Was my last night in Rome on my 5 day trip , visited La Romana , and even though the queue was long, it was absolutely worth it. The staff were energetic and welcoming, but one person truly stood out. The young lady who prepared my gelato was incredibly kind, smart, and engaging.
Despite the crowd, she never rushed me. She explained the flavours with a smile, paid close attention to what I wanted, and made the whole moment feel relaxed. I chose Stracciatella, mango, and another flavour she personally recommended,I didn’t catch the name because it was so busy, but her suggestion was perfect.
The gelato was unbelievably delicious. When I finished, I asked her name and saw it on her badge: Talia. She turned a simple gelato stop into a genuinely memorable experience.
Thank you, Talia, for the amazing ice cream and the even better service. ❤️🍨🇮🇹
