"Hands down, the creamiest gelato in Genoa Hidden down the Vico Superiore del Ferro, this tiny shop is a secret gem. While most gelaterias keep their colorful products out in plain view, luring children in from the street with their mounds of chocolate and mango and black cherry, Gelateria Profumo prefers to hide theirs in shiny frozen silver canisters. And yet tucked inside those containers are some of the most delicious, interesting flavors in town - and hands down, the creamiest."

Really good gelato in Genova! Tried a 3 scoops gelato with pandolce, salted pistachio and dark chocolate. Even though chocolate tasted a bit too sweet (but wonderful), it was my best Italian ice cream for quite a long time! Hidden in a little street, it is well worth the detour and the friendly staff makes it an even better experience

Ladies and gentlemen, this is THE BEST gelato I have ever had. Toss my hat! It’s a little hidden and tucked a way but it’s such a gem when you find it. The lady inside was very helpful and generous with samples. I had salted pistachio and fig/cinnamon, both were out of this world. The stark flavours transported me into a mental fairytale. An unforgettable experience. I’d go to Genova again just for this gelato. Please come here, it’s in your own best interest!

Good ice-cream, few flavors. We came because of Lonely Planet recommendation but the service... damn, so rude. We came with my daughters and the 2 women were so rude, with no patience, and almost treating us like stupid. We asked for recommendations of course they did the eye roll. Would not recommend coming here because of the service. We had better ice cream in other places in Italy and Genova with such better service.

One of the best gelato I have ever eaten in my life. Quite big variety of flavors and they are so delicious. The place is really lovely and climatic ice cream parlor, definitely deserves 5 stars

We were very happy when we found the ice cream parlor in a small alley of the old town. The ice cream was the best we ate in Genoa! I taste the Mango flavour of my child and it felt like biting in a ripe fruit! Amazing!! The prices are more than fair for the quality of the ice cream! Definitely highly recommended! …for children, a small cup with 2 flavors is sufficient (see photo)! ;)

One of the best we had in Genoa. There was a short queue, waited for a short time, even there was only one lady serving. The street and the small plaza near by not so pretty but ice cream tasty enough to enjoy.

Amazing ice cream, has been awarded as one of the best ice cream parlors in Italy and you can taste it. A must when in Genova.
