"General Store, San Francisco An artist and an architect curate a cool mix of practical things here. Every city needs a General Store. Amazing collection of artisan craft for the home. Pottery, plants, candle, clothing, maps , books, wind chimes, cards, blankets, and etc.

Greatly curated selections of home/clothing/kids products.

Nice cosy store. Not much to buy but worth a visit

WOW. You're going to LOVE EVERYTHING about this store. Their collection of goods - from clothes to candles to treasures for your home - is so well curated. And the space itself is BEAUTIFUL. It's a great space to shop for useful, beautiful, and sustainable things.

Maybe I should do more research but this is far from a "general store". Nice but very limited selections of household items and women's apparels. I would add a star if it's called something like "Maison Estelle". I heard about it from Monocle SF guide so I came out to outer sunset one day with high hope and ended up barely spending two minutes in it. That's the whole story.

Google
Always a good peruse through this store that serves to inspire me or to take something home. It's a mix of clothing, accessories, houseware, books, magazines, and even some music. I love hanging out back with some Trouble Coffee goodies.

Excellent selection of curated handmade homegoods and apparel. If you haven't checked out their backyard and greenhouse, I highly suggest it!

Yelp
Cute shop. Great Staff. Overpriced Vintage clothing, but the rest of the merchandise is cool. The backyard is amazingly calm and makes you want to whisper. Nice letterpress cards, hipster magazine section, neat ceramics and other curiosities. Customer service was great, greeting us when we came into the store and very personable during check out.

Yelp
My friend and I walked into General Store while waiting for our table at a nearby restaurant. It is a gorgeous shop with lots of artisanal offerings, including books, pottery, wall decor, candles, food items (beverages, shrubs), kitchenware, health and beauty, and apparel. We were not greeted or asked if we needed any assistance. The two employees remained behind the counter during our 20 min visit, even when the store was filled with people. Checkout for my gift items/souvenirs for friends was easy, and they asked if I wanted any items wrapped. Overall, this isn't a store I would regularly shop in if I were a local. I was intrigued by the products they sell and didn't buy much for myself because I'm just traveling through.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised by the updated assortment of brands and products as it seemed like they did a layout change in comparison to the last time I visited. Although there was no one else besides the sales associate, it was nice walking around and checking out the cute basket bags and color coded rack towards the back. Every time I visit this store, I discover new brands that eventually lead to a rabbit hole via the internet-Stanley & Sons and Agnes Baddoo!

Yelp
An amazing, beautifully curated selection of cloths, dishes, books... it's one of a kind place. My favorite place to go to treat myself or to get a gift for someone I like. Very kind and welcoming staff.

Yelp
Cute store but customer service leaves much to be desired. Guess the owner doesn't really care about trying to create a space that is inclusive or welcoming for all‍.
google avatar

Yelp
Echoing what a lot of others have already said... but thought I would also provide my input because I've given this store a few chances. Beautiful selection of products-- but the instances I've walked in, there wasn't so much of a glance to welcome me in. Is it because I'm Asian? Customers after me that were clearly blonde and Caucasian were instantly greeted with a big "hi, welcome in!" Not sure if other POC felt the same. Not sure if I'll be going in again.

Yelp
Came here twice. Mixed feeling about this place. Love the IG-worthy, earthy, trendy interiors & woodworks. Everything stylish, trendy, aesthetically pleasant & chic. Overall ambiance is cozy, down-to-earth, and fun. However, the shopping atmosphere could be a bit unpredictable. At my second visit, there were 2 customers who discussed loudly about their roles as "fashion industry bloggers", their most recent tattoo adventures, & fashion stores they've worked w/ before. Then directly asked the staff "are you the manager, or are you just the cashier". It was an interesting & intriguing convo to listen to. However, it could be a bit uncomfortable for the other shoppers in the store, for they were dominating the sound & presence of the entire space, which changed the atmosphere from down-to-earth to a bit clicky. Unusual experience, but could be a one-time-only thing. Visited their General Home store. The products (ceramics, vases, decors, etc.) are beautiful, classy, and stylish. Just as IG-worthy & trendy as the General store. Def an incredible aesthetic experience! The staff held their own conversation about accounts & transactions in the computer system while shoppers shopped. Not sure if they would greet customers when they were not busy. Overall a fun place to explore, and collect some home decors & trendy accessories that will elevate the class/ aesthetics of your home.

