Gelateria Tomaselli - Hofgasse

Visited here after seeing many positive reviews. I was bit disappointed with Pistachio gelato. It was pure white in color with hints of pistachio flavor. The coffee espresso was very good though. It no where tasted like gelato and was very sweet. Though ice creams were good and recommend to it but definitely not the best ones.

Highly recommended as a less busy branch, versus their always crowded main outlet. Flavours are more limited, but the hazelnut and caffe espresso i got were both fantastic.

Hands down the best pistachio gelato I've ever tried. My partner and I have been on the hunt to find a match over our Europe holiday but cannot. So glad we chose this spot.

I came here with my family, they ordered Mozart ans they loved it and I ordered chocolate and it was better ( o tried both ) it was a very good stop with the heat

A tempean take on the usual gelid temptation. Open late night with several vegan flavors. However the total selection is somewhat limited possibly due to the constraints of a truncated store frontage.

While the gelato is pretty good, one of the staff was really rude. She literally made a face towards me, as an English speaking tourist, when I ordered, while smiled warmly when speaking in German to another guest. Ice cream is made to make people happy. While you have the magic to make a good scoop, your staff just ruined this experience and hence 2 star.

Best Eis！I had another gelato in another shop yesterday which I thought it was good. Tomaselli has larger and reasonable portion which I failed to eat them all up. So notice ice cream lover, if you are having this after dinner, it would be better just 1 scoop at a time even though we are greedy. I recommend the one with hazelnutwaffle (maybe napoleon something can’t recall) which I think it is special and also delicious. I also had Choco-banana which I think it is less better.
