Gather on Maui is the perfect spot for a destination wedding! We had our wedding here on August 1st with the ceremony at the wedding knoll and reception on the lower lawn. Bella was extremely helpful during the planning process and helped us select food/beverage options. The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Our guests said it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We loved the upside down pineapple cake especially! The setting was so beautiful and the sunset was stunning from the restaurant. It was also conveniently located a few minutes from the beach, where my husband and I were able to capture beautiful sunset photos. The locker rooms were also renovated and pristine with air conditioning. My bridesmaids and I were kept cool before the ceremony. We have already talked about coming back for an anniversary trip next summer! Thank you for hosting us on our special day! 🤍🤍🤍

Google
Great mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The views are perfect for a sunset dinner. The evening we went they had live music, I am not sure if that is a common thing, but it was a nice touch. Not too loud, not too invasive to the meal and ambiance. Fish and steaks were all cooked to perfection, and the staff was welcoming and inviting, fresh is how I would summarize every dish. We will definitely make this a main stay on our list.

We came here after our wedding to enjoy a nice dinner with a gorgeous view and this restaurant over delivered. I can’t even describe how amazing the food was. We had Brussel sprouts and Focaccia bread as our appetizers and they were both impeccable. I also had the vegan risotto which had a creamy yet refreshing taste, I’ve been dreaming about going back just to eat there again! It has a gorgeous view overlooking the ocean and some greenery, we got some very nice family pictures of the view after dinner. If you’re in Maui, do your self a favor and add this restaurant to your list!

Amazing food! Absolutely the best food we had on the island! We were here for a wedding and the food was preselected. We had steak, chicken, fish, mash, veggies.. all of it was incredible! The view was great and the grounds were well taken care of.

Really nice place with beautiful views! I enjoyed my time here. Expect to spend $100+, it’s on the expensive side. The service was just short of 5 stars. I recommend the Mai tai drink it was really nice!

Google
Beautiful location with a view of the manicured grounds and the ocean. We were very happy to be seated at the table with a view of the sunset. We started our culinary adventure with cocktails...Gather Mai Tai, South side Mai Tai (classic Mai Tai) and Old Fashioned. Gather Mai Tai was sweet and delicious with pineapple (says my husband) The classic Mai Tai was my favorite which had a nice balance of flavors. The bread board came with focaccia, crusty outside and soft inside without being oily. Delicious! Caesar salad was presented with anchovies on top in the classic style. It was easy on the garlic but was still good. Entrees: the Seared Ahi Tuna Dashi was perfectly done, with a nice variety of accompaniments in an artful presentation. The Braised Short ribs were also perfectly done. Fallaparty, no knife necessary. Flavor, been told was reminiscent of his Mom's cooking. Nice! My Angus Filet was done perfectly to my request, medium rare. Carrots were cooked soft, yet firm. Mashed potatoes had wonderful creaminess and was nicely seasoned. As the rest of the entrees, beautifully presented. Desserts: Creme Brulee had a perfectly done sugar, crispy but not hard, similar to what can be found in Paris. The custard inside had a Hawaiian flair with a touch of passion fruit. Upside Down Pineapple Cake was delicious but more than I could handle. Jules, our delightful server, was warm and professional. She made us feel right at home. We will definitely go back on our next visit to the island.

We had an unforgettable Valentine's dinner at Gather Maui last night! From the breathtaking view to the exceptional food, everything was perfect. The ambiance set the tone for a truly special evening. We couldn't get enough of the appetizers—each dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. I ordered the Thai Coconut Catch and it was FANTASTIC! The service by Collin was also top-notch, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. It was an experience we’ll cherish, and we can't wait to return for another amazing meal. Highly recommend!

Google
We had a fantastic experience at Gather. From start to finish, the service was thoughtful and welcoming; every staff member made us feel genuinely appreciated, and Diana, our server, was especially kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The evening felt unhurried in the best way, like we were truly being taken care of. The oysters from Washington were outstanding, the ahi poke appetizer was fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails were perfectly made. This spot really delivers on both food and hospitality, highly recommend!!

