Gençlik Park

Google maps guided us through this place to lead us to our destination. The walk inside this park was nice. We enjoyed the birds in the morning hours. I loved seeing the green parrot too. It is a nice place to enjoy spending time in especially with its quiet mornings. If you are around, you can have a nice walk in here.

What a sad waste of space, why even have this massive artificial lake that the locals refer to as a "pool" when you take the water out? It is also ironic that the park is called "young park" in The overwhelming majority of the people visiting are the elderly simply loitering about?

A spacious and green park, great for walking or having a picnic. There are playgrounds and plenty of seating — perfect for families. Some areas could be better maintained, but overall a very pleasant place to relax!

The park was absolutely wonderful—everything about it was very pleasant. It was clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere was lovely. People in the area were calm and easygoing. The neighborhood was very simple and quiet. However, almost all the shops were closed. I couldn’t find a place to get even a single meal or a cup of coffee.

It's a youth park (gençlik parkı) located in the middle of the city. On my first trip to Ankara, i visited this wonderful park today. While you visit here you can find every kind of amenities, like the ferris wheel, swing ride, bout swing, pool, playground, pumper cars... I tried the boat swing. 😄 If you gonna go to Ankara, do visit this amazing park. It's one of the must-go places.

Not bad for Ankara! If you need a break from crowds and polluted streets, visit this park. Come in the afternoons or evenings. I visited in the morning and everything was closed.

I went there with a group of foreigners friends. We spent a good time Had fun Enjoyed our time And took some nice pictures around the park. Luna park is also inside! Nice place for kids and young people. Access to the park is free of charge. Access to Luna Park is paid. Access to the games inside Luna Park are paid for each game separately. You can go there by different means of transportation, the easiest was the metro from Kızılay to the closest metro station. NB. Most of the games are paid in cash. More of a family park with lots of animations, cafes, fair, games. Some water bassins, fountains, benches. Very well kept and clean. Free of use bathrooms around the park too. Not that much greenery though, you won't feel immersed in nature.