Yelp
Drove all the way from the peninsula 45 min of travel to come to the store which SAYS it opens at 11. Arrived at 10:50 and waited until 11:15, looked inside and the store girl just looked at me (door was locked and said closed). They were supposed to open at 11... i walked back to my car drove by at 11:26 am and the door still said closed! So disappointing and obviously they don't care about customers?? If you're doing something just tell the people outside or right a note! I cannot believe I drove here and they're just ignoring customers.

Yelp
Odd selection of items including overpriced vintage and tiny selection of actual designer wear. Horribly rude staff. If you don't look like a blonde Instagram influencer prepared to be accused of stealing. This store has a selection of items that are carried at your typical hip natural high end lifestyle store like Fat and Moon products. However the items are fairly overpriced. 60 dollars for a used made in China shirt, 200 dollars for vintage that is in torn/bad condition. The actual selection of Ilana Kohn/Black Crane/Jesse Kamm is limited to a few items with only a handful of sizes. Most of all, the staff are really rude and because we didn't seem to look like the typical clientele shopping there, one of the staff accused my partner of stealing. So if you don't look like an Instagram influencer, you must be stealing? It left a bad taste in my mouth and I would never want to give them my money. If you are looking for some beautiful vintage or nice designer pieces from Black Crane etc, better to give your money to many of the other places in the Bay Area that have better selection, and more importantly, a non discriminatory staff.

Mera C.

Yelp
People at the register are classless to POC. A storefront that brings shame to the name of San Francisco and Sunset community. I was appalled by the way I was treated by the staff at the counter. The blonde lady was disrespectful. It's time to go to SFGATE and the Chronicle. A shame to the city of San Francisco, with sincere regret of walking into this store.

Yelp
Super cute, small selection of high quality though expensive items. Everyone judges things differently. For me, it's not just the quality of the items, but the cost with respect to the quality. So the quality of the things in here is very good, and there are many cute / aesthetically pleasing things. But I just can't really get over the prices. For example, a wicker laundry basket is more than $100. I don't know, to me that's just crazy. Of note, though, is the back yard. There's a couple places to sit, and a small greenhouse with some pottery, plants, etc. It's super relaxing. I really enjoyed spending some time out there. I liked the cute greeting cards. And I *really* liked the section on architectural design. They have a surprisingly great selection of coffee table books focused on modern architecture. The person working there is a bit aloof and doesn't seem to pay much attention or offer much help. She barely looks up from her computer. When it's time to check out she is polite enough but other than that doesn't seem she wants to be bothered. They have some high-end jewelry, if that's your thing. They also have a respectable selection of what has been described as "hipster clothes" (Accurate!) So overall I probably wouldn't return. Maybe for a book. But even then I can imagine you can probably find the same books elsewhere priced a bit lower. But maybe for some people this would be a great spot to find high quality / high price things to decorate your apartment or home with. If money is no object, then you will find cute stuff in here you may want to have!

Yelp
Everything in here is straight out of every lifestyle blogger's instagram and as much as I can not stand lifestyle blogging, the aesthetics definitely still give me a stiffy. Most things here are a smidge above my pay-grade, but it's the kind of thing where you'll fall in love with something - perhaps an $89 bell, as my roommate did - and just have to have it. It's store that makes it entirely to easy to connect with beautiful objects and I couldn't love stopping here more. They've got home goods, body lotions and oils, jewelry, clothing, plants, and the most adorable Joshua Tree-esque back yard you've ever seen but need to take a thousand pics of. The staff are friendly and not at all snooty and it's a great place to find a really personal gift for your fancy friends.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Well, I guess it would have been the worst if I actually received any customer service. My partner and I visited the shop with his brother when he was visiting from South Africa, and every question we had was met with annoyance and pushback. One of the girls working there had the audacity to say to our visitor "that's a hilarious accent, where is it from?", without even acknowledging his question or trying to help him. She proceeded to go about her convo with another person after all of that like nothing ever happened. Sad, because I follow and buy from a lot of the artists they support and carry in their store, but I will most definitely not be supporting General Store directly.
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
Was ready to buy something to support a local business but the woman working this morning seemed more interested in scrubbing a stain off of her bag than help or greet customers. I get that good help is hard to find, but perhaps training your staff to at least feign attentiveness might result in a sale. We were in our jogging attire so perhaps we didn't fit her aesthetic requirement.

P T.