Yelp
We held our destination wedding dinner at Gather in June and it was an incredible experience. The service was tentative, polite, and friendly. At the lower pond, we felt the ambiance was perfect for our party of 20 with a good mix of privacy and freedom to roam. The views of the ocean, the wonderfully manicured golf greens and tropical foliage enhanced the ambiance and tone for our tropical Hawaiian wedding vacation. Furthermore, the food options were abundant and our selections did not disappoint. The short ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted carrots and fresh catch were delicious, to name a few; and the pineapple upside down cake was the perfect desert. The entire process was smooth and stress free, from the communication to the final day. Gather offered a variety of channels to communicate with their contacts and understand everything they offer to our final selections and confirmation. We highly recommend using gather for your wedding (or any other event), they did not disappoint.

Yelp
We were really looking forward to dining at Gathers but the service we received from our server Diana was disappointing. She was extremely slow to check on us and we ended up going to the bar ourselves just to order drinks. She assumed my mom didn't speak English and started speaking to her in Spanish without asking, which felt condescending. She also carded my brother twice even after verifying his age, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary. What made things worse was when she scolded my dad for ordering a drink for my cousin who had just stepped away to use the restroom. The food might have been fine but the service left us feeling unwelcome.

Yelp
Lovely evening with gorgeous view, delicious food, and terrific, friendly service from Vinny! I think Gather's mai tai beats Monkeypod's--based on flavor and size. Tip #1: $8 "mai tai Monday"--half price! Husband enjoyed his oysters and monchung entree. My beet salad with goat cheese was the lighter option I craved. Tip #2: Save with coupon from InKind app--also shared with sister restaurant, Hali'imaile General Store.

Yelp
Very kind people work here. The views are unbelievable (I accidentally wrote unbearable before - LOL). And the food is really good! We had a great time here as a family.

Yelp
This is one of the best sunset views. The food was amazing and the ambiance was even better . Our server was very attentive and kind .

Yelp
This place nailed it. The ambiance is amazing, great views and the decor was up to par. We took our time and this place was happy to accommodate. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable, her suggestions were spot on. Cocktails were on point and I recommend the gather mai tai - I am not a coconut guy per se but the coconut lime foam was pretty damn tasty. The bread was some of the best that I've ever had and the spiced butter was also incredible. Cesar salad and shrimp cocktail were good but not earth shattering. I had the Wagyu smash burger - it was great and the fries were crispy. My dining partners had the short ribs (delicious) and the fish special. Unfortunately the fish special was the least tasty thing that we had. Chocolate mouse cake with Mac nuts and salted caramel was divine. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was a wedding reception at a golf course in Waimea. The bar was rather weak and should have been at the inside bar for a better drink; but it was free. so who's complaining. The food was just okay and the fish did not seem as fresh as ocean caught in Hawaii. Apparently the beef was better, but I just went with the flow and had the fish. I would not really consider this location for a vacation dinner, but it worked for a small wedding reception...

Yelp
We loved our dinner at Gather on Maui. The setting is amazing! It's on a golf course with views of the ocean. Doesn't get better than that. Our food was very good. The Mai tai was good, and I also had a really nice bubbly rose. For appetizers my sons had Maui style ahi that was beautifully presented. They enjoyed that. I ordered Chef Paul's focaccia with seasonal butter, and I highly recommend it. The bread was warm and fresh, and the butter was seasoned with tomatoes. Just wonderful. There was a very flavorful Brussels sprouts appetizer that we also enjoyed. I had the garden salad and it was fine. Not really outstanding though. One son had the seared ahi, the other the uala fresh catch of the day. Both were happy with their choices. I ordered their mushroom risotto as it was the only vegetarian option entree. It was just okay. Dessert was wonderful. We shared the pineapple upside down cake and chocolate cake. Both were luscious. The favorite parts of dinner were the wait staff, surroundings, bread, and dessert. I'd like to see more vegetarian options, but so far, most Maui restaurants have not had many options to choose from.

Yelp
Sunday January 19th , 2025 5:30 pm We sat at the bar and had great service from Kelsey. The food is Amazing!! Live music was lovely. This is one of my favorite restaurants all over the world. Even nicer that our home is across the street. Mahalo!

Yelp
Came for happy hour on a Sunday. Made a reservation for 3pm and were promptly seated on the lanai with a beautiful view of the grassy golf course down to the ocean. We were told we had a 2hr time limit as the lanai tables are reserved for dinner starting at 5 but that worked perfectly for us. The view was amazing! Had the strawberry spritz (or something like that)--it was a special mocktail with strawberry and thyme--interesting and tasty. Hubby had the mai tai which had a delicious honey lilikoi foam on top. One kiddo had a burger and fries from the kids menu, the other had hurricane fries. Hubby and I shared the green salad, ribs, and nachos. Food was overall ok--nachos had a high chip to topping ratio so had to be somewhat sparing with the toppings and still had a lot of empty chips leftover. Ribs were tender but also quite sweet. Salad was light and refreshing. Kids topped it off with the kid cookie and ice cream--one kid liked it the other felt meh about it as the cookie was not warm. Would def go back for the views (5/5), and food was still pretty good but more like 3.5/5.

