Gastrohotel RH Canfali

An excellent boutique hotel located in the old-town area, tucked away from the crowds. |Rooms are large, stylish, clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine and fridge. Bathrooms are also stylish with good showers.|The lobby area has some seating, as does the rooftop area, offering wonderful views and even a jacuzzi. ||It’s called a Gastrohotel and for good reason, the food is exceptional! ||I booked half-board and would strongly recommend you do too.|The restaurant, D-Vora, is a real treat, especially when there’s so much poor quality cuisine in Benidorm. It also has a balcony area outside, offering a wonderful view of the main beach.| |For breakfast you have a choice from an à la carte menu, with all food being fresh, excellent quality and delicious. ||Dinner is where this hotel really excels… half-board guests choose a starter, main and dessert from the standard menu. It is fine-dining and is truly excellent quality - the photos speak for themselves. I found including this with the reservation represented a significant saving over paying for dinner separately.||It’s a really exceptional boutique property which I strongly recommend.

We chose to stay at this hotel for my husbands big birthday, and we are so very glad we did. |Everything about our trip was great, but the hotel and every member of the team made it all the more special, we cannot thank them enough for everything.|First of all, the situation of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for getting out and about, with nothing in front of the building to block the stunning sea view from our terrace.|Our room had everything you could need, was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfy, the pillows (a big deal for me) also super comfy. The shower was awesome. The roof terrace was fabulous, with amazing views all round. The breakfast was delicious, dinner was delicious, the service all round, excellent, friendly and very professional. Myself and my husband have agreed that this has been our absolutely favourite hotel, in all our holidays together, that we have stayed in, and we would definitely like to stay again. Well done to the whole team, and thanks again.|

We stayed here for 5 nights in July and we were so so happy with the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the old town - a 5 minute walk to the beach. The hotel was just fantastic, beautiful views, very clean, nicely decorated and very helpful staff! When we arrived to check in we were given a free room upgrade from ‘window street view’ to ‘balcony with sea view’ - it really made our holiday, we had views of the beach and the sea, it was wonderful to be able to sit out on the balcony and watching the world go by. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, we had questions about the trams and wanting to travel to Altea & Villajoyosa, the man we spoke to told us all we needed to know, which tram to get, where to get it and what we could expect when going to these towns, very knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, super clean, beautiful and perfect location!

The most incredible place! The staff are so attentive, polite and all lovely lovely people. They cannot do enough. Thank you to all the team especially Andrea the amazing cleaner who lined all my glasses and accessories out. Location is perfect in the beautiful Old town. The balcony rooms are a must! We will definitely be back!

This is the second time at this boutique hotel that straddles the old and new of Benidorm. This time I had an amazing room that has a phenomenal balcony overlooking the church and the sea. The staff make this hotel with many good recommendations too. The only slight improvement would be to bring breakfast service forward to 07:30 to violate business travellers and early explorers!

Booked a top-rate hotel hoping for a top-rate experience for a 3 night stay. I booked two rooms. Room 108 single on the first floor was fine, great bed but insufficient space allocated for shower room/WC so washbasin was set up in the bed space which was so very inconvenient. Room 006 double on the ground floor was very poor for the price. The room was outrageously hot as the ac was not working as it should and the room is situated directly above a bar/club making sleep impossible (suggestion to hotel, provide ear plugs). ||The service by everyone involved was excellent and very efficient. ||We only achieved having breakfast at the hotel despite trying for lunch and dinner. We were warned to book in advance when we arrived and should have taken heed. We tried to book in advance but gave only one day notice and that was insufficient. BUT Alameda Gourmet is just a few minutes away and has an amazing menu of the most delicious dishes - a connoisseur's oasis in a tourist tapas area!

After my 4th visit to this wonderful hotel, I'm still in love with it, the location is perfect, excellent standards of comfort and cleanliness, our room was like new everyday.|Reception staff are perfect hosts and very helpful, the restaurant has choice of food thats very good, plentiful and very tasty. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful especially Carmen, Kinga and Maria, who did a great job in looking after us.|The RH Canfali has wonderful views especially from the top floor whilst sitting in the Jacuzzi.|Its easy to walk out into the old town for great architecture, nice bars and restaurants, all very safe and friendly.|We will be back! probably again later this year!|Thanks very much|Dave and Anita Platt|Nottingham England

Wonderful small exclusive hotel in the old town of Benidorm. Perfectly placed for trips to both old and new parts of Benidorm. Lovely position overlooking the sea and on the doorstep of the beautiful Church of St James the Apostle and the Castle ruins.|Staff very friendly and professional with breakfast a relaxed and an enjoyable experience. However, special mention to Carlos on Reception who provided assistance with booking transfers to the airport as well as on the day of departure when we had a late flight.
