"This old-school Florida attraction devoted to the state’s most notorious reptile tends to get lost in the shadow of Orlando ’s big-name theme parks. But if you’re looking to see alligators, this is the spot. The self-dubbed alligator capital of the world, the 110-acre park has a zip line that takes you flying across an alligator breeding marsh, nighttime visits to gator-infested swamps where you’ll feed the animals hot dogs, and even a “Gator Wrestlin’ Arena” where you can put your hands around the jaws of the beasts."

15 Best Things to Do in Orlando

"What began as a working farm in the 1950s has since grown into Gatorland, a wildlife attraction in its own right. Unlike the technologically focused parks of most of Orlando, this one has a more rustic, old-fashioned feel, but that doesn’t mean it has any less charisma. It’s now a zoo and sanctuary where you can see alligators up close, whether from the rickety wooden walkways or in a show, from tiny babies to huge adults laying out in the sun or slithering around the swamps and pools that comprise much of the parkland." - Paul Oswell

Gatorland, Orlando, Florida, United States - Theme Park Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"What's the story behind this park? What began as a working farm in the 1950s has since grown into a wildlife attraction in its own right. Unlike the technologically focused parks of most of Orlando, this one has a more rustic, old-fashioned feel, but that doesn’t mean it has any less charisma. It’s now a zoo and sanctuary where you can see alligators up close, whether from rickety wooden walkways or in a show, from tiny babies to huge adults laying out in the sun or slithering around the swamps and pools that comprise much of the parkland. Fun! What are some of the best moments of the visit? Just seeing the gators is fairly exciting, but most people also want to see a bit of action; the Jumparoo feeding time—where gators leap up and lunge at raw chickens—and the gator-wrestling presentations are always popular. The zip line over the park and the Stompin’ Gator Off Road Adventure are also popular. Got it. How easy is it to get around? The park isn’t huge, and it’s easy enough to navigate by walkway. The observation towers and zip line attraction may prove challenging to some, but otherwise it's all pretty easy. That sounds cool. Who do you think would most enjoy this park? The focus here is on (duh) alligators, and fans of the huge reptiles will be in their element. There are other areas of the park, though, where you can see emus, snakes, giant tortoises, bobcats, and flamingos. There’s even a small petting zoo for younger visitors." - Paul Oswell

Google
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE! It was so much freaking fun, there was so many different kinds of animals and of course A TON of gators! I had so much fun feeding the gators and flamingos and having an opportunity to take a picture with the adult gator and also hold the baby gator. You can also feed the small gators with a fish on a fishing rod. IT WAS SO COOL!! I will definitely come back and would 100% recommend to a friend!

A classic Florida adventure with lots to see and do Gatorland was such a fun and unique place to visit—I spent several hours there and enjoyed every minute. A friend recommended it, and I’m glad they did. It’s easy to get to, with plenty of parking and a relaxed, friendly vibe once you're inside. The park is full of gators and crocodiles of all sizes, plus rare white alligators, birds, snakes, and even a petting zoo. One of the highlights for me was riding the Gatorland Express train, which loops around the park and gives you a great overview of everything. I also climbed their three-story observation tower, which overlooks the main alligator lake—what a view! You can see hundreds of gators sunning themselves or swimming around. The layout is well thought out, with shaded areas, walking trails, and plenty of spots to stop and take pictures. There are shows throughout the day, like the Gator Jumparoo, that are both fun and educational. The staff was helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. Gatorland feels like a classic piece of Florida, with just the right mix of wildlife, entertainment, and charm. I’d definitely recommend it for families, animal lovers, or anyone looking for something a little different from the big theme parks.

Google
Compare to the popular theme parks in Orlando, this felt like a more local and fun place to visit. There were tons of gators in the park, as well as other animals. Upon entering, there was an attraction to feed the alligators. We bought a few fish and it was a lot of fun feeding them. The staff there were very nice, and we got to pet some baby alligators that they were showing us. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a non-mainstream park!

Google
The staff is so incredible! We were so welcoming and allowed our service dog training group to tour the facility. We had the best time and it was such a cool opportunity for our service animals to experience. They are so outgoing and went out of their way to host us. I will 100% go back with my family. They are so knowledgeable and answer all the questions you could possibly think of. You can tell they love their job and animals. We highly recommend them, and they have an amazing facility!

