Always long line here. It's ok gelato for me. It's hot day so melted really quick. Cheaper than the one across. 4.50 euro for 2 scoops.

Cozy place to eat an ice cream in Brugge! Love the taste of the interior architect, very crazy and trendy decoration, almost like a museum! Milkshake was very good, very happy tourists 😍😍🫰

Great choices. Sometimes long queues so come back another time! My photos show the trays first thing on opening, but you get there later and some are empty!

Plenty of vegan flavours- all the fruity ones and dark chocolate. The dark chocolate was the most smooth and not overly bitter I have ever had! The mango sorbet was smooth too! Was not disappointed 😁

Service was incredible, the person working let me try two flavors upon entering, and gave great recommendations. There a more quite a few tables to eat in and the music was great. Gelato was delicious, rich, and flavorful. Must try!

What a lucky random find! Best gelato I've had outside of Italy by a long shot. The pistachio was sooo cream and the passionfruit was tart yet smooth (and lactose free for those who are intolerant!) - And yes, they let you try before you order. An absoute gem, go here!

Good but not the best gelato we have had, This place is very popular and the counter person was very enthusiastic as to his job and the flavors. There seemed to always be a line. To me, the flavors were very muted and the gelato had a way too smooth a texture. Very bland and no real exciting flavors. There were several varieties and you could taste any you wanted before purchase, In fact, you didn't have a choice as the server gave you a sample as soon as you asked a question about a flavor. While there seems to be no such thing as bad gelato, we compared to to others we have had and found this wanting. As soon as we left we went across the street to Oyya and wished we had tried there instead.

All flavors are amazing! I got 2 scoops: Brownie and Ferroro Rochero for 3.50 euros -- the brownie was so rich, incredibly very "brownie," while the ferroro rochero was nice and light. Good balance for each other. All the ice cream here is quite light and soft. The creamy-ness tasted deeper, somehow not as milky as USA's (hard to explain).

Amazing! This is what gelato should be, affordable snack for multiple visits in a day at Brugge. They are chirpy and cheerful when you request for samples, which is A+++ for service. I decided to try speculous - Amazing Belgian flavor, a must try when you're here! I also had tropika another time just to switch it up! Overall, highly recommend this place to fulfill your gelato cravings, you won't be disappointed!

Second time I got gelato in a day and I had no regrets. I went during a pretty busy hour with a couple of others but the servers were extremely welcoming and helped us once we immediately got closer to the counter. The shop's atmosphere was very bright, colorful, and happy! I'd say it fits for a gelato shop The prices were reasonable and didn't make me feel guilty for getting it a second time within hours. I ordered a single scoop of Fantasia, which is peanut caramel. The gelato was fluffy and creamy at the same time. Love, love, love it!

Da Vinci Gelateria is AH-MAZING. The flavor options are fantastic, I chose Ferrero Rocher and Snickers. The mister had Stracciatella that included huge chunks of chocolate. YUM! I've never been to Italy, but between all the countries I visited in Europe (Benelux and Germany), this tops them all. The line/mass of people crowding over everyone seems long, but moves very quickly, so don't be afraid to wait!

my girlfriend and I wandered in during our day trip to Bruges. it was freezing and raining but this gelato place was blasting music and we felt drawn in. the worker was EXTREMELY kind--he OFFERED us samples, which is sth NO ONE has done to us anywhere (usually you have to ask). we were freezing from outside but we ended up getting pandan and speculoos gelato. the gelato is AMAZING. we come from an area with a really well known gelato place (not going to name it), but their serving sizes are smaller and prices are more expensive. plus I'm a big fan of taro and the pandan tastes JUST like taro. definitely come here and try something!

Great ice cream and really friendly staff! They will let you try any flavor and all we're so tasty! Ended up getting the Tiramisu which was delicious! Great price for a tasty treat while walking around Bruges.

Authentic Italian ice cream place in the heart of Brugge. Very friendly staff and large selection Italian Gelato and my favorite one mint chocolate chip. Haven't seen this one in many places in Europe.

