They were very generous with the tasting! They're still my favorite producer, love the bricco delle viole barolo! Everyone was extremely nice. They accommodated us even though we arrived early.

We enjoyed an excellent visit to Vajra. The winery is beautiful- the first I’ve visited with stain glass windows and a tree in lower cellar. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, the wines were all delicious and of exceptional quality. Truly world class. Highly recommend.

Great wine tasting with Lucca (I hope too much Barolo didn’t make me confuse the name :). We tasted a great variety of the wine - out favorite was Bricco del Viole :) 🍷 we will be back for sure !

Beautiful property, area, and tasting room. We enjoyed the experience. I believe it was Lucian who was our guide, both were friendly and very knowledge. The wine we tasted (2021 vintages) in my opinion were a bit floral and delicate - very good but not exceptional, but overall it was a nice experience. Update Oct. 28, 2025: the bottle of Barbera d Alba Superiore 2023 drank amazingly at home!

Very nice tasting, and delicious wines! It was great to get the geeky deep dive from our knowledgeable guide. Would definitely recommend booking a tour and tasting here. It looks like they're close to complete with a brand new building to host these as well.

What a wonderful visit. You can feel the passion for making the best wine possible when you walk thru the doors and you can taste the results in every bottle. Meeting Milena and Giuseppe made the visit even more special. Umberto described the wines like a poet. Must visit when in Peimonte.

Our wine tasting at G.D. Vajra was unforgettable! Luciano was incredible - so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. He took a lot of time to walk us through the history of the winery and each of the wines we tasted (which were all fantastic). A truly special experience and a must-visit in Barolo!
