As a wedding planner who recently did an event at Gather Greene, the venue is nothing short of magical. The Pavilion and the grounds are stunning, beautifully and thoughtfully designed. The cabins are absolutely adorable and drenched in gentle morning light filtering through the trees. What’s even more impressive is how flawlessly it’s run. From the very start, their communication was clear and timely, expectations and guidelines were laid out simply and transparently, and everything unfolded with ease. It truly made my job as a planner so much smoother. If you're looking for a gorgeous, well-managed venue that glows both in ambiance and execution, Gather Greene checks every box.

We had another wedding at Gather Greene for a client this June, and it was gorgeous. The team was helpful and easy to work with, ensuring all details were achieved and the weekend went off without a hitch. The owners are attentive and care tremendously about each clients experience. The venue itself is gorgeous and well maintained, and with great rain plan options no matter the weather there's never a bad weekend at Gather Greene. Love it there, hope to be back again next season!

Gather Greene was the most magical wedding venue. We loved that there were so many different ways to creatively use the space - we had our wedding in the woods among the trees, our cocktail hour on the platform overlooking the valley during golden hour, our dinner and reception in the pavillion, and our after party in the quarry (complete with a fire pit and s'mores!). We loved that the pavillion was a blank canvas that we could adorn exactly how we envisioned it would be, and the outdoor spaces are so beautiful on their own that a bit of floral elements here and there was all they needed to transform into the fairytale venue it became. Gather Greene was the only venue that we toured that allowed outside caterers, which was very important to us, as we had an Iranian wedding and serving Persian food was very important to us. Otherwise, we were very happy with their recommended vendors, and they worked seamlessly with us to make our dream day a reality. The guests raved about the beautiful ceremony site and the cabins. Our wedding was the most special day, and if we had to do it all again we would pick Gather Greene as our venue every single time!

As a wedding filmmaker, I’ve worked at hundreds of venues, but there’s truly nothing like Gather Greene. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a world where nature, design, and intentionality coexist in perfect harmony. The setting is stunning: sweeping views, modern cabins nestled into the woods, and an open-air pavilion that offers an organic yet elevated space for ceremonies and receptions. Every inch of the property is cinematic, it’s impossible to take a bad shot here. But what really makes Gather Greene special are Amna and Jackie. They’re not just owners, they’re artists, visionaries, and hosts in the truest sense. Their care for the property, the couples, and the vendor team is unmatched. They’ve created a space that honors both celebration and creativity, and that makes our job as filmmakers feel less like work, and more like storytelling at its highest level. A wedding here has had this rare magic to it, where couples feel fully at ease, vendors feel trusted, and the entire day unfolds with beauty and intention. We hosted our retreat at Gather Greene, and it was nothing short of magical! ✨ While this stunning spot is often used for weddings, it’s also a hidden gem for team retreats — especially if you’re looking for a peaceful, design-forward space that inspires connection and creativity. There are 17 cozy, beautifully designed cabins, so it’s ideal for a smaller group. We had the entire property to ourselves, which made the experience feel even more special and intimate. Our team used the gorgeous space above the pavilion as a retreat HQ — we set up our laptops, hosted Zoom calls, and had plenty of room for both focused work and collaborative sessions. Lunch was served inside the pavilion, while breakfast and dinner took place on the outdoor deck, which looks out over the trees and rolling hills — absolutely breathtaking. The food? Incredible. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious — a big win with our group. And the staff was phenomenal. From start to finish, they made everything so easy. Tina helped me plan the entire retreat with care and attention to detail, and Amna, Royce, and Anna were onsite making sure every little thing was taken care of. They were so kind, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Each night, we wrapped up the day around a bonfire, complete with s’mores (of course) — it was such a fun, grounding way to end the evenings. If you're considering a retreat that combines nature, comfort, and a touch of luxury, I can’t recommend Gather Greene enough. Our team left refreshed, inspired, and already talking about when we can come back!

Wow!! Where do we even begin?! We feel beyond blessed that we were able to host our wedding weekend at beautiful Gather Greene. From the moment we arrived, everything was fun, beautiful, and logistically smooth!! Outside of the gorgeous space and venues is the most amazing team that goes above and beyond to make your wedding dreams come true! We love GG so much!

We recently got married at Gather Greene and we were genuinely blown away by the venue, the staff, and the entire experience. The team at Gather Greene goes above and beyond throughout the entire wedding planning process, but especially on your wedding weekend, to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. The cabins are idyllic and our guests couldn't get over how romantic of a setting the property is for a wedding celebration. The venue is truly a blank slate for you to transform into whatever your wedding vision may be and the team there will make sure it comes to life. We cannot thank Jackie, Amna, Annalise, and the entire Gather Greene enough for everything they did to make our wedding weekend so special!

From the moment we arrived for my husband's 40th birthday in January, Gather Greene was absolute magic. Stepping out of the car, it was serene. We arrived after dark, with the entire property lit up by bistro lights strung through the woods. Our cabin was spotless, warm, cozy and exactly what we were looking for in our quest for an "un-plugged" weekend surrounded by nature (with the conveniences of running water, heat, and electricity). Management was attentive - out of sight, but ever present and accessible immediately through a quick text. Friday and Saturday nights, they have a bonfire going, with all of the ingredients required for s'more roasting neatly arranged in individual paper bags, next to wooden dowels, and brilliantly, hand wipes for sticky hands. While my husband is a camper, I am most certainly NOT, and I found this experience to be the perfect compromise for both of us. The enormous picture window in the cabin looked out to the woods. It was such a treat to wake up to the pastel colored sky through the trees as the sun rose, and then, after a full day of exploring the area and having a fantastic meal in downtown Hudson, it was lovely to unwind in nature. Would absolutely return for another magical stay.