Google
We spent the day at Gatorland for Father’s Day and we had a great time! They had many cool exhibits, shows, swamp walk, observation decks and the list goes on. It was very impressive to see some of these alligators up close. Yes, everything does cost extra but we did everything that came with our general entrance ticket with the Florida resident discount which was great and was worth it. We will definitely be back to visit again!

Google
We visited gator land as part of a cruise ship excursion. We booked it last minute, and weren't sure we really wanted to visit. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised! Our 10 yr old loved it, he got to feed the small and big gators. The off road buggy was a blast! The facilities are nice, loved that a lot of the walkways are covered so you're out of the sun. Employees were all super nice too. Would recommend for a few hours visit!

Google
The advertisements don’t do this place justice. There’s so much more here than just alligators. We figured it was good for a couple hours but we made it a day. Actively duty military gets in free and their families get a discount. Florida residents also get a discount. Most activities are added fees, so you can tailor your experience and make it as expensive or cheap as you want (after the entrance). The whole group had a good time. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want to see something “Florida” that’s not Disney or Discovery.

Google
Lots of fun and tons of cool gators and many other kinds of animals to see. The mud buggy ride was super fun! It was also pretty fun to be able to feed the gators. Would be nice if the zip lines were included in admission somehow as a package but not very important..the off road truck ride option available made up for it..overall a memorable and exciting experience!!

Yelp
We had a blast at gatorland. There is something for everyone, especially for kids. The splash pad was a hit as well as the petting zoo. They were fascinated by all the gators and other animals. Will definitely visit again!

Yelp
Huge park & even more interactive than Disney parks. Staff is fun & entertaining. Good shows - 3 ea day - gotta see them. Lots of food, snack & dessert options. Cappabara is a must add-on if you can get limited tickets at 11:00 in petting zoo area. Cool bird feeding experience - crazy. Old train ride is fun for everyone too. Nice gift shop w/ tons of stuff. Security car drives the parking lot all day. Worth the admission!

Yelp
So much better than my expectations! I my wife and I really enjoyed Gatorland and recommend it to both families and adults. It didn't feel too kiddie and we comfortably spent 4 hours exploring with a reasonable amount of downtime. We caught 3 shows, played with capybaras, watched gator wrangling, walked through a swamp, and learned more than I ever wanted to about Florida and wildlife. Oh and saw panthers playing (and eyeing children!) and a bobcat and serval cat being fed and making pancakes. We bought tickets with no expectations and were really pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
I made a quick visit to Gatorland before returning back home. I got my ticket online and upgraded my ticket. I believe you save a few dollars if you purchase online. The upgraded ticket included a meet a gator experience, a bag of gator chow, unlimited train rides, and admission. Parking was easily found right next to the entrance which was nice! As I walked in, I saw some kids with fishing poles that appeared to be feeding small gators. You can pay $5 and get 3 small frozen fish to feed the gators or you can pay $20 and get a plate full of small frozen fish. I opted for the $20 option. This experience was probably my second favorite. The small gators are strong and tug on the pole, so just be mindful if your child is on the younger side. Gatorland is also home to a lot of other animals such as crocodiles, birds, owls, snakes, mountain lion, among other creatures. I got to the gator show before start time and was able to have the meet the gator experience. It was so interesting to get feel the gator's skin. Professional pictures are snapped at that moment but are not included. They are available for purchase at 2 locations. This was my favorite experience. My third favorite experience was feeding the gators with gator chow. There's an area where you walk in a dock-like area and are able to throw the chow to them. There are a lot of birds who try to steal the food. They are not shy, so be careful. The train ride was fun and I enjoyed learning about how Gatorland came to be. Overall, it was very fun! I would love to visit again.

Yelp
We went to this place yesterday, had a late start, but had a great time, saw 2 show, walk around.!! Would come back again someday. Hopefully we can go on Gatorland monster truck and train

Yelp
Gatorland was an incredible experience! I expected to see some alligators, but I never imagined I would encounter so many. The thrill was heightened as we explored a real swamp and spotted impressive spiders and gigantic snakes. Next time, I can't wait to try the zip line over the alligators!