Yelp
We had the best happy hour time here. The food, service and drinks were all top notch. There wasn't one thing that we didn't enjoy. The views can't be beat. You must go to this spot. I want to come back for their dinner service next trip!

Yelp
IMHO We've discovered another Maui gem, "Gather on Maui for food and drink" at the Wailea Golf Club. We knew that Gather was a sister restaurant with Hali'imaile General Store, and wanted to give Gather a try. While researching Gather, my husband discovered an In-Kind app that offered $50 off $150 of your dining purchase. In Maui, that is very easy to do, so we made a reservation. I knew that I wanted a reservation time that was close to sunset, since Gather boasts gorgeous sunset views. We had a beautiful patio table overlooking the lush golf course. My hubby knew that it was Mai Tai Monday here at Gather for only $8! Yes, he eventually ordered two of them for himself! While waiting for our drinks, I rushed down to take pictures of the majestic sunset, and I wasn't the only one! My best sunset picture of our trip was taken at Gather! We ordered a yummy Kung Pao calamari dish, $24, and jumbo shrimp cocktail $26, for appetizers. Hubby ordered the Chef special Thai Taro catch-of-the day, $52, and I loved my Pancit Noodle w/fresh catch, $54. Portions were very generous which meant we were taking leftovers back to our resort. We were so full that we declined to have dessert. Bridget, our kind server said, "Does that mean you don't want the complimentary anniversary dessert we have for you?" Well, you can bet we didn't say no to that! She thoughtfully had it packed to take home with us! Thank you Gather for a memorable and delicious evening! We will definitely return again one day!

Yelp
We went a little late and missed the sunset. Which is said to be amazing from here. Going during the week, it was not particularly crowded The shrimp cocktail was good. I liked the spicy cocktail sauce. Personally I thought the menu was a little sparse. And I was having a hard time finding something that I wanted to eat. We had the mushroom risotto which my wife liked. I had the scallops and crab orzo. It was good. It wasn't great in my opinion. I feel like there was no crab or crab flavor in orzo sauce. On a different note, they make their own tonic water. It could have been good in my gin and tonic but I found it flat

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely Wednesday evening sitting on the patio watching the sunset and the stars come out. While they were not 100%, the patio was full as everyone opted to enjoy the outdoors. Understandably so, why wouldn't you? It's Hawaii and the weather was perfect, and the sun was setting. It was stunning. While they take reservations (and you should make a rez); they cannot guarantee a patio table. The menu is creative and a good mix of land and ocean proteins plus they offer chef daily specials as additional options. They make notes on their menu which dishes can be gluten free, vegan or vegetarian. We opted for a couple of the chef specials. One being the exceptional salad starter that was more than adequate for the 2 of us. The other being the Pork Belly and Kimchi dish where the pork belly was super savory but balanced by the tang of the kimchi. The other dish we enjoyed thoroughly was the Pancit w/ Fresh Catch. This hit all the comfort food notes for me because pancit has a special place in my memories. (My grandmother made it often while I was growing up.) The fish was perfectly prepared and paired great with the pancit and seasonings. I'd go back just for this dish alone.

Yelp
Oh geez, my hopes were so high. The views, epic. The space, gorgeous. Service, pretty slow. I ordered my 10 month old a chicken breast immediately upon sitting and it was the very last thing to be brought out... maybe 40 minutes later. The short ribs were delicious, but lukewarm. The $50 umami ahi was totally cold (maybe on purpose) but essentially a hummus plate. The oysters were fresh and delicious. Prosecco, had to return. Ugh! So sad. Seriously incredible view and based on the reviews I read to bring me here.. maybe my experience was a one off. Seems family friendly, there were a ton of kids. Not sure if I would have enjoyed that had I been without kids but it is what it is. Plenty of space to avoid kids I suppose

Myrna K.

Yelp
Food, service, and location were wonderful - satisfying in every way. A special for me (a bread lover) was the house-made right-out-of-the oven focaccia. It is worth the "bread service charge). The ambiance was just right - not too formal and not too casual. It was our best dinner during our week on Maui.

