I loved this place! Service was wonderful & friendly, & the gelato was amazing. They really do have more unique flavors here than the other gelato places I've been to. I got a scoop of the Thai tea (w/ pieces of boba) gelato with coconut sorbet (w/ some pieces of shredded coconut) & a cookie straw/wafer. They were a great combo together. I'm glad you're just given a cute little shovel/spoon to eat the gelato with, because I couldn't put it down until it was finished. My boyfriend got one of the little espresso drinks. It tasted like a really smooth light brew (to us at least), but even though he doesn't like light brews he liked this drink. For the gelato, I definitely recommend tasting the flavors before you get them though, the one flavor that sounded nice to me but tasted so-so was the Matcha Lavender. It looks nice, but tastes like what lavender smells like.

I love this place! And i tried banana & peanut gelato ?! I think so lol it’s pretty good!

I stumbled in here because I needed a quiet place to write and was pleasantly surprised. Quaint from the outside and even moreso on the inside, you'll find ample coffee options and locally made, all natural gelato of the best quality. Helpful and genuinely friendly staff add to the charm of this little coffee shop.

Google
NEW OWNERSHIP! as of 4/19 and the coffee is back to A game level. New staff of baristas are killing it and I’m a regular again.

Google
The Gelato is yummy, but I got 2 iced coffees and it was $9, what? $4.50 a coffee- Regular black iced coffee. Ridiculous pricing.

It's true what they say. When one door closes, another one opens. I never thought I'd say I was glad that my favorite coffee shop closed, but it led me to this wonderful gem of shop, so I'd say it was a blessing in disguise. (For me, not the shop that closed) I have yet to try everything, but I've been nothing less than impressed by everything I've put in my mouth. If I ever hear anyone say they don't like espresso or cold brew, I'm bringing them here by force if I have to, cause this shop will change your life!

Wife and I stumbled upon this place while having lunch across the street and we're glad we did! Vegan gelato was delicious, but the lattes were outstanding. In a city where good coffee is abundant, this stood out. My wife had the lavender matcha and I the honeynut latte. We will be coming back as regulars now.

Google
Wow honestly the best cup of coffee I’ve had in a while! The barista really knows how to work with non-dairy milks and the espresso they use is very flavorful. I got a soy cap and my bf got an oat latte and both were insanely good! I’m excited to see what vegan gelatos they offer in the future.

Yelp
We just moved into this neighborhood and wanted to find a local "go to" coffee shop and Giorla's is amazing! Every time we have been, the staff have all been super friendly and welcoming, the coffee is top notch and on par with Starbucks prices so I would rather just come here and get quality coffee. Additionally the cafe is super clean, the customers tend to come to socialize or work on their laptops and they have been so welcoming with our dog aswell. Love this spot!

Yelp
It's was nice to walk into a cafe on Tujunga Ave and not get the "up & down" stare from my fellow customers. Very chill here which I appreciate! Another local Coffee Roasting house on my yelp radar that I can finally check off my list. What can I say, the cooler weather perks up my taste buds for hot drinks:) Jordan helped us order our drinks at the counter. It was a little cool & gloomy out so this girl was hankering for a "Hot Chocolate." I ordered a 16oz w/wm & x hot, ofc:) My daughter ordered a hot Chai Latte. We chatted with Jordan who was super friendly while we waited for our drinks. There is plenty of seating inside and a few cafe tables out front. I liked the energy here. *You walk in and feel welcomed. They also have some pastries and other bites you can order. Very clean inside and simple decor. Not sure if they have a restroom here. I didn't see one and none of the reviews mention one. A must especially if you are hanging here for a while...just sayin... *Free WiFi if you are looking to get some work done. No one bothers you either which I like. *Not Bouchée *Meter parking out front and residential parking but read the signs!

Yelp
I really like this neighborhood coffee house. The baristas are nice, and the coffee and pastries are yummy. My only suggestion, and reason for the lower score is the following: The cafe has become a silent library for people working on their computers all day, nursing one drink. It means people who want to come in to actually meet a friend for coffee and visit literally have no where to sit. My suggestion is that It would be great if the owner could put a sign on the tables and limit the amount of time people working on a computer can occupy a table. There are libraries if you want to spend all day on the computer working and it's free.

Yelp
Giorla's is easy to locate on Tujunga in Studio City. The interior is a bit tight (if you've been working on your Winter body), but there's also outdoor seating. We had a Vanilla Latte, Iced Black Tea, and received a free Iced Vanilla Latte from the very friendly employee. The iced tea was strong, delicious, and worth ordering.

Cecillee E.