Yelp
I have only been to Florida twice in my life and both times theme parks. This last trip I was really looking to do something besides that. Where the alligators came into play. First and foremost, I really researched the park and prices and hours. Very affordable rate of $30+. Hours were great so we decided to make a go of it. It was about a 20min drive away from the theme parks. There is plenty of parking. We showed up when it first opened. Hardly anyone was there. The park itself is huge. And you are surrounded by alligators. There are exhibits everywhere. The park itself is very clean and the walking paths are nice. There are signs everywhere. Very easy park to navigate. Alligators are not the only animals to view. There are parrots, turtles, lizards and more. They have animal shows and private tours. They sell fish and food to feed gators. They also have a swamp tour walk. Honestly you could spend all day here. Apart from the animals they also have a small waterpark to keep kids cool. They also have food and snacks onsite. Honestly one of the best experiences.

Yelp
This was hands down the happiest day of my life. In the last year i have been to Universal studios+Islands, Disney Magic Kingdom+Epcot and I wasn't even a FRACTION of happy as I was today. Gatorland was a life changing experience for me! I had the chance to feed alligators and the cutest birds! My husband volunteered for the show and I was SHOCKED when they brought out a real life snake and put it in him to hold! And on our way to the other show Myles from Michigan working the pretzel cart made my day and brought me to tears in how sweet he was. He was just the kindest boy I have ever meet and same for the boy giving away the fish for alligator feeding. The staff here is absolutely amazing and just made my day amazing. They were so sweet and attentive I was in awe. The Legend Show was also a blast and my husband was able to MOUNT an alligator!! It was so much fun. This place was clean, and has so much beautiful sites. Major shoutout to my girl Jawlene she's perfect. Always protect animals no matter how big or small, today was truly beautiful.

Yelp
Gatorland Park in Orlando, Florida: A Snappy Adventure! Alright, never thought I'd be *wrestling* with the idea of writing a gator park review, but here we *snap*--let's go! It was fun AF (*Alligators Forever*, of course)! The park is super clean, the walking paths are nice, and you can really tell the gators and all the other wild critters are *well-fed and well-bred*. The Alligator wrangling show? Absolutely *snaptacular*, and the feeding show? A total *bite* of fun! And don't even get me started on the giant tortoises. Those slow and steady cuties are *turtley* adorable! You can feed them for a small fee--*shelling* out a few bucks has never been more worth it. I went full tourist mode and got my picture with a baby gator! You could even pose with a snake, but I said, "*s-sss-skip* that!" Bottom line: The kids will be *snapping* it up, there's food on-site, and it's a *gator-rific* way to spend a few hours away from the bigger theme parks. Don't let this one *slip* by--it's a real *croc* of fun!

Yelp
The experience we had there was: don't take that picture, don't give your money to these people who mistreat the poor baby alligator, they have it with construction tape in its mouth for hours without food so that it will be a toy for children. We felt really bad about that. They don't care, they just want to make money with the picture ready in the window and when you tell them that you don't want the picture that they wanted, the woman behind the young man. She is an ugly and unprofessional woman. She threw the picture in the trash and then I said to the young man, is it okay, can we buy the picture? and he said no, it's free, so I said, well, thank you very much and she screamed and said no, she has to pay 11 dollars knowing that the picture is already in the trash, and the young man looked at it and she said something to him and then I said, what is your name? And she said Ana and I said, OK, well, you know Ana, you're very unprofessional and you shouldn't be in this job for mistreating people, you're not nice, so I told her to please tear up the picture since we're not going to get it for $11, so she went back to the trash and she went and tore up the picture of me, my husband and my grandson, this is America, people, our president. Trump doesn't want people like that and business people that don't qualify for jobs.

Yelp
Being a Central Florida resident for most of my life I am ashamed to say that prior to my recent visit... I had been to Gatorland only once before. Back when I was a kid there wasn't as many bells and whistles as I can remember. Fast forward to today, I had a chance to visit this gator wonderland and I was blown away with how far this place has come! The tickets themselves were very affordable especially if you are a Florida resident. There was plenty of parking and even additional parking in the rear. Upon entering you are greeted by hundreds of gators where you can watch them interact within their habitat and you could also feed them. Along with the gators other wildlife animals that call Gatorland their home include tropical birds, tortoises, bobcats, reptiles, goats and Capybaras! My hands down favorite attractions were the gator show and the capybaras meet and greet. The gator show was filled with comedy and action. And the capybaras were so precious and some of the most calmest animals I have ever seen! Overall, I had such an amazing experience at Gatorland and I can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
***Memorable Experience, Very Affordable, Highly Recommend*** You can definitely visit this entire park in a day. We were able to see and do so much, which really made the cost of the tickets worth it. There are additional costs that aren't included if you want photos with some of the animals, etc. I had such an amazing time and the shows were very entertaining!! One feedback is that they need to update their train speaker. It was very muffled on our ride.
google avatar

Jezreel Carl M.

