A great spot for spending the night and arriving via the ferry or the eagle highway. Part gravel pitches - ours was right on the edge of the Fjord. Waterfall walk and museum right behind campsite (800m or so walk up steps) . Lots of signposted walks out of area. Showers require tokens and hot water v slow! I would suspect great for serious walkers.

This is an absolutely amazing place for camping, beautiful and very clean! A bit crowded but has all the necessary amenities, a great hub to roam around and it's quite cheap! Highly recommended!

Perfectly located at the end of the Gairanger Fjord with direct view on the Fjord and big cruise ships. 5min walking to the small shop village and pier for the Fjord boat trip. The sanitary facilities are okay, but the showering time in combination with the low hot water pressure is too short. The camper spots are graveled for parking and green in front of the door.

Locations is fantastic, the facilities are great but you have to pay extra for a hot shower. The staff are fantastically polite, especially the Norwegian chap who works/owns the site.

-There should be more sanitary facilities for the amount of people staying there. -Can be a little noisy if the cruise ships are docking early in the morning. -Amazing view of the Geirangerfjord.

Busiest place in Norway? It was like a battle field when we arrived, people everywhere (due to cruise ship) and campsite a bit half-chaos too. But in the end we found a halfdry spot to set the tent on. The public spaces are OK but kitchen only opened 8am (but they unlocked a bit earlier) was a bit late if you are an early bird with kid and dog... There is no better location/view but the crowd kills it. We really recommend to look at the cruise ship schedule and try avoid coming at those days. We tried our best...

Very very nice owner! The campground was full and we still got to stay with our bikes and a tent outside of the campsite. It was very busy and there are only 7 showers for the whole campsite, so you had to cue at peak shower time. It’s a very touristy place…

Perfect place for just one night and exploring the locality. Large cruise ships full of tourists arrive here, so it makes no sense to stay here any longer. The camp is well equipped, the toilets are modern and kept clean.