Yelp
Limited street parking. Busy around 9 am sometimes. They have fresh toasted coffee beans. Plenty of seating indoor and on the side walk. Cute shops around. Dog friendly since i saw a customer with a large dog inside.

Renee C.

Yelp
This place has the best gluten free ricotta cake I've ever had in my life. I wanted a good pastry; this place seems like a great and quiet place to work at. I ordered the ricotta cake - I was skeptical at first, but it blew me away with how rich, buttery, and lemony it was. It was so good, that I had to go back the very next day and get a slice before I left for NYC! Next time I'm in LA, I'm coming back here

Miranda C.

Yelp
The coffee it'self is good and the place is clean but just BE AWARE, I noticed last time I was here that they have small sticker that says they charge 4% for the credit card fee that they are supposed to be paying. I just find that ridiculous and not to mention it's illegal.

Sara O.

Yelp
This is a great coffee shop for studying, working, or chatting with friends. There are plenty of seats, and the vibe is great all around. The coffee itself wasn't my favorite but the ginger chai is good for those who enjoy a strong ginger flavor and a unique twist on chai.

Yelp
Lovin' 'Giorla's Coffee,' here in Studio City, Los Angeles, CA. Once again, I was referred to check this coffee house out from the 'Muse House Retreat.' I ordered the largest size of my usual Hazelnut Latte. Parking: 10/10~I was super lucky again this past week, and I immediately located free street parking just a block down. It was super cold here when I showed up here this past Wednesday, so just make sure you are prepared for this serious Winter weather/2024 here in this area for some reason. I brought a few pieces of jackets with me since I knew I was going to walk from parking. Barista: 5/5~super friendly and efficient. I received my drink within less than 10min of wait time. The only drawback is this coffee shop closes super early. I wish they would remain open slightly later than 5pm, PST?! Ambiance~5/5~extremely neat and stylish all around their walls. I originally sat a tad bit towards the back when I was taking pics towards the back side of the coffee house, but I found more wall decorations when I moved up front, closer to the door. I spent a whopping 1/2 hour here trying to stock up as many pics as I could during my first initial visit. Tasty Latte!!!! I will be back again. Cya soon.

Yelp
Giorla's Coffee is a nice cozy place on the Tujunga strip. On a weekend afternoon, the strip is bustling, and there is even a small vendor fair. Parking is difficult, but there is parking when you circle around enough. The overall ambiance is calm, and so is the service. However, their coffee fell a bit short. I ordered an iced latte. There was a 3 or 4% credit card fee on top, and only one size was available. The espresso taste was stronger than most lattes that I've tried, but the drink was thankfully not too sour or bitter. Overall, it was drinkable but not enjoyable. The not so tasty experience left much to be desired from the aesthetic ambiance.

Yelp
I discovered this place yesterday while shopping at a boutique store next door and already came back today with my husband. I love everything about this coffee shop. The decor, the customer service, the coffee and the pastries. The ambiance is great with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is delicious and the pastries are unique and have good quality. Today I tried their Madeline and my husband got the blueberry muffin. The Madeline had a jam in the middle and tasted heavenly. It's probably the best dessert I had in a very long time. I'll go back just to have that. The blueberry muffin was moist and delicious. We loved both of them. I got a scone yesterday and that was great as well. So far I'm very happy and impressed with the quality of their food items and coffee. I'll be a stopping by again when in the area. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Shilpa D.

Yelp
Not a fan of the coffee at this shop. It looks like a cute boutique cafe that would have good coffee but the coffee is just mediocre - quality is more like a mall coffee shop vibe. The table set up is nice but for some reason it's kind of overly hot/stuffy inside the cafe. I've gone a couple times now when I am in the area and have been unimpressed both times. Admittedly, I can be a little bit of a coffee snob because LA has so many great coffee shops. But the service here is also not that friendly. I had an oat milk latte once and then an iced matcha latte the second time which were both just okay. The banana bread was pretty good. Service-wise, it's the same. The lady who checked us out seemed bothered by the questions I was asking about the food (when there was no one behind us on line) - definitely not a friendly local coffee shop vibe. They also charge a 4% CC fee which is a little crazy nowadays for a regular store. It would feel less weird if they just increased prices by 4%. And their tip choices started at 18% which for a cafe with no table service and annoyed employees is too much IMO. Aroma coffee isn't much better but I much prefer the staff and energy there. I likely won't be back as there are much better coffee shops nearby (just chk on yelp)!!!

Julia E.

Yelp
The service here is great! Everyone who works there is so nice, friendly and helpful! Might be my fav new coffee shop :)

Kit Michele G.

