Gelatomania

A local ice cream shop which has friendly staff with cleanliness in mind, this is exactly what we were looking for. We initially stopped at a very popular frappe place in a gas station convenience store, but after looking at the menu, we decided that we really wanted a place that spends less money on advertising and looking fancy. We stumbled on this place and were quite happy. They didn't say a word when my six-year-old brought her smoothie in to drink while the rest of us ordered ice cream. If we ever make it back to this area, we'll stop by again.

Amazing gelato! Due to the amount of good reviews I had high expectations and they did not disappoint. The owner is very attentive and friendly. They have many flavor options and all of them are very good. Once you try several options it is difficult to choose one. Sadly they open just 3 days per week.

AMAZINGLY YUMMY!!! Mario has been making gelato in his store for 21 years and it SHOWS!! Wow!!! Sampled around. Went for the passion fruit (parcha) and the reduced sugar coconut. I like the reduced sugar better than the fully loaded coconut. So tasty. I have literally eaten every gelato in Italy I could get my hands on. This is right on par with the top gelato there. Mario says his customers like his product more than Anita’s in Old San Juan. I was amazed. It’s been a while since I’ve had Anita’s. Time for a taste test. You won’t be disappointed.

My goodness..this is absolutely THE best gelato EVER!!! We started out with 2 bolitas each..and decided that we had to have some to take back to our Airbnb..so we purchased a pint of coconut. You will not regret it..it's an absolute must try...all flavors were GREAT!!! ENJOY!!! Gracias Mario por su talento maravilloso!! 🥥

This place is iconic at Humacao. One of the best.

This shop is truly a gem with the mom and pops type of vibe, if you’re in town or the surrounding areas it’s definitely worth visiting. The gelatos are out of this world. The service was truly one of a kind, my 9yr old said “I forgot people like him still exist in this world” the gentleman at the shop truly made our night.

The best gelato ever. Very creamy and tasty. My favorites are pistachio, coffee, and coconut.
