THE BEST ICE CREAM IN THE WORLD!! We have travelled to a lot of places and eaten various gelatos in our life, but this is hands down the best you will find. Do no miss out going to Zampolli!! It is always busy for a reason!! Highly recommend!

One of the best ice creams I've ever had! A wide variety of flavors, from ice cream to sorbets! Reasonable prices for top-quality products! The place is always crowded, which proves the quality of the products, but the service is fast because there are enough staff!

Absolutely delicious ice cream. We went yesterday and we will for sure go before our flight tomorrow to try more flavours. Huge sortiment, big portions, friendly service. I fully recommend bacci flavours and pomegranate.

Sure, now and then, someone else might come close - maybe even match it for a fleeting moment - but Zampolli remains a Trieste legend, a regional treasure, and a small Italian wonder you simply cannot miss. Don’t overthink it. Just go. Taste. Ascend.

We just visited Trieste and went to this gelateria because of the positive reviews. There were ten of us, with four small children, but the people working there were very patient with us - no rushing or anything. They know good enough english for understanding each other and I reccomend trying their tiramisu alongside the gelato, it's delicious. A smaller portion but enough for one person, especially if you want to take gelato as well, just so you don't overeat :).

What can I say? You must go there and eat each of the ice creams they have. All the traditional ones + dessert inspired ones + went too far one (you need an example: peanuts!, green apple!, pear!) taste perfect. Not even one ice crystal present in the ice cream. Fruits are not sorbets. They are ice cream for real. We come to Triest dreading of those. Once I asked the owner if he has a r&d lab behind and he laughed. But told me that he is the one who creates them. In summer there is a Long waiting line bi matter what Time of the day you go there. Just try yourself. I am over enthusiastic about Zampolli. We love it!
