Yelp
I'll preface this by saying I probably went here at the wrong time of day, because even though we showed up around 12, the menu was just generally a breakfast menu, with a few brunch items.
I'd seen the food that was offered on their social media channels, which was why I wanted to go here in the first place.
We went and nothing really caught our eye on the menu, it seemed extremely expensive for what was actually available (I mean a bagel for £7.50?), so opted to go for a special of tomato, coconut milk, chilli and saffron yoghurt soup, which came with some sourdough toast.
The soup took quite a while to arrive, and when it did it was plopped down on the table, with an awful puddle of oil on top of it. It tasted like tomato soup, with a bit of spice, but the other ingredients were otherwise completely superfluous, especially the big squirt of olive oil which just played havoc with my stomach.
The coffee (a golden latte) however was really really nice, and definitely something I'd recommend.
All in all, for 2 soups, 2 extra bits of toast, 2 coffees and a cappuccino, it was just over £18, so not exactly great value.
I'll definitely be back to give it a second chance when a different menu is on offer (oh about the menus, fix them online. Put them on your website, put them on your FB page, put them on Twitter, even if they change regularly).