Yelp
The store is adorable, and I love the selection of goods. The one star is for the customer service, or lack thereof. I walked into the store, said hello to the ladies behind the counter, and was greeted by silence. They continued to ignore me as I walked around looking at items - I'll stop to mention that I was their only customer. No "hello", no "can I help you with something?"... they were simply too engrossed in their own conversation to pay much attention to someone who was there to buy stuff from them. When I was ready to check out, it was almost as if I were inconveniencing them. There are a ton of cute boutiques in the Sunset and the neighboring Richmond... hopefully this one gets their customer service act together before they repel more buyers.

Yelp
Located in the newly emerging two block stretch of unexpected hipness but also a fro-yo wasteland, the General Store is about half vintage/estate sale and half new merchandise. It feels a bit random, e.g., the area in the back has random knickknacks on a shelf and a bicycle. Are these for sale? Are the petite cacti plants around the store for sale? It's unclear. Vintage items included old knit blankets and sweaters (the wool back then was yucky and scratchy), leather purses, notebooks, and books. $60 for an old push button phone seems very expensive (I saw the same thing on ebay for $16). New stuff consisted of some Japanese items like paper clips, rubber stamp sets, a handful of greeting cards , gardening tools, handknit baby booties, fabric tote bags, bath & body items, etc. I liked the new stuff better than the old but there wasn't much of it. They like porcelain/ceramics here. They had ceramic "paper" cups, "aluminum" cans, keys, etc. The buyer has a decent eye but I feel like I could find most of the vintage items for ebay for less.

Nelya T.

Yelp
Very cute store. The entire place looks like an Instagram lifestyle feed come to life. They sell candles, clothes, design books, little trinkets, organic skincare, woven throws, etc. Feels like a modern museum. The store is tiny and when I was there on a Saturday, there were 2 other people in there and 3 employees and the employees didn't mutter a single word to anybody or even look at anybody until customers walked up to the counter to pay for their finds. A bit awkward, but oh well. I tried really hard to pick one item to purchase, however, I felt kind of silly paying 65$ for a little jar that would definitely not look as cute on my shelves as it does in it's natural museum environment. So I admired and walked away and really don't have any reason to return.

Yelp
It's too bad that the staff at General Store seem generally uninterested in helping their general customers, on any general day. It's just generally too bad, because the General Store generally seems to have some generally what's up local items and they also have an adorable outside area - which magically avoids the Outer Sunset wind. I'm particularly fond of the natural oil perfumes and the all natural makeup/toiletries which General Store carries here. Fat and the Moon - http://www.etsy.com/shop/FatandtheMoon which you can now find at a variety of exceptional local stores in the Bay Area - is my favorite natural cosmetic brand. I adore their deodorant cream and their lip and cheek stain. Both are packaged so simply and perfectly and are staples in my everyday routine. I stopped in here yesterday and had a number of questions in regards to some of the natural toiletry products. There was literally three staff members working - and none of them seemed too interested in helping me with my questions. I decided that I'd just buy the products online rather than spend money at a place that generally seems un-excited to assist you. It's always a bummer when a well curated local store that carries exceptional local goods - just doesn't seem to care too much about connecting people with their products. Trust.

Yelp
Love this place. It's beautifully curated with ethical items. You'll be sure to leave home with some trasures.

Yelp
I went in super excited about the store. I REALLY wanted to find a lovely trinket to take home. But in an empty quiet store, when my bf and I walked in, the cashier couldn't be bothered to look up from her computer or acknowledge our presence. Even after I approached her with a big warm "Hello!" I got a cold hello from her and she went back to staring at her computer. It was super awkward and uncomfortable. I felt like I was somehow encroaching on her space and she clearly couldn't give a crap about making a sale or new client. I give it 1 stars, because the garden behind the store is beautiful.

Zoë A.

Yelp
As a previous reviewer said, the cashier/person working at this shop is a bit aloof and unfriendly. (Definitely polite when talked to, but unfriendly.) When I walked in, I didn't get a "Hello" or "How are you today," which made me feel unwelcomed from the get-go. Also, when I asked about some jewelry and placed my finger (just ONE finger!) on the glass container, about a couple minutes later when I left the jewelry to go look at the shoes, she came out with some multipurpose spray and a towel to wipe down the glass container...which I guess kinda made me feel even more unwanted or like a nuisance? Or not *cool* enough to shop there? I don't know, it just seemed like a passive aggressive thing to do. Like, come on--I understand the need to keep a shop looking spick and span, especially the jewelry container, but she could've at least waited until I left to do her cleaning. Anyway, all of the stuff in this shop is absolutely beautiful and well-made and falls in line with slow and ethical/sustainable fashion, which I love... So there's that?
google avatar

Maleah M.