Yelp
UGH, so much potential! This is a really cute coffee shop that we stumbled upon. It gives local and small business vibes. The coffee itself was okay (ordered a standard vanilla latte and drip coffee). The latte foam was OKAY imo. Both were expensive for what they were. Also ordered an avocado toast, and however basic that may be, it was NOT good. Bread was too soaked, avocado mash tasted like it needed MUCH more salt (also pale green and tasted like old avocado), and the tomatoes on top also did not taste fresh, more like old salsa from what would've been a bruschetta. Service was also a miss, was standing in front of the counter waiting to order by a lady who was obviously newer and extremely frenzied. Would not recommend or return.

Yelp
Finally! A comfy, reasonably priced coffee shop in Tujunga Village! Giorla's Coffee is in the space that used to be occupied by Gelato Bar and Espresso Cafe. What an improvement! Giorla's offers espresso drinks, teas, pastries, breakfasts, and lunch sandwiches, as well as ice cream, all at fair prices. The interior is clean and fresh and lovely. The patio has plenty of outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and efficient. As an added plus, they keep a cache of Trader Joe's doggy cookies and treats for pooches who are there with their humans. My pug happily munched on a doggy cookie while I sipped my cappuccino. It was a superb cappuccino, creamy and with plenty of soft foam. Sandwiches are served open face on wooden sandwich boards. You select your meat (turkey or dry salami), cheese (mozzarella, provolone, or pepper jack), vegetables (micro greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, and onion), bread (sourdough, sesame wheat, or gluten-free), and spread (yellow or Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, veganaise, or olive oil). It is a light sandwich, and while I'm not quite sure it's worth $10, it's tasty and the presentation is beautiful. I'd get it again. I would be interested in trying the grilled cheese. This is a great addition to Tujunga Village. Yay!

Maddy M.

Yelp
I have a new crush and her name is Giorla. She is elegant, she is beautiful, stylish, friendly...I could go on. Situated on the quaint block of Tujunga with Vitello's, Aroma Cafe, Caioti, and many other boutique shops, you could easily pass this hidden gem; especially with parking being the way it is on that block. But do a lap or two around the block because Giorla's is worth the visit! The inside of the shop is just gorgeous. Simplistic and refined. A very elevated feel, but so welcoming at the same time. I cannot wait to come back here with my laptop. They have Wifi!!! I got a cold brew and my husband got a cortado. Coffee was great. I like how they had in depth descriptions of their beans, almost like tasting notes you would see on a wine menu. Team members here were VERY friendly and personable. They were happy to answer any questions we had about the drinks and the shop itself. They have some delicious pastries on display that I will definitely try next time. I'm dreaming of those brownies... I really enjoyed sitting outside at their bistro tables sipping on our drinks. A wonderful addition to the area! I wish Giorla's all the success.

Yelp
First timer today. The food in the to go fridge was almost empty. I ordered a Cordova for here. Ordered an ice water that was served in a clear plastic glass. My coffee was given in a glass clear mug. I sat outside under the awning with my dog in my lap enjoying the sunlight and shade with the wind slightly blowing. I love that I can feel like royalty just by sitting outside along the sidewalk outside a neighborhood hangout for coffee, sunshine a little people watching. I always loved this neighborhood. Aroma is just down the way with a huge line out the door but I prefer the small intimate pop up coffee shops. I think you guys should have an affogato on your menu. That's my one tip of advice. Summer vibes coming Soon! If I lived closer I'd be walking here weekly. Neighborhood vibes! Hollywoods Rich and Famous. I'll be back To Gloria's 2024 Customer of the Year creative for hire

Kieran M.

Yelp
Nice people and the vibe is good, but the blended mocha latte is a hard pass. I might try it again but it was really poor to be honest, and for $8, you'd be better off going elsewhere.

Michael A.

Yelp
Quaint little coffee shop during the day, have been to it a few times now. Solid spot to walk to and get a cup of coffee. Most of the baristas are pretty friendly. Coffee is pretty expensive for what it is, but I appreciate a good small business. Will continue to support this establishment.

Debbie E.

Yelp
I love Giorla's so much!! They make a delicious cappuccino and have fantastic pastries and other food options. The vibe of the interior space is perfect as well as the outdoor seating. This location is the best! I actually get excited when I'm heading over there. Giorla's is a treat!

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, but the service is very slow and the parking situation is awful. If you are on the go and don't have much time, skip this place, but if you have time, it's great.

jeff X.

Yelp
Best Cortado ever!! Awesome place. I've been coming every day! Very friendly staff. Great ambiance.

Mona G.