Yelp
I've been wanting to go to @gatheronmaui since their posts have been popping up in my social media feed. So I'm happy to say it's official & I've finally made it here for lunch today. Plus for my very first experience at Gather on Maui for Food + Drink. I did have to google their location being that I'm not an experienced golfer. So I've never actually had an excuse to be in the area until now. Plus I even convinced my parents to tag along for their first dining experience here too. Thanks to Google maps I guided them straight to their massive parking lot. There where a lot of cars. But also a ton of available parking spots as well. So instead of hunting for something closer we just parked towards the back. Which just gave us more time to admire all the greenery. Plus to help work up an appetite as we walked towards the building. Still being in unfamiliar territory. We saw the restaurants name on the outside of the building. So we were definitely in the right area. Walking inside I was in awe of how massive this space was. It looked like the cutest waiting room filled with seating arrangements. To the left was a shop, the middle door opened up to a view of the golf course & the door on the right lead down a hallway to the restaurant. I'm still in love with the elegance of their restaurant decor. Their choices of color made for a beautiful walk through the restaurant passing the bar on the right. As we followed our hostess who also happened to be the manager. To a table with a beautiful view overlooking the golf course. The Blackened Fish Tacos looked deliciously messy. So of course I added the salsa intended for the chips to my tacos & yes I was correct with my assumption. Originally, I planned on splitting this dish with my mom because it came with two tacos. However my dad also ordered the same thing & only ate one. So I ended up eating two anyways. My customer food tip if you also order the Blackened Fish Tacos. Even if you add the salsa or not. These are going to be messy & eating them by hand isn't exactly pretty. Plus your hands will still smell like food. So if you do use your hands bring sanitizer & thank me later. Or just use your fork. I'll definitely be trying that option my next time around. I also love trying out different specialty drinks from any restaurant I go to. So I sampled the Basil Smash, Who's Your Caddy, Pina On The Rocks & Rose Colored Glasses. Even though all four were delicious. However my favorite is a toss up between Who's Your Caddy & Pina On The Rocks. So for next time I'll just start with those two for research purposes. As for my restaurant recommendations those birds are like vultures. They aren't easily scared off. Even if you kick the chair they land on. They'll move but fly right back. So maybe adding a bird deterrent like shiny objects or bird spikes might help. Plus being that it is an open air environment. The moment our food was placed on the table is when the gnats flew in to make their food landing. Either a higher ceiling fan setting might help. Or even certain scents might help repel them too. Also as a huge dessert foodie I'd love to see a specialty dessert cocktail or a few on a future menu. Plus anywhere I go I'm always on the hunt for anything incorporating Matcha or Ube. Those are also the type of flavors that help me pick out restaurants for a date with my fiancé. To the manager & our server thank you for making our first dining experience here an enjoyable one. Everything from the customer service, to the view, food & drinks were all on point. Gather on Maui for Food + Drink is on my recommendation list. Until next time. XOXO, ChelsieFletcher

Yelp
All I can say is... Amazing! From the easiness of reserving, to being sat, to ordering, to the AMAZING service and all the way to the closing of our dinner. The ambiance, view, and attention to detail from ALL staff was spot on. Thank you to our amazing server (I forgot her name) but I do know she travels A LOT and was here for the migration of whales. She was absolutely awesome! Thank you for showing us so much ALOHA during our beautiful dinner. It is a bit pricey, but do yourself a favor and give a try! It's a worthy experience!

Yelp
The kids brought us here for Father's Day. We had been here a few times and loved the food and atmosphere. We were very disappointed because the favorite Chicken Katsu sandwich was not on the menu and the fish tacos were so so. I think it was the cheese. My daughter had the wrap and was also disappointed. The guys ordered the smash burger which was maybe a 3.5 out of 5. Not sure what happened but things have changed for the worse in the last few months.

Yelp
We found this by a chance - it was on the inKind app and are so glad we did. The ambiance is amazing and service was impeccable. Our cocktails were excellent and so was the food. Every dish was flavorful and abundant and beautifully plated. We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
Remarkable simply put. I was introduced to gather by my friend and coworker who is the brother of the owner of gather. I wasn't going to miss the opportunity and our family drove an hour from Kaanapali Beach resort to make the special occasion. Edna, Sydney, the staff were absolutely gracious and wonderful. The location, ambiance and food make this experience one you won't forget. Exceptional is the only word I can describe our experience. The food was outstanding. Service, over the top. I've been to Maui at least a dozen times over the past 17 years and to countless 5-star restaurants and gather is by far my favorite. Can't wait to be back and try everything else on their menu! The food is eclectic but with soul. The ingredients pop. And everything has its own obsessive flavor and personality. Amazing. Thank you Graeme!!

