Gaststuben im Zunfthaus der Schiffleute

We stumbled across this after visiting the crooked house and the river and so glad we did! What a find, Nimet greeted us warmly and helped us choose the perfect table (she was perfect for our whole visit). Berg beer was on tap and a favourite from my family who come regularly to Germany (from Australia). Food was delicious and I was offered the leftovers to take home. Can’t wait to come back.

Nice food, ok prices, great location and interior. We saw a water bowl under the chair, so I guess they’re pet friendly!

Food is delicious, i got mine after 5minutes! When asked about amazing speed, waitress just told me- that's Germany😉 place is packed, so get reservations👍 old baen type of look style, staff is great,. Be aware-menu is in German, but i used google photo translator, so all good

One of the nicest local restaurants in Ulm. Germany has so much to offer when it comes to beer and great food, and this is definitely up there with the best of the best. The beer is delicious and the food is very well prepared... At the top range of the best traditional German restaurants I've tried. Definitely recommend.

Great local and regional dishes with a very large beer and drink selection. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and quick! Recommend reservations but also we were seated without reservations.

We saw this restaurant on our tour through Ulm, and once we looked up reviews, it had the best for the area so we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. I had the chicken salad (daily menu) with banana chips. At first I thought it was an odd combination, but I am so glad I got it. Everything melded perfectly and it was really good. Hubs got the schnitzel and spaetzle, which he absolutely loved as well, especially the gravy. The square gets really busy with tourists as the building used to house the boats (learned from our tour) and in the square is a "boat statue". It is a beautiful area and sitting outside (besides it being extremely hot) was quite enjoyable.

We had the Leberspätzlesuppe, Maultaschensuppe, the vegetarian entree (which was great) and the mac-and-cheese. Verdict: very good authentic food, fast and friendly service, nice location and interior. They do have an English menu.
