Gaststätte Kleiner Olymp, Bremen

We were lucky enough to have a table without a reservation for a limited time on Friday night as the restaurant was completely fully booked. The food was amazing and our waitress was excellent , knowledgeable, friendly and professional . I would return to Bremen for this restaurant alone !!!!

We liked the look of this restaurant and continued walking by, but it began raining and we quickly went back to here. Luckily we had one of the last unreserved tables. Our waitress was really friendly and helped us through the menu. We had superb food and beer.

You caught my attention. I was walking by in the evening and the place really caught my eye — it looked inviting, nicely lit, and open. I went in and spoke to the brunette girl with the bun. I asked if I could have a glass of wine, but she said there were no free tables. I replied that it’s fine, I could just enjoy it at the bar. She said it’s not allowed to drink at the bar. Then I asked if I could sit outside, as there were empty tables there — but she said I couldn’t drink outside either. So, while the staff were polite, and the interior looks beautiful, refusing to serve a guest at all makes this place, unfortunately, a one-star experience for me.

I ordered the French fish soup, and it was very, very simple — I’d even say tasteless. The main course was fish with potatoes, but unfortunately, that was also lacking flavor, especially the side dish. Luckily, there’s salt on the table, so I could at least make it a bit more enjoyable. The restaurant itself looks much prettier and more authentic than the food tastes. However, the waitresses were extremely kind and friendly — they did an excellent job, and I have nothing bad to say about the service.

We were looking for authentic German cuisine for lunch and this restaurant was excellent. The menu had a local selection as well as fantastic dark Pilsner. The service was great and the food delicious.

They kindly gave me a table without a reservation, which I appreciated because I was hungry. I ordered chili prawns as a starter. And for the main course, a pork schnitzel, accompanied by mushrooms and potatoes. Everything was delicious, really tasty. I enjoyed the meal.

Very good food experience in Bremen ! We picked local dishes, which were great. The restaurant room is not large, but it’s not too noisy. Thank you !
