saying that! That’s not accepted.. she wanted my mom and I to pay while my mom didn’t use the toilet!

If you see this restaurant on your way to the Falls, just continue on not worth stopping. Food is OK at best. And way over Price for what you get everything tasted frozen and then they just propped it up in the microwave and gave it to the guest. The views are incredible tourist just go to the gas station down the street.