Yelp
This is an awesome plane to gather with friends. Food is delicious. The ambience is fantastic. The views are amazing. The service is impeccable. The prices are pretty high... but this is Maui. We enjoyed the loaded potato croquettes. The ribs were impressively delicious. The smash burger was a smash hit!!! Was not too impressed with the baby broccoli, though.

Yelp
Service is wonderful felt very welcomed. The kun pao calamari was perfect mix of sweet, salt and just a hint of spice. The ahi dashi was the bomb and the Hummus board with all the Pickled vegetables yummy. Beautiful view and ambiance we will be back.

Yelp
Ate her after golf two days in a row. Food is ok, but service is a bit spotty (more absent minded) and they have a bunch of trouble getting orders straight. We had multiple issues both days we ate there. One day they put 2 mai tais on our bill when we didn't order any. I ordered a double burger, but they only gave me a single. I used a 20% off from Yelp check-in and then they forgot to take it off the bill. Kind of a mess if you ask me, but the setting and restaurant is beautiful. As for food, it's not bad maybe slightly above average. Burger was pretty good, but as I mentioned they gave me a single vs double and it's only a 3oz patty which is tiny. Also tried the fish tacos which had nice flavor, but could have used some more fish, it was just a couple small pieces. The house made chips were tasty though and a nice complement with the salsa.

Yelp
You should never leave a fine dining meal tired from all the hard conversations you had, but tonight I feel this way.... Colin was off to such a good start describing the menu, showing personality, our little family of 3 watched a gorgeous sunset, enjoyed our drinks. Kid ordered a Caesar salad adding blackened ahi, hold the anchovies. I ordered the fish with pancit noodles that Colin RAVED ABOUT. I explained i am annoying with some weird diet restrictions but he was super adamant that everything was made fresh. I said ok, just remove celery, bell pepper and cabbage and I want everything else. No problem, he said. We enjoyed our bread, then had a noticeably long wait for the entrees. There was a wedding reception there too so maybe that impacted the service. Anyway, the food finally arrived and daughter's salad has anchovies all over it. My fish has celery and peppers. Waited for Colin to come by and check on us. He did not. He was busy talking up other tables. Finally tracked him down. He apologized and took our food away. A few mins later a new salad arrived for the kid, and she was happy. Waited and waited for mine. Finally again random person drops it in front of me. It is LITERALLY a dry piece of fish on plain noodles. I asked him to remove 3 things (No problem he said) and now they removed everything. No garlic, onions, green onions, carrots and who knows what else. Very very wrong! So again, I felt terrible but called poor Colin over and said I'm going to eat this, but it's wrong. He couldn't really say anything this time. His whole bravado changed and he just seemed awkward. My meal was bland. It lacked a lot with just fish and noodles and nothing else. It was not acceptable. I was clear with Colin about this. He apologized again. As he took our food away he said he felt bad and was going to personally send us out something special to make up for it. Then a woman who i assume was a manager came and asked how our meal was. So I very directly and succinctly explained the issues. She apologized and asked if she could give us a free dessert, to which I looked at my phone and we had been there nearly 2 hours. I said Colin already said he was sending over a dessert but honestly we just kind of wanted to go. She walked away. Colin dropped a bowl of plain vanilla ice cream in front of us and said "I heard you don't want this but here" and walked away. My girls were uncomfortable and left me to handle paying the bill. Colin said "we took 50% off your entree" because of the trouble. To me, this was not even close to a reasonable solution, but I was tired so I apologize to Colin as I took it out of his tip. Still paid $180 for 2 out of 3 meals coming out wrong and 1 never getting fixed. Great atmosphere. Beautiful spot. Colin seems like a nice young man. They just screwed the pooch tonight.

Yelp
We came for the happy hour. Rate as below Pork nacho 8/10 Poki bowl 7/10 Mashed burger 8/10 Baked Brussels 9/10 Drinks 10/10 , sooooo good

Yelp
We came here for Easter brunch. There was a wide selection of food. They were clearly understaffed but they did the best they could to make sure our family of 8 was not baking in the Sun! The banana muffins and Mac and cheese were memorable. I also enjoyed the charcuterie selection and cocktail shrimps. Great atmosphere with a gorgeous view!

