Don’t miss the Mt Baldy Breakfast Burrito! I look forward to getting one at least every summer. This is a great little shop to stock up before a hike or while you’re staying at the Bird 🩷

Google
Reason for the 2 stars is simply the prices. This small 7 eleven/gas station type store has about 4 aisles with cooled drinks, coffee, fountain soda and a deli. The issue is staying at this world class skiing resort without a car for a week likely means you will stop by this store. The prices are about twice that of a Walmart or Smiths in Sandy UT -- which is a 30 min drive away. It is not like this is a Carnival Cruise or remote wilderness destination. So the pricing doesn't make sense. The 994 bus takes you to Smiths for $9 roundtrip -- so I just don't get the high prices. Otherwise, it is a decent general store.

Great beer selection. Their sandwiches used to be monster when you ordered with a little piece of paper. Sandwiches quality went down over last 5 years. Tuna was my all time fave no more.

Was so appreciative of the fact they have some gluten free options for treats

Google
Basically a 7/11 ... deli was terrible food. Prices are 3X a real store. and the quality was marginal on several items. Shop in SLC or eat out. The only thing that kept it from 1 star was the beer selection was ok.

Beware it closes earlier than stated (: closed at 8 on a Saturday which kinda sucked because I wanted a snack!

Yelp
Go and get the breakfast burrito. I wasn't sure what I wanted for a pre-hike breakfast and the guys working recommended the burrito. It was great - only change I would make would to see if they'd do turkey instead of the non-crispy bacon. But there was chipotle aioli, hash browns, eggs, peppers, cheese.... The burrito came out at about $12, and I had 2/3 for breakfast and the rest as a snack. Didn't get anything else but the groceries were well stocked, though slightly more expensive than buying elsewhere.

Yelp
Bring your cash! For just a few items $100.00 didn't buy much. They don't have many options for fresh produce, if you can find it $$$. Service was excellent, this cashier had no problem making jokes about the high prices. Sort of lessened the blow. Ambiance was very nice and other than the prices, it was really comfortable shopping in this little store.

Yelp
Holy macaroni this place is expensive! Prices are three times the regular price at a regular grocery store, and the selection is extremely slim, no perishable fresh food, just canned, and prepackaged food. Spent a week at Snowbird recently and of course had to go here to get some food. This is the only convenient store within 5 mile radius. They do have a cooked food counter obviously for people who want to grab something to eat right away, but there's no fresh food at all. I was looking for vegetables and fruits, and there was none to be found. My suggestion if you are stuck here for a week, either rent a car or take a taxi to the neighboring city and go to a real grocery store there.

Yelp
Awesome! One problem with going skiing is paying exorbinant prices for refreshments at the ski resort. Not so at General Gritts Grocery/Deli located at the base of the Snowbird tram. If you find yourself skiing/boarding at Snowbird, get on the elevator to the base level where General Gritts is located to refuel the beast... General Gritts offers hot soups, deli sandwiches, cheeses, beer by the six pack, and just about everything else you could want for lunch. Not a bad option for replenishing rations if you get snowed in up at Snowbird, either! Mind you, beers here are not $6 like you usually pay, but range from $2-3. Heinekens are $2 -- have you ever heard of paying $2 for a beer at a ski resort? +2 stars.... The made-to-order deli sandwiches run from about $5 to $8 and are scrumptious. I had the turkey sandwich on an asiago bagel w/ red onions and all the fixins about $7. Delicious. Grab your food, head up the elevator one floor to the base of the tram where there is outside seating . Unwrap sandwich, pop the top off of your Corona, sip, grab some Utah sun, undo the buckles on your boots, and enjoy.

Yelp
This is the hidden jewel of Snowbird and Alta. The sandwiches are fire and the beer is cheep FYI they also have a small state liquor store. I could go on and on about this place but go in and experience yourself you won't regret it.

Yelp
Apparently the person that orders clothes there is a size small. I went in to buy a Snowbird logo long sleeve t neck and there were 60 or so available. All smalls and extra large. Was told they could not request large bc person who orders only orders small. After all thats her size. Another way toils a selling opportunity SNOWBIRD!

Yelp
If you're staying at a condo or timeshare in the area, this place is a lifesaver. The prices are fair, considering. It provides an alternative to the restaurants for lunch. It has a very good mix of gourmet/normal merchandise.

Yelp
The breakfast burrito is the size of your head and is awesome. Make your own anything. When ordering a sandwich with meat, you are gonna get tons. And not paying resort prices for anything either. Guacamole is made daily from fresh avocados. Hummus is outstanding. Make your own anything is great. A must try in the Snowbird Center. Level 1. $3 tall boys is the best deal in town.

Yelp
The best sandwiches and breakfast burritos at Snowbird. Fantastic service. A great "go to" when skiing at Snowbird.

Yelp
The custom deli sandwiches are fantastic - they are huge and can easily be shared with a friend.. Grab a $1.50 Cup-O-Noodles for lunch if you burned too big of a hole in your pocket for a lift ticket. Hish - the Cup-O-Noodles secret got out and the water heater cant keep up with demand, so no more hot water for your noodles at GG between 11:00 - 2:00 (but don't despair, there's hot water in the cafeteria on level 2).

Yelp
Been going to the grits every year as far as I can remember during Xmas weeks, today's sandwiches (7 of them) were by far the most disappointing we have ever had! I hope today was just an off day and not the new standard.