Yelp
If I'm being honest... I had more fun at Gatorland than I did at Disney world. I was visiting from Hawaii and we don't have a lot of animals that they do in Florida. It was cool seeing all those gators and snakes. The kids and I actually got to hold a snake and hold a gator. It was surprisingly a fun day there.
google avatar

Madeleine N.

Yelp
I had a lot of fun here, the birds were awesome and the gator wrangler show was really cool. It was a great experience to bring my daughter to. She had a lot of fun looking at the animals. If you're a Florida resident they also discount your ticket.

Yelp
No notes. Love everything about this place. Perfect combo of kitsch and entertainment. Staff was great and seemed to genuinely like being there. So many gators. Fed gators. Rode the train (train conductor gives a bit of history about the park on your ride). Sat on a gator and took a picture before the Legends Show (show was educational and entertaining). It was the holidays and there were so many fun silly photo opportunities - Santa Claws gator photo, Yeti caroling...they serve Alligator tidbits at the food court (which felt a little inappropriate but I ate them anyway). The gift shop...this shop has a t-shirt for everyone. They know what the people want and they give it to them. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place is AWESOME! We usually just go to Disney when we're in Florida but we wanted to try something new this time. We saw a couple of shows, fed the gators & the parakeets, and did the zipline. All the employees were very friendly, and it was very clean. The activities we did were very reasonably priced. We had a blast & will definitely be back on our next vacation!

Yelp
My son loves this kind of stuff so of course we had to come. I was not expecting in October 102 degrees but here we were. Yes I was that person. I'm a northerner and I like the cold. I really give props to the people who actually live in Florida because I just could not do it lol. Anyway back to this place it was a fun adventure, fans were around which was nice. It was interesting and a nice way to kill some time plus entertain my son. Of course we ended up with a squeaky alligator toy I can see as I type this hidden under my bed as I hope my son doesn't find it and annoy us all lol. I'd recommend this place.

Yelp
The family and I (x4 adults, x2 children) elected to go to Gatorland based upon a brochure in the resort lobby, and we sure are glad we did! It had more than we expected and the property itself is fairly expansive. The property was also very well maintained and clean. Feeding alligators was fun and a new experience to say the least. They had many exhibits, one being an old (living) alligator that was a hatchling when the park first opened in 1949! They had albino alligators, baby alligators, imported Nile crocodiles; as well as venomous snakes indigent to Florida (who knew?), parrots and parakeets, flamingos and capybara, etc. They had a petting zoo and a sizable splash pad for the kids, as well. Bring your bathing suit, of the cloth variety, especially on a hot humid day (which I think is most days). They have a changing room on location, right next to the splash pad play area. I shouldn't forget the educational shows that staff put on throughout the day. The snack bars located throughout the park are well stocked, including ice cold beer, and reasonably priced (if not on the cheaper side)! I highly recommend spending half a day, or more, here if you like this type of stuff. Although there were plenty of tourists / visitors present it never felt crowded. I am giving this the 5 star rate of approval, as it was great for all of us.

