Beware: tourist trap! Don't order fish by weight.
When ordering the 'fresh fish' or 'fish of the day', the staff tries to point to you to that dish on the menu; one of the few dishes they price per KG. Me and my girlfriend ordered two types of fresh fish (we got dorade which we ordered, and parrot fish, which we didn't order..). We finished the fish and it wasn't bad, but when we got the bill it said we got 2.3KG of fish. For 96 euro!
We did see the kg-price on the menu, but they put a much heavier weight on the bill (because you can't check).
I've worked in fishmarkets for nearly 8 years. I know the head of any fish etc has weight aswell, which you price, but can't eat. But that does NOT account for 2.3kg fish for two people. We have been on the island for 5 months now and had many restaurants with better fresh fish at 1/2 to even 1/4 of the price!
When confronting the staff, you get the classic excusing talk: "but we have the prices on the menu" and "but you liked the food, yes?".
Recommend to stay clear of this place. Truly a shame they do this, because they have other dishes that are prepared quite well and are indeed reasonable priced.
