A lovely museum and if you are a foodie, it is a must. Gaziantepe is considered a culinary City and is a UNESCO world heritage site for food products and they have something like officially registered and certified foods that are unique to this region. The museum does a great job explaining various traditional foods in great detail. Too much to remember in a day. They even have a computer screen that shows recipes. They served us fresh traditional food while we were there and it was amazing.

Fabulous museum ad others have stated. It's all in Turkish but we used our phone to translate everything. Fascinating and so well done! And it's less than $1 to enter. We were also served a fresh and tasty savory flatbread treat at no charge; made by the hotel staff. So glad we visited!!!

Stumbled over this hotel on my way back from the castle decided to go in since I was already there. It's a small place, but still has alot of information. If you don't go here, you don't miss out on much, but it's worth a quick look if your nearby. For me 10-15 minutes was enough.

Interesting place to while away some time if you happen to visit Gaziantep, especially if you enjoy food.
The museum is set in an interesting house not far from the castle. It is well designed and has static displays of the culinary history of the area. Most importantly, write ups are both in Turkish and English.
Take the time to locate this museum the day you visit the castle - if you are interested in food.