Yelp
Pros: gators everywhere. You'll be over it after visiting gatorland. Cons: There are too many warning. If I want to try to pet a gator and lose my arm, that's my prerogative. (j/k please don't try to pet the gators) When I think of Florida I think of disney world, oranges, and alligators. If you've never seen one, come here you'll see hundreds of them of all ages. I think it's worth visiting at least once, Fed the gators. You buy bait $5 for 3 small sardine sized fishes or $20 for like... 15 fishes. They give you a wooden 3 foot wooden dowel with a rope, clip, and a long weed wacker plastic string. You use the plastic string to pierce the sardine's body and hook the loose end to the clip. You lower the fish over the fence and lure the gators to eat the fish. The staff encourage you to try to make them jump. My 4 year old son was over it after the 3rd fish. I had 2 tries and wife had 1. The rest we just lobbed them to the gators. If I was to do it again, I'd probably do 6 small fishes for $10. The set up to attach the fish to the fishing line was probably the most time consuming part-- also stinky and kinda gross. Some of the things that were intersting to me is that you only get to feed the 4-5 year old gators. They're the size of medium size golden retrievers. They're cute because of their size but I really wanted to feed the bigger gators. However, the staff were like... "don't feed the big gators or they'll pull you in" nuff said cause I didn't want to die. I totally believe them because after feeding the small ones, I realized they're pretty strong already small tug enough to brace myself. My hands smelled so fishy that it only came off with alcohol based hand sanitizor. took pictures with a baby gator. Man they feed so weird! skin was scaly and they were surprizingly heavy. They instructed me on how to hold the gator. The baby gator was very docile. I was expecting it to flop around like a fish and whip me with it's tail. The croc handlers were great at sensing my fear and assured me that I was ok. The fee was about $10 to take a pic. They took offical pictures with their camera but we were able to take pictures with our phones as well. Not sure what happened to the offical pictures as we never got them. I was probably just focusing on getting my heart rate down that I forgot about the offical pictures. We only stayed for about 30 minutes because we arrived near closing. I'd come again because we missed a few shows and some other attractions. No

Yelp
It was my first Florida trip in a long time and it was an amazing experience. I got to hold a gator and a snake it was cool. had dippin dots and then I saw dog eater he was massive you know what else is massive, my love for the gator wrestling was fun to watch and overall 10/10 experience.

Yelp
I went to an event where Gatorland offered discounted tickets (about 12 dollars) for admission. The regular price is about 35 dollars, so it was a bargain. Unlike the major parks, the parking is always free and pretty easy to find. There are no metal detectors or Evolv weapon scanners, so you are inside the park after buying your ticket. Upon entering, there a lot of alligators to see and feed. You can buy fish with a pole to train smaller gators to jump and catch the food. If you go further down, there is a place to buy gator chow and feed the larger gators. While alligators are the main attraction, there are other animals to see like snakes, farm animals, birds, and big cats. There is a small water play area for the kids, a natural swamp area, a train ride, and even an observation tower. If you take your time walking the whole park without seeing any shows, you should be able to finish within 2-3 hours. There are 3 shows that Gatorland offers. The first one is the Gator Jumperoo, where gators jump high to catch raw chicken meats. The 2nd one is an up close encounters where lucky people (or unlucky) can hold snakes and spiders. The most popular one is the Gator Wres...er...Legends of The Swamp show. A trainer will wrestle a gator in the arena and talk about alligators to the audience. There are many other activities available for an extra charge. I bought a package for 14 dollars extra to feed the gators (4.50), ride the train (3), and meet a gator at the arena (12 dollars). There were ample amount of chow to feed the gators and the gators seem to enjoy it. While I didn't do the train ride, I did wait in line to meet the gator at the arena. There were a lot of people who wanted to do this, and it is a pretty short experience. You go inside the arena and straddle a real alligator for a photo up (the gator mouth is taped shut). If you are lucky enough and willing to get your pants dirty, you can sit on its back for a couple seconds. Other experiences not included in the package that cost extra are feeding barn animals, zip line rides, holding other animals, and even feeding gators up close. The extra activities are a cash grab, but what do you expect from tourist attractions? And lets not forget the photos are not included in the experiences. If you can't afford (or don't want) to sit on a real alligator, you can sit on a statue alligator near the entrance for free. One you are done with the shows, activities, displays, you exit to the gift shop. If you like alligators, this is an attraction to visit. To be able to see, feed, and even hop on a real alligator is a huge attraction. But if you don't care for gators, then you may get a little bored. There is a small counter service restaurant as well, but the food is attraction expensive. The staff/trainers are pretty friendly and helpful, and you can spend a half day enjoying everything. Country and rock music is played throughout the front area of the park. While the activities can be expensive, parking is free and there are many discounted admission prices to visit the park. A nice place to visit if you are tired of the visiting the mega parks (Disney, Universal SeaWorld) in the Orlando area.

Yelp
This is my first time here at Gatorland. There was a lot to see. They have many many gators including albino ones and babies. Also there were several types of the species. They had exotic birds, snakes, horses, and several other animals. I believe they're all rescued. There were a variety of shows including the one we watched, Gator wrestling. Fun show. They could use more restroom facilities and signage wasn't clear for them. It seemed clean and kept up. A great place for kids. A lot of activities for them.

