Today, on the first day of 2026, after visiting Mesume, I brought my child downstairs to get ice cream.
During the tasting process, we only sampled two or three flavors, but two staff members were clearly impatient and lacked basic courtesy, which made the experience very uncomfortable.
What made it worse was that their attitude left me feeling singled out and raised concerns about possible racial bias. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected.
What should have been a pleasant family moment turned into a very negative experience. I am very disappointed.
