Gaudí in Barcelona: Our Guide | Condé Nast Traveler

"With the words "Gaudí 4D" emblazoned across the door, this modern space—part museum, part cinema—brings Gaudí to life for those who switch off at a curator's description. The main draw is the movie. Strap into a simulator seat, don a pair of 3D glasses, and prepare for a 15-minute rollercoaster ride into Gaudí’s universe. You see a forest turn into stone columns (a reference to La Sagrada Familia) and a roof morph into a dragon’s skin (Casa Batlló)—know these reference points before you see Gaudí’s works so that, when you do visit, you’ll grasp more what he was thinking." - Gemma Askham

13 Things to Do With Kids in Barcelona | Condé Nast Traveler

"The Gaudí Experience is a great introduction to one of the world's great architects for younger tourists with limited attention spans and walking power. It’s a 4D simulator that takes you through Gaudí’s wacky brain, with immersive sounds, moving seats and water jets. Imagine a ride at a fair that calm enough for your kids’ grandma, but with enough similarities to an iPad to keep the young tech addicts interested. If that whets the appetite, head to Park Güell, literally three minutes’ walk up the road (you have to pre-book tickets to visit the best parts, like the lizard, but you can enter the general site and stroll for free). Elsewhere, the stunning Casa Batlló has interactive smartphone guides with VR pop-ups. They make the audio genuinely engaging – if you get stuck working the controls, simply ask your seven-year-old how it’s done." - Gemma Askham

Gaudí Experiència is really cool because it feels like a mix of a museum and a shop. You can learn about Gaudí’s life, see his ideas come to life in the 4D cinema, and then browse through tons of souvenirs, books, and decorations inspired by his work. It’s a fun place to stop by if you want to understand Gaudí a bit better and also take something unique home from Barcelona.

We only went here because we couldn’t get tickets for Basilica or Park Guell but actually it was great. I’m not keen on funfair rides so could have done without the 4D tossing about but that’s just me. What I did enjoy was having context for Gaudi’s creativity, seeing how he got inspiration from trees and mountains and dragons. It felt like a real insight into his creative process which made everything else we saw more interesting.

⭐ 5/5 The Gaudí Experiencia was absolutely amazing! This tour exceeded all expectations. The entire area was unbelievable — the architecture, the design, and the creativity behind every structure were truly awe-inspiring. It gave us a much deeper appreciation for Gaudí’s genius and his unique approach to blending art, nature, and engineering. The immersive exhibits and interactive elements were both engaging and educational, making it enjoyable for all ages. We especially appreciated how the experience brought Gaudí’s vision to life in a way that was easy to understand, even for those who aren’t architecture experts. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Barcelona. Make sure to take the guided tour for the full experience — it adds so much value and insight that you simply can’t get on your own. You won’t regret it!

he store is a delightful spot to explore, filled with unique souvenirs that capture the essence of the city. From handmade crafts to fun mementos, it’s perfect for finding gifts or keepsakes. The small cinema inside adds a charming touch, offering a cozy space to enjoy films that reflect local culture and stories. Visiting feels like a mini cultural adventure, combining shopping, entertainment, and a taste of the city’s personality.

Google
Nice educational 4D movie for all ages that helps you understand Gaudi’s inspirations and works. We were only 6 people in the movie room. I am sure there would be more people if the price would be lower. Interactive walls were not well communicated as well. It is also a nice concept store with screens and miniatures. Again, more people would enter the store for shopping if the movie price is better positioned and mentioned outside the starting times with an LED screen.

absolutely loved visiting the Gaudí Experience Store in Barcelona! It’s much more than just a souvenir shop – it feels like a mix between a boutique, a museum, and even a small cinema. The Gaudí-inspired items are beautiful, unique, and perfect for bringing a little piece of Barcelona home. What impressed me most was the immersive cinema that takes you through Gaudí’s life and his incredible creations – it gave me a much deeper appreciation for his genius. The whole place is well-designed, informative, and inspiring. A must-visit for anyone interested in Gaudí and Barcelona’s artistic soul!

Not bad, not good, Park Tickets sold out so we discovered this place for a 4D Gaudi tour, we have been told it is a 20 min session, but finished in 15 mins and there was an unnecessary entry video for about 5 mins as well, if you may find park tickets this ride is not worth to experience.