Yelp
Gatorland is everything you want it to be and more. My husband and I spent a day here on our Florida honeymoon. You could probably spend two days here if you really wanted to. I mean, not two whole days. You can't spend the night. You have to leave and come back. We spend 3/4 of a day here and didn't get to everything. We took our time enjoying the shows and feeding the gators. We really had a good time. They have a very affordable all inclusive pass and you can get more gator food and do different things. It's very affordable. It's a lot of fun. The employees were all really kind and helpful. The park was clean.

Yelp
I am completely shocked by how much I enjoyed passing an afternoon here. I was expecting a little side of the road tourist trap but Gatorland is anything but. For starters the entire land is a conservation. The gators are rescues or at least all protected because of this. I actually learned so much about the state of Florida on the nature walk Gatorland has through a swamp. I don't want to spoil much more about this but the show where we got to watch the guy (Ernie!!) wrangle some gators was INSANE. All of the attractions were also super easy to get to and wander around and I would really recommend. Parking was very ample as there's a whole overflow lot. I thought about doing the zip line but for double the park ticket it didn't seem worth it - there looked to only be three zip line towers anyway which made me feel like we made the right call to not do it. If you're ever passing by I highly recommend it for all ages!!!

Yelp
Had a great time. Worth the money and I even fed a gator (intentionally). Fun time for the family. Hot in the summer so bring shade and water.

Yelp
I recently went to Gatorland for the first time because my firefighter boyfriend was awarded 4 free tickets for winning "first responder of the month" on 98.9 WMMO radio station. So I'm not really able to comment much on prices other than the cost of food & drinks. However, I noticed that things can add up quickly here depending on how much you would like to do. In addition to the entrance fee, many other activities require an additional cost (zipline, gator off road adventure, the petting zoo, etc) so just keep in mind you will very likely be spending significantly more than just the entrance fee when you visit. The tickets he was awarded included the zipline experience for all 4 of us which I thought was a great time! Even if we had to pay the $50 per person, I thought it was worth it for how long it lasted (about 1.5 hrs). You zipline 5 different times and each line is more fun than the last. We caught a few minutes of a complimentary gator show, fed some gators and walked around enjoying the scenery. Alcoholic drinks can add up here (just shy of $40 for a round for all 4 of us) and don't expect to find any healthy food options here. The $5 pretzel was quite stale/hard unfortunately. All in all I enjoyed my visit and this is a terrific outing for a family/group of friends. Just come prepared to spend a bit of cash, don't forget to wear your sunscreen and don't miss out on feeding the gators (because did you really come to Gatorland if you didn't feed a gator?)

Yelp
Went here the first time as a kid in the 90s, while on a family trip and almost 30 years later. While on a family trip with my own kids, I brought them here to share with them a core memory from my childhood. A lot of Gatorland is how I remembered it; the large Gator mouth entrance. The Alligator wranglers, the white Alligator, the Alligator & snake photo area, and the Alligator feeding show. Although my boys are a little older, they definitely enjoyed Gatorland as well. And I'm glad they got the experience while in FL on vacation.

Yelp
The establishment was well-kept and the animals clearly cared for. My group and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit, where we got to interact with so many creatures and see them up close. I loved how there was a focus on local wildlife and plants, and the swamp walk was a biological spectacle.

Yelp
So nice, we have been twice! The park is very clean and staff are welcoming and so nice. The price wasn't bad compared to other attractions in the area. There were so many alligators and so close. We will definitely go again.

Yelp
Wonderful up close experiences with alligators, crocodiles, tropical birds, and more. I loved being able to feed gators in different ways by purchasing chow as well as fish to hook. Be prepared to be surrounded and mesmerized!

Yelp
Such a cool place to be! My group of friends went to Florida for a Disney World trip, and we were trying to find something to do for one of our "rest" days. Gatorland was within 25 minutes of our Disney World hotel so it worked out. It was such a cool experience. There were multiple swamps to look at, and so many different breeds of the gators. They even had shows to watch. They had an opportunity to feed the gators, which I highly recommended. You can easily spend at least 3 hours here, and still be entertained. It was so much fun!

Yelp
I loved how gatorland had other animals to see not just gators! I saw birds, snakes, emus, and more! You can feed the gators and birds but that's a separate charge. They also have other activities like zip lining and rock climbing too but didn't do that on this trip. The shows are fun to watch too and you can take pics with the gators but bring cash to pay for that! I would go again I had a lot of fun!