Yelp
Ok had very high hopes as a local you are always looking for something different. The location and ambiance is EXCELLENT. The service solid... The food for the money is not good. It is average. Very average. When paying $40+ an entree' I want better than average. The menu online is a tad different no biggie. I think the menu needs a complete overhaul. Great potential but so many other wonderful choices on island. (shout out - Spoon and Key).

Yelp
We recently had the most incredible February wedding reception at Gather on Maui, and we truly couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. From start to finish, every moment felt magical, and a big part of that was because of this breathtaking location and the wonderful staff. First, let's talk about the venue itself--wow. The panoramic views of the ocean, the mountains in the background, and the lush tropical surroundings created a picturesque setting that honestly felt like we were in a movie. Growing up on Maui, I have always dreamed of having my wedding here, formerly Gannon's, and it was everything we had dreamed of and more. Gather on Maui offers so many different options on property for your wedding gathering. We had a buy out of the restaurant and were able to use every part of Gather. We hosted our cocktail hour on the lower lawn with the stunning sunset as our backdrop. We then moved the party to the main dining room for dinner and dancing. The team at Gather made everything feel so seamless, executing everything we envisioned flawlessly. There was a real attention to detail that made our day feel not only special but also completely stress-free. Rondi was a shining light though this whole process always reassuring us that we would have the best day, working out any kinks behind the scenes, and always doing everything with the spirit of Aloha. Every time we had a site visit or phone call I always felt rest assured that Rondi would always be on our side. The day of our wedding Brian and his team were exceptional. They would constantly check on my husband and I throughout the night, checking if we needed another drink, more food or appetizers that we missed out on, and keeping our waters refilled as we definitely needed it. The service here at Gather on Maui is unmatched. Every person we interacted with made us feel like our day was their priority, and it showed. The vibe of Gather on Maui was laid-back yet elegant, striking the perfect balance for our celebration. The food was incredible, with local flavors that had our guests raving long after the event. The bar also had amazing signature cocktails that really tied in the tropical theme. Best Mai Tai on the island, so good our guests drank a total of 258 of them LOL. If you're looking for a high end wedding experience and location this is it. Hawaiian chic as i like to call it. In short, Gather on Maui gave us the wedding of our dreams. It was the perfect combination of beauty, exceptional service, and a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. If you're thinking of getting married on Maui, this venue is an absolute must-see. We will forever cherish the memories made here.

Yelp
Beautiful spot. Great long distance view of ocean. Friendly server. Solid food. Fresh veggies.

Yelp
Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and amazing service! What a great evening at Gather! We all enjoyed our food. The humus plate was so good! Everyone at our table enjoyed our food and drinks. Our waitress was wonderful as well. Definitely recommend. This is our new go to for a nice dinner on Maui.

Yelp
This restaurant has an amazing view, friendly staff, insane cocktails and delicious food. We are staying at a nearby resort but the happy hour drew us in, and we stayed for dinner and ordered the Mushroom Catch fish entree with fresh Ono in a creamy lemongrass and mushroom sauce. They have a daily special and Mondays they feature Mai Tais that are better than Monkeypod. We actually booked another reservation on our way out for Wine down Wednesday (half off selected wines).

Yelp
Beautiful venue and view. Happy hour offerings were varied and larger than expected quantity. Was nice to be seated on patio w shade from umbrella, gorgeous view and a breeze! Mai tai was good and large! Favorite of everything ordered was the bahn mi nachos tho no complaints of the other items! Combined with inkind app, was a great way to try something new!

Yelp
Short ribs were fine, a little dry. Ahi was excellent. Marlin was good, but sweet potato hash had too much bacon. I ordered grilled shrimp salad with light dressing, shrimp were fine, nothing special, salad was inedible, dripping with dressing. Waitress never stopped by to see how the meal was. The restaurant was not crowded but they are focused on turning the tables so food comes out very fast and meal feels rushed. Humus plate was mostly good. Some odd pickled vegetables which is unusual on a humus plate. $8 for bread, so make sure you're ok paying $2 for a slice of focaccia that isn't really focaccia.