Da Vinci put my faith back in ice creams. For a €1-1.5 a scoop, this magnificent ice cream will melt other ice creams to shame! Yes, they still make good ice creams. Unfortunately, you have to travel all the way to Brugge for it. Yes, along with the whole package of the town/mini city, it's worth it! I had pistachio if you want to know. Don't even think of getting that ice cream from the street vendor! You want this and only this. Sorry no photos, my mind was in ice cream heaven while I was licking this and forgot about the Kodak moment.

Ice-cream lovers do not have particularly high expectations but they do expect their ice cream to taste good and to be served in a generous amount especially if the price is not exactly low. What we got were two tiny spoons (priced 4.50€) that did not taste particularly well with a meringue on top with a very strong smell of eggs. The poor service and the fact that the ice cream was not even well presented just added some more disappointment to the mix. I strongly suggest the owners to work on their ice cream recipes, among other things.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled into this lovely little gelateria in Brugge. The staff are very nice and cheery (and give lots of free samples if you just ask!), and the gelato is heavenly! Also they make it fresh every single day, which is my favorite thing about this place. We liked Da Vinci so much that we came 3 nights in a row! Night #1: I ordered 1 scoop of mango and 1 scoop of Ferrero Rocher. At first I wasn't too sure about Ferrero Rocher when the ice scream scooper told me it was their most popular flavor, but it was actually strikingly delicious! It even had little Ferrero Rocher chunks in it, which gave the gelato a pleasant but not overwhelming crunch! The mango was probably my favorite though. I love that you can really taste the freshness of the fruit, AND it's not too sweet! Night #2: 1 scoop of mango because I liked it so much the first night and 1 scoop of banana. Also not too sweet; very mellow and tasty! Night #3: 1 scoop of passion fruit. This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you like a sour tang in your gelato, you might enjoy this flavor a lot. I sure did! Overall a wonderful experience. The gelato is made fresh, and 1 scoop is just 1.30€. I couldn't ask for a better gelateria!

Stumbled upon this place in May 2011 as I was riding my bike rental around town. Park your bike in front and get ready for some of the most delicious gelato you've ever had -- a taste of Italy in the preserved old town center of Bruges. Just don't wander too far outside the town center and have a near-miss with a car like I did :-) Can't go wrong with any of the flavors here. Be sure to check out the bar nearby called Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.

Super crowded. Pretty good. It was cool that they topped it with a little cookie for something unique. Got this while walking around the city to kill some time. Not the best I've had but definitely passable. I really like the ferrero rocher flavor.

Pretty darn good gelato. Great flavors I haven't seen anywhere else- 2 big scoops (bigger than I've gotten most places in Europe) for €3. I got white chocolate cookie dough and Mozart- would recommend both. Not the best I've had in my whole life but I heard from my host family that it's the best in Brugge and it's really good! Also the man who helped me (I think he's the owner) was super nice. Which to me matters almost just about as much. I ate my gelato in the rain and it was still delightful. Enjoy!!!

Great selection of flavors and they taste great too! I had the speculoos and coffee and was very impressed. Interior decor is a bit hokey but the taste of the gelato more than makes up for it.

Simply wow. The Nero Nero (dark chocolate) was incredible. Place is cheap too. Everyone enjoyed. Unlike many ice cream places around Europe, this place does not mind if you try all the flavors first. Service super friendly with a smile. Highly recommend

I tried the Ferrero Rocher, After Eight, and Speculoos flavors (no fruit allowed on vacation!) They all tasted exactly how you would expect--delicious! Great price, love the 80s vibe. It's too hard to compare all of the gelatos of the world--and why bother because I don't know if bad gelato is even possible. All I know is this is the best in Bruges :)

Lucky for us, my husband wanted ice cream. Our server was so friendly and helped us choose 2 of the 4 flavors we wanted - banana, mango, apple pie and caramel leche. Soo yummy. And he cheerfully helped with narrowing choices for a chocolate company to buy gifts from. Love Brugge and its people. Amazing little town.

Just found this place by accident and one of the best gelato shops I have had. Must visit in Brugge!