5 stars is too little, they need like 50 stars! Booked this AMAZING place for our 7th year anniversary as a surprise for my hubby. The drive up here was pretty sweet and in the middle of NO WHERE but close enough to be near little towns like Athens, Catskills and Hudson. From the moment of arrival til departure it was phenomenal. The perfect weather, breeze, environment, EVERYTHING. When you arrive, you drive up to the exquisite pavilion (myyyyy favoriiiiite). The design is just so perfect! This is where you can lounge and hang out in the open and even catch the sunset. Oh ANd you can even get married here like how cool is THAT? Totally getting remarried here right now! It's just THAT amazing. Check in was easy you just make a quick phone call and speak with Jackie and she makes the whole process so easy. Explains what's around and the whole process but truthfully the instructions are so easy from the email that it's hard to miss. With covid and all they're taking even further precautions to ensure all of our safety so that's a total plus. Booked a pet friendly cabin that was just sooooo worth it. It was a pawrrrrfect stay. My pup also gives this a 5 out of 5. Plenty of space to run around in and he too was able to sleep cozy! Everything about Gather Greene was amazing. You truly are able to get away and forget everything: work emails, life, texts, social media, (even Covid) for a moment. If you're looking to find yourself again and enjoy a relaxing weekend, or weeknights, this is the place to come to. Everything was just as described. It's a luxurious, glamp, scandinavian, worry free vibe. The best part is the huuuuuuuge window transporting you to the outdoors. You're literally inside living outside. Best sleep ever. Best experience ever. Best place ever. Such an untouched, hidden little gem far enough from the chaos. Oh, BEST part is they make sure you're coffee fix is taken care of. Pour over packet FTW! Gather Greene is picturesque beyond words. When my now-husband and I started our venue search last year, we got the same vibe from many places we toured - churn and burn wedding mills with a hefty price tag but not a whole lot of that special, 'I want to remember this as the spot where we had the best day of our lives' feel. Then we visited Gather Greene, and before we even got out of the car to meet the venue owners and have a proper look around, we KNEW this was the place we were going to create epic memories at! This venue is so well designed, every little aspect of the sprawling property is intentional and beautiful. So much so that we knew we had to make our wedding event a full weekend, spending as much time at different parts of the property as possible. Over the past year, Jackie and her team made us feel so special, like we were the only couple getting married there. Our wedding weekend far exceeded our wildest dreams and we have no regrets - our advice to any interested couples is to not even give it a second thought - book your memorable event here and you will not be disappointed! We are already looking forward to returning for a nice stay in the cabins once the weather gets a bit warmer. Thank you so much to all the Gather Greene staff for everything - we feel so lucky to have found you and are forever grateful for all that you did to make our special weekend absolutely out of this world.

I had sprained my ankle and have been on bed rest for three weeks. I told my husband to please find somewhere we could get away for a couple of nights. He found Gather Greene and I'm so glad he did! First of all, he called and spoke to Amna, one of the owners. She helped him arrange for the accessible cabin since I was in a walking boot. Amna was super friendly and so helpful. We loved the minimalist feel of the cabin and the beauty of the natural surroundings. We brought some snacks/drinks with us and enjoyed having the mini fridge. There was coffee for the morning and oatmeal if you'd like. Tea is also available. The bed was super comfortable and the whole experience was perfect for us. We will definitely go back!

The owners of Gather Greene are amazing! They were on location during my cousin's wedding to listen to any concerns and suggestions being that the venue is fairly new. The location had gorgeous views which unfortunately I didn't capture. It was such a great open space yet gave the feeling of being indoors once the sun set. The catering company (Lola's of Poughkeepsie) also did a wonderful job and my fiance developed a man crush on Craig the bartender (hope he had a great time with his dad at the Jet game!) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an outdoor venue in upstate NY.

We knew Gather Greene was our venue when we toured it in the absolute pouring rain and still loved it. From the darling tiny cabins on site, the beautiful shale pond, to the absolutely stunning pavilion which is somehow simultaneously minimalist and grand, this place had everything we were looking for. With the slated walls, the pavilion feels like an outdoor space while but still being protected from the elements. There are a ton of other locations on site that are each unique and have their own feel to them, which gives you a lot of options for ceremony/cocktail hour/reception locations, and is super fun for pictures! Your vendors are also going to love Gather Greene; Alma and Jackie really thought of everything when they built this place. Truly this place is magical, and we cannot wait to hopefully go back soon!

Breathtaking location and venue. Sufficient amount of bathrooms, as well! Tip - LAYERED CLOTHING is a must, this is an indoor space that is outdoorsy, and it gets cold even with the awesome space heaters (which can only do so much). ALSO, the water had a strong sulfur taste and smell so bring some bottled water if you need it. We didn't stay in a cabin, but it is definitely a location to consider for a future romantic night. The roads are not lit, so be prepared for some scary driving.