Yelp
Delicious food with a view! Our party of four had the kung-pao calamari, fresh catch (marlin), Thai coconut catch, and fried chicken mole. All the dishes were exceptional except the calamari app. It was okay but would have preferred non kung-pao style. The "Monday Mai Tais" (half priced on Mondays) tasted amazing but were light on the alcohol (go figure). The restaurant vibe is good and the sunset view can't be beat. Our server was great and we would definitely return when back in Kihei area!

Yelp
We were having holiday in Maui and needed to go somewhere other than the hotel chains. Concierge recommended this place so we tried it out. First off the view is incredible. Sunset pictures are amazing and the staff knows how to take photos and will even tell you get ready for a sunset photo. The food was much better than the hotel chains. They knew how to cook a steak and knew what went well with Brussels sprouts that even the kids were eating them. Great place and the food and staff were fabulous. A must for the trip.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant at the golf club, the inside was well decorated and had a stunning view. Food was super delicious with lots of fresh items and variety. The place was empty when we went so we had a great time talking with the staff, all warm and friendly!

Yelp
Beautiful views, delicious drinks, and everyone was so nice, especially Alicia. We went during happy hour, and I have to confess that I didn't love the food, except for the salads. My daughter enjoyed the bahn mi nachos, but they were too fried for me. The ribs were a big no for us, didn't like the sauce and at $20 not worth it. Better to pay whatever difference for an entree. The poke was meh. Much better to be had at Foodland. The Golden beet poke was the biggest disappointment of all. Boring flavor and the rice was both mealy and had hard bits. Texturally an unpleasant experience, and I was honestly surprised they served rice that tasted so bad. Made me scared to try anyth8ng with rice as an accompaniment. We liked the banana cheesecake. Next time we're in Maui we will definitely come in for happy hour for the yummy drinks, salad, and will try entrees off the dinner menu.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience, but the food is expensive and mediocre at best. Ordered the calamari because they said that's their specialty; it had a sweet sauce similar to Trader Joe's orange chicken. Ordered 2 fresh fish specials; one was overcooked and one was mushy. The bread was really good. Service was good, but didn't make up for high price and mid food. Avoid if you can.

Yelp
Service was great :) Beautiful sunset views with a relaxed vibe. The hummus board was elite, especially the beet hummus, all the ingredients went so well together. Vegan risotto had complex depth of flavor, I added chicken and it was super moist. The garden salad had a balanced dressing and I love the pepitas that came with it. Mahi Mahi for the catch of the day was cooked to perfection. Pricey restaurant but well worth it with the views, food and service!

Yelp
Personally, I can't find any flaws in my visit to Gather in Maui! We were here for lunch, so it was quieter/less busy than it would be dinner time. That being said, the patio was still somewhat busy yet we managed to get a table with a wonderful view. Our server was actually the bartender (a testament to how not-busy it was that he was tending the bar but also coming outside to serve us). He was great! Super informative, helpful, knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. We loved our pina on the rocks cocktails (such perfection!) and also had the blackened fish tacos and the grilled fish sandwich (both made with mahi mahi on this day). The food was very good, the service was solid, and the views and ambiance were priceless. He also brought out a book along with our check and said we could write a message inside. It was a creative and more personal way of dropping off the check! It was fun to see messages in there from other past visitors, and of course we added our own little message as well. I'm sure coming here for dinner would be even better with a more substantial menu and potential sunset views, but I was very happy with my decision to try lunch here. Although the lunch menu is more limited, it was fine for us, and the views really took the experience to another level. I would happily return for a special occasion or really just any meal worthy of a fantastic view! Mahalo!

Yelp
I have attended this location for both a wedding and for dinner, and both were fantastic! The food was delicious and the service was great. There are breathtaking views all around. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Every drink I had was amazing. The fish sandwiche was pretty bland. The fries were good. The pineapple upside down dessert was yum. The waitress we had McKenna was not very great. When another person took over during our waitresses lunch, she was great! Would come again and hope for better service.

Yelp
The view was so pretty! The Maitai was on the sweeter side but delicious nonetheless. We had a server switch out shifts but both servers were attentive to us the entire time we were there.

Yelp
The food is good and the service is quick and friendly. We went for happy hour and sat outside, the prices were reasonable for the portion. The open air restaurant and patio dining are both great seating options. The view is beautiful and the whole experience was super relaxing.

Yelp
We went here based on a review from a local, and really enjoyed it! It was mai tai Monday, and we couldn't pass down $8 mai tais. We both had fish dishes that were pretty decent. I would highly recommend coming here for sunset, as the view is great!