Yelp
As a Florida resident and older parents coming into town, Gatorland was a great option for family time. The area is very large and you can "get lost" in all the walk areas. The animals are beautiful and appeared to be well taken care of. There are a lot of "add-on" activities such as zip lining, riding a train, and animal interactions/ feeding that I would recommend looking at the website in advance to see if you can either book those activities ahead of time, or include them in your admission ticket to save some money. They have a water section for younger children so there is something for all ages. My favorite area as the swamp walk where it's a nature preserve section.

Yelp
Genuine Florida family fun -- with affordable prices, welcoming staff, fun shows, nature walks, off road rides, zip lining and more. Gatorland is a FANTASTIC, old Florida attraction with numerous local resident discounts a year. (Currrently $16.50 for Florida residents). Kids go nuts over the exhibits, and there are up close moments, even opportunities to meet and touch rare and exotic animals. We also love their seasonal offerings, Halloween and Christmas offer fun seasonal changes to the park for no additional money. At Gatorland, we feel welcomed and not chased for our wallet. We have visited 5+ times and will again many, many more times.

Yelp
Gatorland is iconic Florida as much as it is educational. You'll be overwhelmed from the start by the amount of alligators and other animals that are on display within this vast natural expanse. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of shows and demonstrations occurring throughout the day. Food and shopping opportunities are prevalent throughout the park. I can't imagine visiting the Orlando area and not paying a visit to Gatorland!

Yelp
First off, this place is bigger than it looks. You can spend a full day here and not get to experience everything. Completely worth it, and so uniquely different from the usual theme park fare here in the Orlando area, that it demands, no, REQUIRES a visit at least once. The staff is fantastic. Friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. My only regret is that we did not get to meet Savannah and her usual crew from the Gatorland videos on YouTube. The animals on display are amazing, and worth a look as there are some truly unique ones, particularly Mystic the Leucistic (white with blue eyes) which is one of seven alligators in the world who are leucistic. There is also Jawlene, who was a rescued gator, missing her top jaw. There are gators a plenty, but there are also flamingos, a variety of cats, and capybaras also on display. All animals look to be well taken care of. I would have easily stayed all day if it weren't for the heat as the day we went was a real scorcher! That said, we quite enjoyed Gatorland, and were very impressed by the experience, even my non-gator fans in the family! We will definitely be happy to return!

Yelp
Great entertainment for an afternoon in Orlando. It was a fun time but I wish they had gloves available to put bait to feed the animals or at least hand wipes/sanitizer. It was an expensive pit stop before heading to the airport, but overall it was a memorable time.

Yelp
It's a fantastic spot to educate the kids about gators and crocs, especially with the exciting STOMPIN' GATOR OFF-ROAD ADVENTURE. The kids had a blast, and the show was both amusing and entertaining. However, my only letdown was the nickel-and-diming with the photos. Paying $10.75 just for a chance to snap a photo with a small gator and snake, with additional charges for the actual photos, felt excessive. They only allow photos from the side with your own phone, restricting you from extending your arm, citing safety concerns in case the gator gets loose. While the overall experience was enjoyable, I wouldn't recommend spending money on the animal photos as it seems overpriced in my opinion.

Yelp
This place is actually so much fun, the workers doing the shows are super funny, great jokes, great interaction with the crowds. The food is so-so for the price. The train ride was underwhelming just around the park to see some common animals and a lot of trees. Overall it's a fun experience and place to spend the day, they have zip lining, shows, snakes, albino gators, cute gift shop and kids area to play in a water zone. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Recently visited Gatorland in Orlando with my son. I bought tickets online ahead of time to cut down on wait time but still you have to wait in line with people who are purchasing tickets in person. Upon entering, I expected this place to be small but I was proven wrong. They offer more than just gators. Birds, reptiles, bob cats, etc. We saw so many gators, even some of them being fed. They offer pictures with a baby gator for $10. They also have multiple food stands if you're hungry. I definitely recommend coming here especially if you have kids! Mine really enjoyed the experience!