Yelp
Aesthetics are everything here! I love to stop on in just to see it all. A lot of neat things you would expect to find in hipsters paradise. However I wouldn't actually ever get any of those things just because of the high price tags. Quality things though I supposed, but for now, its just a nice place to stroll by. The backyard is a must stop, with the cutest little greenhouse and when I say little I mean LITTLE. It's enough for a person to walk in and turn around, but it's still adorable.
google avatar

felix c.

Yelp
I am a fan of entrepreneurs...and shops that serve the community and its neighborhood in many ways. Whether it's for pure aesthetics, inspiration, some whimsy, pragmatism, or function, any store that is willing to create this type of feeling organically and through independent means (NOT Anthropologie type funds), gets an A in my books. This store along with stores like Park Life is that type of store. You walk in and touch everything, hold it, examine it, read it, and perhaps those things evoke sentiments that linger after you leave...it's an eclectic store with all kinds of goods. Gift items, check! Cute yet functional stapler, check! French woven stripe sweaters, double check! The best though, are the display sets, the in house dog, and the succulent garden with a repurposed window panel greenhouse. This is something that strikes a cord in any gardener and person with a green thumb. Simply to get out here to this part of the city is fun for oceanic views, but stop by the General Store to mill around, get inspired, and buy a succulent. For realistic matters of economy, the price point here is a bit high, but for a cute gift that stands out, might be worth it. Kitschy, aesthetic, and functional... btw: they just celebrated their 1 year anniversary for being open...somebody's buying their stuff :) Please visit and spend time here!
google avatar

Erich G.

Yelp
Rejoice in hipster paradise! A selection of carefully curated, egregiously overpriced items ranging from $28 twig slingshots to $50 organic honey. They have a succulent sanctuary greenhouse in the backyard complete with distressed wooden door! Tree stump seating! Geometric metal wind chimes! Disaffected staff! Bags with the logo stamped on them! A book of Polaroid photos of mushrooms! Funky hats! Pimple mud!
google avatar

Lucy H.

Yelp
I'm here to give this company some honest feedback, in case they're listening. I really like your merchandise, expensive as it is, and I don't want to try on a $500 dress in a freezing cold bathroom with a chipped and dirty concrete floor. C'mon! Put a rug in there, create a real try-on space, it's just ridiculous.

Martha N.

Yelp
I always stop in to enjoy the beautiful things for sale and to enjoy the beautiful back patio. The clerks are very welcoming. Unique things are to be found and the atmosphere is relaxing.
google avatar

Claudine B.

Yelp
This place has nice aesthetics but the employees clearly only welcome their own race.
google avatar

Charlene W.

Yelp
Appearances are definitely deceiving at this shop. It looks adorable and the selection of products range from natural cosmetics to locally made goods. These types of goods are priced higher understandably but the markup this shop puts on their goods is ridiculous. Also, when I entered the shop I saw a single employee chatting with another customer towards the back. I was only there to browse, so I wasn't bothered by the lack of customer service. However, as I started browsing towards the back, the employee started giving me the dirtiest look as if I was interrupting her conversation with the other customer. Needless to say, I left the store feeling very uncomfortable. If you're in the neighborhood and you have money to spare and don't care much about customer service. This shop is bound to have some sort of knickknack that will catch your attention.
google avatar

Nettie A.

Yelp
The store is gorgeous. It is designed and curated very well and therefore very visually appealing. There isn't much content. Exclusive clothing where there is only one size of every piece, a variety of pots and sculptures, some wooden toys, artisan candles, cutting boards made by a neighbor and design books. It's more about eye candy than really shopping. Kind of like a museum. Proof that if you make a store look beautiful, people will come no matter what you sell.
google avatar

Rawlins R.

Yelp
This is an eclectic store that sells a variety of trinkets that are placed on the walls. The coolest thing I enjoyed about this store was the back garden area. Here they have a greenhouse with all kinds of plants. A different store with a personality.
google avatar

Tori H.

