First impression was positive - cozy and warm, good location, friendly staff. But unfortunately our room had a strong smell of cigarettes and one of the beds was broken in the middle (I slept like in hammock) 😞 Also churfhbells are very loud at 6 o'clock:(

It's an ok hotel. It's basically self-service, with your key waiting for you on a table upon arrival and you leave it there when departing. There's a bell that you can ring if you need service. The location is good, on the main street and about 10 minutes to the train station on foot. Breakfast was basic but fine. One half of the large bed had a sink hole, the other half was good. No elevator, no fridge, no safe, no tissues, tiny TV with many, many stations. I didn't have any problems, but for $200+ per night, I wouldn't return.

What a great stay! The owners are lovely people and very helpful. They speak English, and were fun to chat with. The room was clean every day, and the breakfast included was high quality. The restaurant is also tasty. My one point of critique is that the shower head wouldn’t stay in place and kept falling down. I had to hold it to keep it up high. Very convenient access to the Gurschenbahn, so it is an excellent place to stay for a ski vacation. It’s also a short walk from the train station and town center for easy access to rail and the rest of the resort. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Andermatt. I will be back again!

We spent 3 days at this amazing hotel. Everything was perfect. Very clean and cozy rooms, just 1 minute from the gondola of gemstock. The staff and the owners were absolutely amazing, kind, and helpful. They make you feel like home! Last but don’t least the hotel has an amazing restaurant that serves delicious dishes. Highly recommended!!

Wish I was able to spend more time in Andermatt, such a charming town. This hotel provided simple and cozy accommodation for our group. Dinner was very nice and homey. Such a pleasant stay, good area to walk around and enjoy the city.

What a perfect place to stay in Andermatt! Conveniently located to walk anywhere in town. Lovely hosts. A nice gear room to store your skis and boards in. Rooms are ample and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included in the stay and was quite delicious. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed in a family room, which was split into 2 sections with beds in each and a TV in one section. The beds were comfortable enough for us to sleep in.|For what we paid, the bathroom was very small with the shower being 70cm2 with a shower curtain.|Breakfast was a continental breakfast which had enough foods to give us a good start for the day.|The hotel also features a bar and restaurant. The choice of meals and prices of the restaurant didn't suit us, so we ate dinners in other restaurants in Andermatt.

If you are smoker who stays up late, this is the hotel for you. People were awake smoking, chatting and occasionally yelling until 2:00 am. If you opened the window, you smelled smoke and heard the sounds. If you closed the window you sweltered. The hotel is clean with a good location. Andematt is a quaint little town.
