Interesting Park with several small springs.
There is a lot of room here for getting outside and enjoying a good weather day.
A small sinkhole that is still open was quite interesting to see, as were the several small springs that pour into a larger body of water that flows out to the St Johns River.
Ample picnic tables and pavilions, large lawns for kids and the young to play.
Fishing was allowed, and it was enjoyable seeing people enjoying that sport.
Being a rather large park it would be easy to get in a good walk just following all the paths.
I believe there was more than we were able to see on our one visit. Bathrooms were clean and located throughout the park.
A nice playground for the kid was popular with some sunshades over the top. It was pretty nice for a park playground.
If I lived near, I would certainly visit frequently just to walk the bridges and look into the water and see the fish, watch the fishermen, and enjoy the walking trails. This is however not a nature park with long hiking trails, but more of a public park that is big enough that you can easily get a walk in and keep on the move.
The slower flow of the springs has a good bit of the water not as clear as you expect from springs where there is a large amount of water coming out of the spring head. It is none the less a pretty area of water with several small springs and you can see into the water, even in the larger areas where it pools.
Looks like a very good place if you need to accommodate a larger group.
