What an amazing dining experience at Geet. The 5 course tasting menu literally blew us away. Each dish was carefully crafted flavour explosions! Indian fine dining at it's best! 1. Cheese garden fantasy. This dish was completely vegetarian but WOW. I honestly think this was my favourite of the night! We asked for 'Indian spicy' and they delivered. 2. Tom Yum soup. I had chicken and Ash had seafood. This was his favourite dish of the night. Honestly, perfect winter, comfort food. 3. Trio mix platter 4. Goshtaba 5. Chugur gosht 6. Chocolate and date samoosa with pistachio kulfi 7. Shrikhand with mango kulfi It's no wonder Geet has won as many awards as it has because this was one of the best dining experiences we've had this year and DEFINITELY the best Indian food in Gauteng.

Nothing compares to Geet. Geeta, the owner is just simply amazing! Her warm smile and soft voice warms your soul before her food, and beautiful private restaurant takes you on an adventure. We had a 3 course meal, and it really did take us on a trip through great old india. I can only imagine how amazing the 8 course tastings are! Her ingredients are hand sourced and imported from countries around the world - and you can taste that! I can not wait to return and experience even more. It is arguably one of the best indian restaurants in the world. For sure, it is one of the most awarded restaurants in South Africa. Make a booking, you will be wined and dined like a Maharaja!

Enjoyed a 5 course Indian food adventure. The place is beautiful at night, lovely ambiance. The food was just exquisite, and the service top notch. Would definitely go back again and again. The head chef and owner gave a brief history of Indian food and preparation.

Geet has and continues to set the standard for Indian dining. The menu is enormous. Everything is so tantalising and it's really difficult to pick what to have. The food is amazing, flavourful, good portions. It lived up to my high expectations and I was happy to see that the quality is as good as I remember. The service is 10/10. The wine list is excellent. I tried a cocktail - didn't enjoy it. My only criticism is the venue itself. While I appreciate the classic look, I feel like it could use a bit of a facelift if it hopes to compete with the likes of Modern Tailors.

If you’re looking for an intimate dining and wining place during the day or evening, either for a small intimate(2) group or for a larger group then this is the place for you. The place is absolutely stunning and spacious. The waiters and waitresses were friendly, our order did not take forever. Did not seem to have a lot of pescatarian options but enjoyed my time here and the vegetarian Briyani that I had, great portions also.

Probably the best Indian cuisine restaurant i have ever been to outside of India.

Amazing experience and the food is SUPERB. Payed them a visit during restaurant week and I was not at all disappointed. The vegetarian options were simple just as good, if not better, than the non-veg options. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for an Indian fine-dining experience.

Great food let down by very slow and inattentive service. We were greeted by who I assume was the owner and promptly seated. Was offered a bottle of water for the table and papadums with a sauce and pickle to nibble on. Menus were brought a bit later and I have to say I have never seen so many pages and different dishes in a menu. Never seen such a confusing menu before. It's a little too much but I guess if you like 24, yes, 24 pages of variety to choose from, this would be your chance. Ordered the pani puri. Took a very long time to come to the table. Thereafter I ordered a beer and the mains. Ordered the lamb Laal Mirch, chilli paneer and chicken bepudi masala. Mains took quite a while to come to the table as well. Was told 2 Naan would be enough for the 2 of us but the naans are extremely small for the price compared to other restaurants, had to order another 2. Naan was very light and tasty though. Decided to try the ghajar halwa which to our surprise was served inside a samoosa. My wife and I were so confused, called the waiter to confirm they brought the correct dish. In summary, food was nice, not the greatest but acceptable. Would I come back? I doubt it. Biggest let down was the poor and slow service even though the restaurant had about 4 tables occupied.