Yelp
+ friendly service. Seems like there was some barista training going on behind the counter but everyone was wonderful and I wasn't in a hurry. Resulting latte was solid. + yummy almond croissant. Day old and half-off, but couldn't tell! Still quite crispy and moist. + fast wifi! Plenty of seats and plugs - not sure if this was a today thing since there was coffee roasting going on, but there were *a lot* of fruit flies. I ended up leaving as they began landing on my laptop. Guess fruit flies like good coffee too!

Jurnee R.

Yelp
$6 (cash, Cortado w/ oatmilk) Giorla's Coffee monologue: I am so glad I called my friend and said let's go to brunch. We ended up on Tujunga Ave in Studio City. I've never been and I'll be back! This area is very attractive and quaint. My favorite part is the option to eat outside. And because we were outside eating, both of my eyes kept gravitating to Giorla's Coffee. Soon after, my whole entire body entered the shop. I took it all in: The conditioned cool air which would be perfect on a hot summer day, the crisp decor and the welcoming barista. The customers who arrived earlier were well into their comfort zone and soon to be fans of the shop, like me, were lined up and ready to join them in that universe. The barista, I didn't catch his name, but he has long hair, was very patient as I decided what coffee I wanted to compliment my mood. I typically choose a latte but today I was feeling frisky. So with the recommendation of my barista, I decided on a cortado - a double caffeine shot boost with equal parts creamy oat milk and a hint of pistachio greatness. So glad i don't live walking distance from Giorla's. I'd have to create a budget to partake in that boost on a regular. But it would be worth it! So get on over there and get you a cup of Giorla's today, instead of a cup of Joe. Oh, p.s. - if you love planet Earth and wish to do your part, their cups are recyclable. I discovered that when I put the cup in the trash... it came out as quickly as I released it into the rubbish and placed it right into the recycle bin.

C. T.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop in Tujunga Village. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk. It was very tasty and warmed me up on a cold morning. Something to keep aware of is alternative milk and a flavor are an extra dollar each. So with those, tax and a tip, the latte came out to roughly $9. I'll definitely go back again as a treat and as I'd like to try their pastries. Curious how they'll fare considering there is another cafe a few buildings down with lower priced coffee. I hope they can continue despite this as they've got a nice aesthetic, vibe and roast their own beans.

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Ran into this place out of luck so good ! Love that they have gluten free options the matcha drink is my favorite just a heads up the match is unsweetened and if you want it sweetened you ask for either honey or vanilla syrup also they have creamer on the side if you want it added. Avocado toast is honestly my favorite food item. 9/10 recommend

Kristen D.

Yelp
+ lots of seating, nice ambience, well-lit, drinks are decent, never a long line - very expensive.. just paid $9.11 for an ice blended mocha with an extra shot. WTF? it wasn't even a large size.

Axel E.

Yelp
Great quality coffee & even better service! Everyone working here was super nice. It was a hot morning so we were refreshed with an iced vanilla latte & iced ginger chai (dirty). Both were delicious and the chai was definitely unique with the ginger taste. The pastries also looked very nice but we didn't get any this time. Lots of tables inside & out! Great location.

Patrick H.

Yelp
I love Giorla's Coffee. The ambiance, the coffee served in glass mugs, the flowers on the table, the chill jazz music. While coffee roasting styles and tastes can vary according to personal preferences, Giorla's coffee reminds me of the brew served in Seattle and Portland. Not over roasted, but robust and nutty - just how I like it. While there are so many places in Los Angeles for coffee - this establishment has won my heart! Thank you Giorla's!!

Celine G.

Yelp
customers in front of us had a drink malfunction and accidentally ordered the wrong drink and the cashier had called the owner and made customer pay for new drink... customer was upset and cashier and owner couldn't make it right by doing a simple favor due to the error.. it was awful they weren't understanding. drinks weren't even that great wouldn't come again

Emily N.

Yelp
The coffee I got today was so bitter (drip coffee) , I took two sips and threw it away

Mila S.

Yelp
The ambience of this place is nice, as you can work there for a bit and they don't bug you. I asked them if they had outlets and they said no, but I found one which I needed and wrote for a few hours. I got hungry, and ordered avocado toast... it was so bad I actually sent it back. The avocado tasted awful, and the bread wasn't good, i'd gotten it once before and it wasn't great, but what I remembered most of all was how tiny it was, that I felt ripped off. So I swapped it for the toast instead as I didn't want to risk it with anything else. The return process was tense and the two girls were cordial, but very formal. The coffee is OK, not my fave in town and pricey. There is a place across the street I got a coffee at once before that was really good (I like Aroma but not for togo coffee). Shame about this place, tho.

