Why Istanbul Should Be on Every Traveler’s Radar in 2022
"A former gasworks building reimagined to include a science center, climate museum, theater and concert stages, library, bookshop, and marketplace for locally-made crafts. It also features a contemporary gallery and craft workshops."
The people at the information point are very kind and willing to help, they also have maps for other sites in the citiy so you should go here first if you are a tourist in the city.
The place is perfect for learning science, it tells you stories and data while showing you graphics, images, or even interactive istanaltions. The structures are part of the old building so they are always good for some pictures. It also had some art exhibition.
The place has a Cafeteria inside.
I really liked the idea of being free entry but kids use it to play soccer and Hide'n'seek inside., so they should control that.

Nice place with free exhibition, free toilet, perfect to visit when in Kadikoy. It’s great that they renovated old building instead of building new one, it has very unique design

Beautifully done facilities. They have museums, coffee, shops, open air objects to explore. Nowadays, they have a wonderful show about Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in one of the two museums.

The three stars are for the climate change exhibition. The rest of the site appears to have not been finished, with everywhere else closed off apart from the gallery (and cafe). Worth going for the climate exhibition if you are nearby, but I wouldn't make a special journey for it.

A beautiful and creative urban transformation of a former coal gashouse facility into great public places including an art gallery, performance stages, a climate museum, bookstore with a large selection, cafe, sculptures, and a playground.

As far as the free museums go it's one of the best (The best one is the Smithsonian in Washington). Some displays were out of order, but the whole place is educational and informative. We learned new things about global warming and its effects. They also have cafes and bathrooms for short breaks. Knowing that this place used to supply gas to my childhood home is another level of nostalgia.

It is an amazing location where you find both delicious and affordable food options in the restaurant and cafe within the facility.
You can enjoy art galleries, energy museum, weekly free concerts and workshops. It has a wide study hall and a library that has well equipped air conditioning opportunity.
I would definitely recommend it to people looking for remote work locations.