Yelp
I was excited to shop at the General Store because I think its aesthetic is very appealing and I actually love the selection of products they have. I was really excited to shop here and really expected to like the store. I was familiar with their Instagram page, their website, and I'd actually visited the store before I actually purchased stuff there today. Once I became an actual consumer, though, I became super disillusioned. The entire shopping experience here is like an episode of Portlandia. Almost everything seems ridiculously overpriced (though to be fair, the quality is high), even for San Francisco. The selection is pretty predictable. I really got annoyed when I went to check out: the three employees at the store at the time were all behind the tiny register, and only one was able to help customers. She was not afraid to take a long time talking to each customer, so I waited for about 10 minutes, even though only two people were ahead of me. Each employee I encountered talked in a weirdly quiet voice, and the store played the most predictable indie music possible. It took forever to pay because they use an archaic payment system, like a Square prototype. Overall, just really annoying: bad service and overpriced goods.
google avatar

Joseph B.

Yelp
Fantastic part of the Outer Sunset. The collection is very stylish. Soaps, women's clothing, succulents, zineish books, and other artful things. They do great gift wrapping. I always feel energized after going here. Most of the items are too expensive for me at the moment, but I occasionally find things at the right price points. I think there's a dressing room, but I've never tried that. The store is designed beautifully. Wooden tunnel center is a big feature. Check out the beautiful backyard. It reminds me a lot of Establish on Noriega. I wonder if General Store is run by the same people as either Establish or Carville Annex.

Yelp
I went to the Judah location on Saturday for the first time and I had such a good experience! The brunette sales clerk with tattoos was very helpful and suggested I try on No. 6 clogs which Ioved. I will be coming back!

Yelp
Really cool store perfect for knick knacks and gifts! Check out this review at shopwithdice.com (shopwithdice.com/general-store) and check out videos of interiors at tiktok.com/@shopwithdice!

Yelp
Everything about General Store appeals to me; it might not to you. Sure, the hipstery crowd waiting and waiting and waiting in line at Outerlands probably like it, too. The merch is a nice selection of mostly hand crafted goods, the store inside is cleverly designed and the backyard screams "Sunset" and you just know you're on the Pacific Rim. Some things are very expensive, but not everything. It's just beautiful, and worth a detour to a neighborhood some of you think is just too far out.
google avatar

Mason T.

Yelp
1. Employees are wack. Walked in with my gf and the two ladies working did not even take a moment to greet us nor look up to see if we needed any help. Slammed the door on the way out. Hope that woke them up. 2. Overpriced thrift shop. Will not be returning.
google avatar

Bryce J.

Yelp
Would have been a 5. Girl working wasn't very friendly. Awesome store with amazing products made up for it very easily. Love the back patio!

J. B.

Yelp
The woman behind the counter was not friendly, I've never walked in a shop that small and not been greeted. And it continued through the checkout, just not friendly at all. I found a cute pair of vintage clogs to purchase and realized I'd be paying "retail" but for the time it would take me to find the right size and a style I'd like elsewhere, that it'd be worth. But when I got home I looked up the price and the clogs sell for $30-50. I paid the sticker price of $100 here. Just a heads up that you are likely being significantly overcharged for the vintage goods. The handmade goods, on the other hand, between design and quality, are likely worth it. Especially considering that purchase supports an independent artist, whereas the vintage goods don't.
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
Great curation, somewhat (actually, very) ridiculous prices. Hipster heaven. Great sales associates who are super friendly though (unusual for hipster places sometimes). It's a great selection of home goods, cards, design magazines, jewelry, and clothing that is all up my alley and my taste. However, I've had to resist the urge to purchase something just-because each time I'm here. Great for gifts and a funny/sweet/unique card though!
google avatar

Rafael R.

Yelp
The recent May 2014 "C" magazine article brought us to the Sunset district to check out The General Store at the end of Judah Street this weekend. Overall, a nice selection of small gifts and art objects for the home. A huge turnoff was the disinterested staff, who was overhead talking about a recent hire who had worked at Tartine, which explains, oh so much, as the attitude at the bakery is far worse than this place. Pity the shop owners see the need to hire such folks, as the service alone dissuaded me from purchasing a small lava vase. The "C" article notes that the General Store has a "lovely garden filled with happy succulents". Too bad its employees are not equally as happy as the plants in the greenhouse.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I've gone into this store twice... and came out with something... TWICE. I came in here on their second day open while we were waiting on a table at Outerlands. They have a great selection of gifts and design-y tchotchkes: LED flashlights, cute stationary, books, gardening shovels, containers, carefully selected vintage handbags, etc. My loot so far? A porcelain acorn ornament too perfect for our tree to pass up. And today, a vintage Coach bag that I was eyeing... that the S.O. got me as a Christmas gift :-) Everything is super reasonably priced and the owners (and their dog) are sweet to boot. Support your local retailers & shop at General Store for all your gift-y needs.
google avatar

Lee H.