Theresa W.

Yelp
Quality of the Vanilla latte was great and delicious! Downside was service. I went there for a second time and made sure to get there before it closes at 4:30pm. Arrived at 4:05pm to order coffee, and they said the last call for coffee was at 4pm so they no longer serve coffee. Don't think it takes that long to make coffee and thought it was weird there's a last call for coffee when usually that's for a bar setting. Went to Aroma's instead for coffee since they don't have a last call. Wanted to give a heads up that they won't serve coffee 30 min before it closes based on my personal experience.

Muskan B.

Yelp
LOVE this coffee shop!! my boyfriend stumbled upon it & we have been meaning to go. i completely forgot what we ordered, but it was SO good. i think it was from their specialty menu. i love the interior vibe & there was a good amount of tables to come & get work done here. it was also quiet, but had a cozy vibe. workers were super friendly, def coming back to grab more coffee here!

BlackDude E.

Yelp
The staff and ambiance was on point. You can bring your laptop through and get some work done too. It's a chill place with nice coffee. As a black dude, I recommend this business!

Rick M.

Yelp
Great coffee, they roast it in house and have this really cool modern coffee roaster (only 5 in California). Great for specialty coffee connoisseurs. Also staff is great and super knowledgeable. 100% recommend.

Victoria A.

Yelp
Pretty disappointing. Decided to try this place out this morning after a workout class to grab some breakfast. Drip coffee was pretty burnt - I'm normally not one to add sugar but I had to add 3 packets to mask the burnt taste. Avocado toast had a VERY thin layer of avocado and was smothered with microgreens - I had to take off about 2/3rds of them. I get the sense that volume of microgreens is added to give you the illusion that you're getting a decent amount of food given the price point. The ambiance is cute and service was relatively quick so it gets some points for that. But for $20, this was not worth it. Cute place but won't be back.

rita m.

Yelp
My absolute favorite go to coffee shop. It has the cutest interior and best coffee and snacks. My kids are equally obsessed.

Kathy C.

Yelp
We love going here to this little quant coffee place. Good pastries, good avocado toast and very tasty coffee. A must try

Jocelyn W.

Yelp
I typically go to another coffee house when I'm in the Tujunga Village area for work but today I decided to give this place a try. Cool and comfortable vibe coupled with the very friendly staff made the experience feel like I was a guest visiting a friend's home. The coffee was rich and smooth. I've decided this will be my new go-to from now on. Thanks Raymond and team for making each guest feel at home.

Mitchell P.

Yelp
Fresh, delicious coffee drinks and bites in a relaxed setting with warm service in the charming little shopping area of Tujunga village.

Jenny S.

Yelp
Oh man just had a mouth orgasm, best damn ham and cheese croissant ever great quality, ham, crusty cheesy crispy exterior, super soft, warm interior. I love this place. I love this place please people support small businesses. This place needs to stay afloat.

Daniel H.

Yelp
5/5 coffee. 5/5 ambiance. 5/5 friendly service. Amazing selection of classy baked goods, and they even have that throwback staple of day-old half-prices goodies - an institution of old I sorely miss. This is a great cafe, and the few reviewers who dissed the coffee here...that was not my experience at all.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Smooth rich coffee, Tasty morsels, Smokin' sweet staff Giorla's Caffe... When you want something down to earth, yet classy professional, yet sassy, for you and your Lassie...

Carrie R.

Yelp
Great new coffee shop in Tujunga village with excellent coffee. I love Aroma but the coffee there is not great. I highly recommend the cortado with a couple of anise laced biscotti on the side.

Rachel D.

Yelp
We stopped by here while we were in town picking up a marketplace item. The staff were very friendly, but it's a bit of a small space. I got a mocha and it just tasted like chocolate milk, to be honest. i'm kind of a coffee snob and this just wouldn't be where i'd intentionally go for coffee. they also charged me double and I didn't realize til we left so that was a bummer for me. parking is a hassle as well. i'd prob just go somewhere else if in the area.

Marine A.

Yelp
Best coffee in studio city! Love love love! Highly recommend! Also has amazing snacks and treats!

Sandra D.

Yelp
This place is adorable. Friendly staff, great tasting coffee and pastries, and they go the extra mile as far as presentation. Their pastries are served on a wooden platter with raspberries and mint.

Matthew G.

Yelp
Love this place since it has opened. Great patio seating and staff. Their baked goods section could use a bit of sprucing up, but the coffee is the real star here. I can't believe how anyone could go wait in a line for subpar coffee down the street at Aroma when you can get such a great cup at Giorla's.
