As we drive towards the fjord, hang a sharp left down towards the campsite, we're greeted by Geraingerfjorden Feriesenter many cabins. Maria checked us in, and is very helpful to suggest activities. |We took the boat for a two hours cruising in the calm fjord waters. Great view od waterfalls, we had two cruise ships made port call. |We had a two bedrooms cabin, plenty of space, lounge and dining area, a patio overlooking the fjord. Pity it was raining a fair whence no too conducive to sit on patio to enjoy the view.|Kitchen is well equipped.

First of all the service was super. Nice and helpful. Beautiful place for camping right next to the water. Toilets, showers and kitchen/ laundry room where cleaner and newer then any place a stayed at on my trip. Highly recommend!

Amazing location!!! We drove there from Sweden during summer, but the road was in such a natural set up from green summer mountains to cold snow covered valleys and torrent rains - as if we experienced multiple seasons all at once. Geiranger is an amazing place! Very beautiful, but on cloudy days it might look a bit gloomy. During high tourist time, it can be very crowded, so that's a thing to consider. Also, the food prices are extremely high. If possible, bring your own basic spices, and dry foods, then you can buy something simple from the COOP here and cook it in your cabin. Most of the cabins usually come with a cooking stove and basic utensils. So that shouldn’t be a problem. Avoid drinking or dining outside, instead use that money to spend more nights here, or visit somewhere else e.g. Lom, or Lovatnet. We wish we had at least a week planned here, we stayed only 3 days 🙁

Deluxe cabin was amazing. Kitchen is better than ours at home. Incredible view from inside cabin and on large porch. Cabins were quiet despite proximity to busy camping area. Staff is very helpful. Relaxing respite from the chaos of the town when the iron leviathans are in port.

Very good camping. Super new facilities, showers, kitchen, washing machines and driers (x2). Superb spot for fishing as well. Probably our best quality camping so far out of 6 so far. Only downside is the lack of a room to eat something (if you are with a tent). Recommended!

We have such great time staying 2 nights at the cabin on this Holiday site. Really enjoyed the wood deck patio Just outside of the door. Great location, close to water. We also rented their motor boat to enjoy the fjord at a closer distance. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't use the public bathroom and kitchen, but inside is very very clean and modern. Would love to come back again.

We stayed for a night in the hotel part of the place. Love how all of the rooms face the water no matter what floor you are on! The balconies are a lovely place to sit down for a snack and a drink. We watched a cruise ship leave the harbor while we were eating dinner, it was very pretty with the sun setting at as well. Amazing food and service!

We spent two nights in a cabin and had a great time! We stayed in a basic cabin and had wanted to upgrade to a deluxe but ultimately found that was not necessary. The basic cabin was very well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the linens and pillows provided were very good. Two of us had more than enough room to sleep in the bottom of the bunk bed together. The seating areas (one indoor and two outdoor) were all comfortable and you CANNOT beat the views! The kitchen had everything needed for basic meal prep and we ended up spending more time at the cabin than planned. It was good to get away from the crowds when the cruise ships were in port and cooking and eating here was a much nicer experience. The TV has all the streaming services and made nice background noise when needed. The wifi was sufficient, but overloaded during peak times during the early evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again!
