Mixed grill $100 was excellent value but only available Mon-Thu. Rib eye steak was good quality & cooked to order but for $90 including the steak & 4 tomatoes is steep. Tomato salad was fresh. Like others have said, male manager & other staff very unfriendly. Feel like dropping $400 wasn’t good enough for their standards. Not a place we would be going back for its price & the uncomfortable celebratory meal experience.

The steaks and meats were amazing and delicious. The seasoning the chips was great, loved the slight sweetness. But it was very expensive. For a nice restaurant it was a bummer that the service was crap. The fried lamb was different and tasted quite nice until the pieces that were straight up fat and tasted a bit unhealthy. Overall it was nice, but for the price and service im not sure id come back.

Very tasty food. Ordered the Parillada Mixta (mixed grill for 2). I've heard this is the best steak in town! Will definitely be back if in Adelaide again.

We booked a large group in for dinner. The team were great in the lead in to the dinner with greats communication. Then on the night the staff could not have been more helpful in meal and dring selections. And then the food was superb. Best meat place in Adelaide. Thanks team.

I had the porterhouse, great seasoning, great char, tad sinewy but that's down to the cooking type. Was very busy, I was lucky to get a walkup table. A real buzz - definitely give it a go.

Next time I visit Adelaide, I will definitely come back to this restaurant. The best Lamb menu I ever had. Fried broccoli was a bit over cooked but I really loved the steak and lamb. Also the staffs are nice and friendly. I enjoyed having dinner at this restaurant.

*✨ A Feast for the Senses at @gauchosadelaide ✨** Last night, I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Gauchos Adelaide, a true gem in the heart of the city. From the moment I walked in, the warm, rustic ambience wrapped around me, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. **🥩 Rib Eye & Striploin: A Carnivore's Dream 🥩** We started with their Rib Eye and Striploin—two cuts of beef that were nothing short of extraordinary. The Rib Eye was beautifully marbled, with a rich flavour that melted in my mouth. Cooked to perfection, it had that delicate balance of tenderness and a slight char that only comes from expert grilling. The Striploin was equally impressive, boasting a robust flavour with a perfect crust on the outside and juicy, tender meat on the inside. Gauchos truly knows how to honour the art of grilling, and these steaks were a testament to their craft. **🥟 Empanadas & Calamari: Perfect Starters 🦑** Next up were the Empanadas and Calamari—ideal starters to whet the appetite. The Empanadas were golden parcels of delight, with a perfectly flaky crust and a rich, savoury filling that was bursting with flavour. Each bite transported me straight to the streets of Argentina. The Calamari was another standout, with a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, succulent squid. Paired with a zesty dipping jam sauce, it was a match made in heaven. **🍮 Crème Brûlée: A Sweet Finale 🍮** And just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any better, we were presented with their Crème Brûlée for dessert. The caramelized sugar on top provided the perfect crack as my spoon dug into the creamy, velvety custard beneath. It was the ideal way to end the meal—light, yet indulgent and bursting with the perfect amount of sweetness. **🍷 Wine & Atmosphere: The Perfect Pairing 🍷** To complement the meal, we enjoyed a glass of their Argentinian malbec wine, which boasted a strong flavour that enriched the profile of the steaks. Thank you Gauchos #OneDishAtATime🍽

The Scotch Fillet was just wow! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