Yelp
It's the most amazing fun experience I have ever been to. I have so much fear from gators but hey I am in Florida so I had to go and see them in controlled environments. So I was expecting like a very small park with couple of alligators. Was I wrong it's huge place so plan to spend at least 3hrs there. We had to rush through it as we only have 90 min. We started with the cute little babies then as well walked through the park we started to see the bigger and then bigger and then they aren't cute anymore they are scary. I have never ever in my life have seen alligators so this made me do something from my bucket without being scared for my life. The tinny food court they have there is cute and the ladies were super helpful for my diet restrictions cuz of my allergies. They chatted with us and we had a good laughs. It's definitely place I wanna come back to and spend more time and see everything. Oh yeah and we got to meet in person the capybara. Omg they are so cute and precious. There was birds as well that you just wanna spend one hour looking at them and connecting with them some how. Go and have fun and let me know what was your factory.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was so so so cool. My boyfriend's from here but I'm from Louisiana so I'd never been. We came because the capybara is my favorite animal. I would do it over and over and over again. The swamp buggy ride was also so much fun.

Yelp
We had a great time at Gatorland! Fun, informational, exciting - we all did the zipline and it was AWESOME! Where else can you see the BIGGEST and rarest gators around, snuggle capybaras, zoom over a gator pond, and even eat some tasty gator nuggets?!?! No where else but Gatorland! Birds, fish, reptiles, rodents...Gatorland has something for everyone! The staff is friendly, polite and helpful and genuinely seem to care for the animals. Yes, everything is an add-on cost to general admission, but if it helps preserve this place, I'm all for it! This is a unique, family-friendly wildlife experience you'd only get in FL!

Yelp
Gaterworld was a fun place for a corporate event. Def unique and gets people out of the office. The food was meh, but the entertainment was great. There was great story telling and entertainment with feedings, night feeds, education on the gaters. Oldest one. The albino ones and the only albino with blue eyes born in captivity. The Zipline, etc.

Yelp
This place was so fun. There were so many different things to do. My family and I were on vacation, and opted to get the package deal. It came with park admission ,alligator chow, train ride, and alligator encounter. There are other things to do like zip lining, other alligator feeding options, a splash pad and more. I would definitely recommend this place for families visiting!

Yelp
Spent my first day t gatorland and I'm hooked. I have lived in Florida for about three years and I can't believe I have never been a Gatorland. I highly recommend coming here and I'm gonna tell you why. From the interactive encounters Dash such as the live shows, to the feeding of the gators, feeding of the gators with a trainer in the back, zip lining across the gator infested waters, or looking at the animals or feeding the goats at the petting zoo this theme park has it all. My two top favorite things of the day were feeding the capybara's and getting a watermelon flavored bomb pop from at the snack counter in the middle. They have one main outlet that has all their barbecue stuff it is located in the back it is called pearls, and they also have a couple of snack booths around the main center hub as well as a coffee area. I had such a phenomenal time today. All through the month of April they are letting you go for about $20 by showing your Florida state ID. Next time we go I think I'm gonna upgrade it to a yearly pass which I believe is only $50 for Florida resident. I'll highly recommend coming to this theme park. At 10 out of 10.

Yelp
We really enjoyed everything they had to offer. We watched a couple of shows following the show schedule. Then we really wanted to see the petting zoo. We got a cone of food for $2 to feed the goats. That was a really amazing experience and great for kids. Then we purchased tickets $10 each to pet the capybaras for later in the day. That was an amazing experience as well. Their fur is like hay, it's very course! For another $2 we fed the birds in the aviary which was also a unique and memorable experience. Great for kids as well. They have so many unique experiences. If you're a Florida resident you can trade your day ticket for an annual pass for $30 more. Im debating doing it because we had such a fun time! Will be back again to try more things in the future for sure.

Yelp
Entertainment for the entire family of all ages. They offer several areas to feed the animals and even a petting area. There are about 3 shows you can watch. Just get there in time as the seats and spaces fill up fast. They also have zip line, train ride, and wrangler ride for extra fees or get it all on a package deal. For smaller children, they have a splash park area, do bring towels and extra clothes for them. They have 2 places to eat and are in the middle of construction for new ones soon to be open.

Yelp
If you're looking for a fun family adventure then this is a must try! Came here for the first time and had so much fun! There are gators everywhere.... I loved the educational signs all around the park. You really get to learn about the different gator/crocodile species. They also have a bunch of different shows throughout and different activities such as zip lining. Would definitely come again.