Yelp
From the lineup waiting to get into Outerlands for their infamous grilled cheese to the coffee hipsters making their pilgrimage to the Slayer espresso machine-made drinks at Trouble Coffee, the stretch of Judah between 45th and 46th avenues has become quite the destination. The General Store is in the fray of the indie feel of Judah and fits right in with a well curated store chock full of many locally made gift and houseware items. I found this Japanese enamel kettle I had searched high and low for and ultimately bought online just weeks before visiting The General Store. Had I known, I would gladly have purchased locally rather than online. In addition to housewares, gift items and jewelry, there is a limited selection of clothing. The backyard area has been put to use with a succulent garden, furniture and what looks to be a small scale green house. The feel of the store has a nicely rustic feel that is extended to the backyard space. Great place to find unique gifts for people who appreciate good aesthetic and locally made items.
google avatar

Antoi C.

Yelp
Possibly one of the best curated shops, of its kind, in the city. The General Store has loads of charm packed into a cozy, gem of a space. I can see that everything is carefully chosen, and beautifully displayed together. You can find all sorts of gifts for almost any occasion. Need baby booties with angora trim? Air plants nestled into finished, burled wood blocks shaped like quartz? A really good vintage military jacket, or what about a horsehair duster with a beautifully turned handle made by seeing-impaired folks? That and more, I tell you. Totally worth the trip, then trek to the local food joints for a bite, then walk to the beach!
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
As soon as you enter the store you'll realize if this is the store for you. The store is about two dozen steps to the back but you can already see everything from the front. The General Store offers a limited-curated selection of gift items, books, accessories, clothes, and jewelry. When I say limited I really mean limited. This is the biggest drawback. The limited supply isn't even the greatest selection either. It's all the books and items that I glance over at bigger stores. I did happen to spot some terrariums of an artist/gardener that I bought from before but they only had huuuuge ones for sale. I can't recommend driving to Outer Sunset for this store. There are plenty of other stores near downtown that offer the same products. I'd recommend Rare Device on Market.
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
This little block is such a hidden treasure, with Outerlands, Trouble Coffee, and Thai Cottage mere steps from each other. General Store is a nice space to browse when you are in the neighborhood. They carry an interesting assortment of products from clothing (loved the authentic sailor shirts from Brittany), to gift items, to jewelry, to Navajo blankets. There wasn't one thing that I absolutely had to have, but I admired the letterpress cards and flipped through a funny book on Japanese advice. Be sure to check out the super cool greenhouse out back made of recycled materials. There is a photo montage on the wall showing how it was built.

Yelp
The General Store is a lovely little store located on Judah. There is not much going on around this shop, so it may be hard to come across this place. My boyfriend and I decided to check it out after eating at a restaurant nearby. We entered the store, and we were not welcomed by the employee. She kept on going about her internet endeavorers. The store is wonderful. It had various items that are sure to catch your eye. It is filled with all kinds of stuff, hence the name. This would be a great place to purchase gifts and even some household items, but it is a bit pricey. Despite the price, it was fun checking out the items they sold.

Yelp
From a practical standpoint. I can't picture how General Store can be "in business". I would imagine this place to be run by the girlfriend of a VC / Web 2.0 mogul, or trust-fund-tycoon. Those who are price-consicous, let alone bargain hunters, go elsewhere. This is all about urban chic, buy what you see, they deserve their margins as the curator of tasteful objects for your loft.

Yelp
Perfect little place to find great gifts, home wares and clothes .... A neat eclectic collection of merchandise that's feels like it came from near and far but everything fits together perfectly in one store like pieces of a puzzle. It feels raw and natural, bohemian, old and new, and the prices range from expensive to totally affordable, but no matter the price everything here is nice.

Yelp
VERY VERY Cute store. Next time I am in the area I will plan to spend more time browsing around. There is a really cute garden in the back and I plan to one day move in the back :)
