The Best Walking Tours in Dublin (Updated 2025)

"If you want to take in Dublin's nightlife, I find Generation Pub Crawl perfect: it gives skip-the-line entry to five venues (including VIP entry into Copper Face Jacks), includes a few free drinks such as a Guinness, and is ideal for young or solo travelers looking to meet people (tours from 14 EUR)." - Matthew Kepnes

Amazing. Even though you can go there by yourself but joining the pub crawl and meeting others make it so much different. The host was generous and kept checking on us to make sure everyone was having a good time. It is incredibly a great deal if I think of it was just €14. And not like other pub crawl in some countries, they take you to good ones. Def recommend to anyone who has nothing to do or solo travel

What a waste of money! The host, Oscar, doesn’t interact with the group, other than to direct you to the next pub and tell you what deals your wrist band gets you in the next venue - which to be fair weren't all that great, as you were really restricted on what you could have to get a discount! The pubs taken to were just generic temple bar pubs, honestly could have just selected 3 random pubs in temple bar ourselves and had the same experience! They say you get a free shot at every venue, the second bar they took us to, the shots were Pineapple juice - no alcohol in them at all! Felt like a really poor customer experience, we ended up leaving after the third bar as it was so pathetic! **Thank you for your reply below, however I want to pick up on a couple of points in your reply - Firstly, no shot in the bar the crawl started in, and Guinness was a half pint not a full pint. Next bar - Badbobs, the only discounts were on a lager and vodka & coke or rum & coke. This was also the bar with the ‘fruit shot’ there was absolutely no alcohol in that shot at all - and to try to suggest otherwise is disingenuous to me as a customer! Next bar - the old store house, only discount was rum/vodka and coke and a shot of baileys. In regards to expressing our discontent, I did with Oscar in regards to the fruit shot, and was fobbed off by him saying it was nothing to do with him, it was the premises. We also couldn’t express our discontent until we were moving to the next venue, as once inside Oscar was nowhere to be seen - I did go and look inside and out for him at the time of the fruit shot and couldn’t find him until it was time to move to the next venue! With the old store house being the third venue - all of them being in Temple bar to that point, a disinterested guide and poor offers/drinks in the venues, was why we lost interest and quit the experience early!

Wonderful place. Great food and friendly staff. It was nice celebrating the St. Patricks here. There is a billiard table too. One downside is that they are no power outlets for you to charge. It might be for safety reason. In summary, this place is great and highly recommended.

This pub crawl is by far the best I have ever done! A group of us returned for a second night it was that incredible. Matthew who was our leader both nights, was super informative about where we were headed and he made it exciting when we stopped for a debrief between pubs. We went to some awesome local pubs with live music and our last stop was a club which was the perfect place to end the night! The deals were amazing, we had a free beer and 4 free shots in total and then paid nearly half the price for some drinks like vodka mixes. Honestly, get out there and do it!! I guarantee you’ll meet some awesome people and have a great night.

It was fun going to different pubs and listening live music. Free shot at each place. Discount on extra shots and some selected beers, drinks and bottled beer. One hour at each of four pubs. For us, we went to first two pubs and enjoyed a piece of apple with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This crawl shows you the great fun people have at these beautiful bars that stretch the centuries of time. They have wonderful woodwork and stained glass windows. Enjoy your time crawling from one pub to another! Not mentioning the fun drinking and maybe singing along!

Amazing pub crawl, Ryan was lively and knowledgeable, brought such an infectious energy leading the crawl that rubbed off on everybody else. Locations are good, great value for money especially with welcome drink. Best way to spend a night out in Dublin.

Great experience. Did the Friday night pub crawl and it's set up well. Large group, first bar is strictly for the pub crawl attendees so you can do some mingling and meet some cool folks. Free beer are on arrival and discounts on mixers. You spend an hour at each place and get a shot at the door. We hit 3 or 4 bars and a club at the end. One of the bars had a silent disco (which I had NEVER heard of) where you have a DJ and everybody has headphones on. Sounds crazy but it's hella fun. And a Karaoke room as well. It can get a little crowded in the 2nd and 3rd bar, but amazingly you still don't wait long for drinks. Would HIGHLY recommend. Shout out to the guides for making even walking to the bars fun.
