Gecko Beach Club

We had a lovely table and lovely food until we pulled out a very long hair from our meal. The waitress saw and said yes I saw that, came over after and said they were ‘inviting us for that meal’ the meal we couldn’t eat for a hair, of course we shouldn’t pay for that we couldn’t eat it. As it was towards the end of the meal we didn’t want a new one… we asked if we could sit by the pool afterwards and they let us but honestly to just take the coffees of the bill and not make a gesture or give much of an apology in any other way isn’t what you expect from 5 star. I work with hotels around the world as have an agency and sadly I would have expected better. It’s a shame as the food was great but the way that was handled was really not as good as it should have been.

The food was okay, definitely not worth what you pay for. The grilled fished came raw and they had to finished in the oven and the ceviche was okay. 45 min between the appetizer and main dish. The place is beautiful and the service was good.

Reserved a beautiful Bali Bed with champagne and fruit. My friends and I laid out for the day, and it was so peaceful. Nice relaxing music in the background, great service for food and drinks, and very welcoming staff throughout. We definitely came on a quiet Friday (May 23rd) since for most of our time there we were the only ones laying out on the Bali beds/loungers, besides the cute geckos.

What a great spot. Rooms are wonderful and staff all enthusiastic and helpful. Food and drinks delicious. Bike rental nearby. Easy to bicycle anywhere on the island

Amazing location and very professional staff. The food was very nice but very expensive (we had food of similar quality in other places for half the price). Amazing alioli sauce. No regrets and we enjoyed it, but I felt the prices were dictated more by the luxury feel of the place rather than by the quality of the food.

We had an amazing time at this restaurant. The wine and food were top-notch, and the staff was exceptionally attentive. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

Avoid avoid avoid Horrendous customer service Wasn’t able to attend but still took €400 from my account. Zero empathy and couldn’t care less, all the want it the min charge! Save your money for somewhere better!
