Great experience and service. I will say, it did take me about about a month to get my scans back, but I personally chose the "flexible" timeline and it looks like the lab exploded in business basically overnight so I can't fault them for that! My understanding is that they're adding staff and have removed the "flexible" timeline option to speed things up. Timeline wasn't personally a big issue for me, but it's something you might want to be aware of. I'm 100% positive it will get evened out soon enough, and they were very communicative almost every step of the way. One small nit-pickey area of improvement I'd give is that I got notification that the lab received the film several days after USPS said it was delivered. Considering that USPS sometimes delivers based on vibes alone, a quicker notification that the film was at least received in-store would ease some anxiety I think. I'm new to film, and did not feel at all judged or mocked when two of my rolls came out completely blank - in fact they gave me store credit even though I'm the dadgum dingus. The roll that DID come out had great quality scans, and I'm excited to see the prints. Price-wise, I'd recommend choosing a cheaper lab if you're say, film-testing a camera and aren't sure if any of your pictures will come out well, got high and went wild taking pictures of the ceiling, or you gave your old point and shoot to your six year old nephew or something like that, but if you have a few rolls that you're confident are absolute bangers, go for it, they're honestly great.

If I could give more stars I would ! Gelatin Labs was referred to me by a photographer friend who uses this company regularly. I tried other lab companies before and this one is hands down the best experience I have had. I decided to do the Hi-C gel form and you can def tell it's on the film. Everything is so informative with examples to ensure you choose the right method for your film. Their support team is timely as well. Such gorgeous scans and easy access to them. I will be using this company for all my future film needs.

Definitely will be returning for more! I sent in two rolls of Kodak Ultramax and they turned out incredible!! I love the attention to detail each exposure receives, and I particularly appreciate how the color grading and gelforms turned out. I will say I was disappointed with how long the turnaround took. I sent them in two months ago and just got my negatives uploaded to Dropbox; however, the brand's transparency and quality were exemplary, and they responded to all of my questions. I would highly recommend this brand to my friends who shoot film.

Just got two rolls of Kodak Gold 200 developed and scanned by Gelatin, using their Hi C option and I’m seriously impressed. These are hands down the best quality scans I’ve received from any lab. The colors are rich and true to life, with great detail and minimal dust or scratches. Gelatin clearly takes their time and knows what they're doing. I’ll definitely be sending them more rolls. Highly recommend if you’re looking for pro-level results.

An excellent lab with great techs. I've sent 10 rolls of 120 film to Gelatin and 10/10 have come back flawless. Will certainly use their services again. My only gripe is that they have recently expanded their operation which extended the wait time for my scans (by a month!) I'd recommend the Fast Pass if you're on a deadline. Luckily, I was not.

Gelatin did a wonderful job! I shipped them 4 rolls, they did a great job developing and scanning them. I thought they weren’t worth it at the time, so I proceeded to get my next half dozen rolls botched at a more local film shop. Gelatin is 100% worth it for me, I’m not even that serious of a photographer. The color and contrast were wonderful straight from their scans. One of the rolls was light leaked so they cut some of the price out which was really nice, since it cost them the same anyway. I recommend Gelatin to all my buddies starting out, it is 100% worth the premium.

Sending my film to Gelatin Labs is probably the best decision I could have made as someone getting into film photography again. You get emails throughout your films your journey with Gelatin— so you’re not anxiously waiting. The scans come back beautifully and you get a little note back in the email from whoever developed and scanned them which is such a cute touch! I will forever be sending any film to them in the future.

I’ve only gotten my film developed from gelatin since I sent my first batch in. I can trust the product is going to turn out great! Best quality scans I’ve ever gotten!
