Gelateria Zampolli

Wow! So many flavours to choose from and some of them I don’t even know what that is. Yes, they have the picture symbol flavours but since it’s in Italian I don’t know some of them. I’d like to give suggestion to have a bit description written underneath the flavour. I got ricotta pistachios and it was really good! Will be back to try more flavours.

We just visited Trieste and went to this gelateria because of the positive reviews. There were ten of us, with four small children, but the people working there were very patient with us - no rushing or anything. They know good enough english for understanding each other and I reccomend trying their tiramisu alongside the gelato, it's delicious. A smaller portion but enough for one person, especially if you want to take gelato as well, just so you don't overeat :).

This is the most delicious ice cream I’ve ever tasted!!!!! A flavor for every mood 🤩 I tried the pistachio and senza nome 2 flavor and it was absolutely heavenly! 😋

It’s a must for Trieste! Naturally, it gets really crowded, but I got a frappe on a Monday morning and ofc it wasn’t crowded. They have so many flavors :)

Incredible gelatto, one of the best in Trieste for sure! People were standing in line waiting to get it and it was definitely worth it.

Couldn’t dream of more flavor and consistency. The yogurt 🍦 , peach 🍑 and dark chocolate 🍫 flavors are so good. Highly recommended!

Most local would recommend this place. Lots of flavor to choose from. Quite busy and better make up your mind.

What can I say? You must go there and eat each of the ice creams they have. All the traditional ones + dessert inspired ones + went too far one (you need an example: peanuts!, green apple!, pear!) taste perfect. Not even one ice crystal present in the ice cream. Fruits are not sorbets. They are ice cream for real. We come to Triest dreading of those. Once I asked the owner if he has a r&d lab behind and he laughed. But told me that he is the one who creates them. In summer there is a Long waiting line bi matter what Time of the day you go there. Just try yourself. I am over enthusiastic about Zampolli. We love it!
