We enjoyed an excellent visit to Vajra. The winery is beautiful- the first I’ve visited with stain glass windows and a tree in lower cellar. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, the wines were all delicious and of exceptional quality. Truly world class. Highly recommend.

Great wine tasting with Lucca (I hope too much Barolo didn’t make me confuse the name :). We tasted a great variety of the wine - out favorite was Bricco del Viole :) 🍷 we will be back for sure !

Our wine tasting at G.D. Vajra was unforgettable! Luciano was incredible - so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. He took a lot of time to walk us through the history of the winery and each of the wines we tasted (which were all fantastic). A truly special experience and a must-visit in Barolo!

Beautiful property, area, and tasting room. We enjoyed the experience. I believe it was Lucian who was our guide, both were friendly and very knowledge. The wine we tasted (2021 vintages) in my opinion were a bit floral and delicate - very good but not exceptional, but overall it was a nice experience.

We had an amazing visit and discovered fantastic Barolo wines, learned about the history of the vineyard and it's winemaker. Elena was a brilliant host and incredibly knowledgeable. I can't wait for the new facility to be ready - it will be epic.

I arrived to taste some amazing Barolo wines but received what you see in my photo. The Barolo I tasted was way too young (2021). I’ve cancelled my other tastings at other large producers in Barolo as you are only a number. I will move on to smaller, family owed wineries in Barolo where they value new customers and let you preview the wine you read about in Wine Advocate.
