On the way to Italy I had planned a stopover in Landeck. Searching for biker friendly places, I came across Gasthof Greif. A nice and cozy room, a tasty dinner and great breakfast. There was even a very nice garage to place my motorcycle in! And the surroundings are very nice.

3rd time in the Landeck area. What a find. 6 guys on motorbikes for 5 nights. Garage for the bikes, large bedrooms, good food, eat out or in, staff superb, even got a washing done. Can't praise highly enough. Next time in Landeck this is the choice for us. :-)

We had dinner at this hotel and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a calm place to eat traditional meals you ought to visit here. You can sit comfortably outside and view the square. The service was fine and the food was delicious, they make an effort for a good presentation on the plate. Certainly worth a visit!

We came here specifically for the Wiener Schnitzel made from veal. It was not the best we have had but still decent. It included a nice small salad beforehand too. It was good value for money and the staff were friendly. Overall I would recommend.

We didn't stay at this place but had a relaxing out door lunch at their restaurant. The ambience, food and service were all excellent. We saw lot of locals dining at this place and surely that's a sign that the place is genuine. The owner lady was paying special attention to the customers. We had schnitzel with green salad, mushroom omelet with potato salad and apple strudel all of which were excellent.

Three of us stayed at Gasthof Greif for a short ski trip over New Year's for 4 nights. It was difficult to get accommodation that wasn't exorbitantly priced for that time of year at the last minute in the main resorts. We wanted to ski in St. Anton or Ischgl so we decided to stay in Landeck which is 30 minutes (valley ascent to Ischgl) and about 20 on the motorway to St.Anton. People with families wanting to take it easy could avail of skiing in Venet, the resort in the town, it just didn't have enough variety for us. We booked our accomodation by email, and everything was efficient and helpful.||||The guesthouse is high up in the town about 3 minutes walk from the main shopping street down steps. Parking was no problem either.||||We arrived tired and late to a warm welcome. The traditional building has a number of areas to relax - wifi in a small tv room, a nice cosy bar and a larger restaurant. Not wanting to go far, we ended up eating in the very tasty and reasonably priced restaurant there which also had live music for New Year's eve. The staff were efficient and friendly. Meat mains were about €12 and really good, some steak options were a bit more but also very tasty. The bar was handy for a pre-dinner drink/nightcap. There was no smoking in the restaurant, the only negative was the bar could be a little smoky but that's probably just because we're used to a smoking ban at home.||||Breakfast was the usual selection of bread, ham, cheese, eggs, juice tea/coffee. We really enjoyed staying here, everyone was helpful, the service was good, the rooms were excellent and spotlessly clean. Couldn't really ask for more. A double room was €71 for the night B&B. At the last minute one of our friends dropped out and they only charged a single supplement on the second room for one person rather than the full rate, which was exceptionally good as we expected to be charged in full for two people.||||For us the only reason we wouldn't be back here every year was the location, within Landeck town it was well placed, but it did mean travelling to the bigger ski resorts which was the purpose of our visit.||||Overall, thumbs up and if we're looking for a New Year's trip again we would happily stay here.

Came across this family run guest house during our summer visit to Landeck and decided that it would be ideal to return to for our longer winter holiday. |The staff have little English but try hard to be understood ( better than our German ), the hotel is situated within short walking distance to the town centre and the view from our balcony was spectacular of the mountains. The Room was very comfortable and met our needs, very clean. |Breakfast is cold buffet, coffee good and hot.|Evening meals, spot on, good value and great quality and consistent. |This guest house is ideal for your Tyrolean adventures, summer or Winter.

We stayed here for new year as we wanted to ski in St Anton and Ischgl. Landeck was extremely quiet and about half an hour to Ischgl and 20 minutes to St Anton. Hotel is in the town located high up. A no frills hotel with a lovely rustic feel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a lovely restaurant that was very well priced. Also a nice bar to relax in. Rooms were spotless and had all the essentials. Breakfast was standard fare. Would stay here again for ease of access to the mountains. Superb value for money as well.
