I enjoyed my stay here. The setting is superb - always lots to watch! The washing machines and dryers were good and there is a very small kitchen, the showers (extra cost) were time limited, paid by credit card and not very clean, the loos were OK - bit of a hike for most campers. Everything was a bit overpriced but decent value given the season and location. It was a bit chaotic with people turning up late and parking wherever they felt like.

A beautiful surrounding, nature at its best, The air feels crisp and pure, carrying a serene silence that makes the whole experience magical. Every turn reveals a new vista—snow on peaks and untouched natural beauty. The fjords truly feel like nature’s masterpiece, a sight that leaves you humbled and in awe.

Great camping in the center of Geiranger with view over the fjord. The toilets and showers were clean and no line. The showers are paid and you have 5min of water from the moment you paid, so recommend paying once you are ready to get into the water only. It gets pretty crowded with tourists as the camping is right next to the cruise and the city center. So if you want some privacy, choose the spots further from the main road.

The campsite offers a positive experience with friendly service and clean facilities, including ample water access. While the area attracts a high volume of tourists and features numerous local shops, it's important to note that the village itself is relatively small. Prior to your visit, it is recommended to ensure your vehicle's fuel tank is full. The area provides an excellent opportunity to experience nature at its finest.

This is a lovely, spacious campsite with fantastic views of the fjord and waterfall. However, like most campsites in Norway, the system of choosing your spot where there’s available space raises some concerns, as not everyone follows the rules. The number of sanitation facilities and showers is far too limited for the amount of spots available. They were also consistently dirty—despite checking multiple times, the cleanliness never improved. It’s also relatively expensive, but I guess they take advantage of the fact that people have no other choice since many are taking the ferry or passing through. Overall, a beautiful location but not the most convenient or cleanest campsite.

This is a camping ground with an awesome view of the Geiranger Fjord. It's not possible to pre-book, but arrive early for a spot. We were able to choose our spot on arrival. Payment accepted by credit card. Facilities are in good shape, kitchen and washing up facilities, and separate toilet/shower/wash sink facilities for women and men. Extra charge for hot water, but payment by card is accepted. When a cruise ship arrives, the small town is heaving with tourists, but it's a fine location to enjoy the nature and waterfalls filling this wonderful fjord.

Geiranger campsite was in a great location. Customer service was excellent, as we were able to book a ferry trip for the next morning with the help of the campsite staff. Outdoor activities were also nearby, although there were very few of them now as the road leads down and up (no sidewalks). In the morning you could watch the big cruise ships sailing along the fjord towards Geiranger harbour.

The location is good, there's a river where it meets the fjord. There's also a grocery store nearby. However, this camp site is very busy. There's one road hundreds of people use (walking and driving). For a very huge campsite, more toilets and shower rooms should be added. Imagine waiting for a lot of time for a 5- minute shower (you have to pay to have a hot shower), anf they're not so clean all the time. Lastly, there's not a lot of electrical cord, so either you have to go very early or not have a power supply.
