Generator Barcelona

My stay at Generator Barcelona was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the entire team, but I want to give special recognition to Augustin, who made my experience truly unforgettable. Augustin was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in ensuring I had everything I needed. He went above and beyond by providing valuable tips about the city, suggesting lesser-known but equally charming spots that really enhanced my trip. His kindness and willingness to help in every situation were truly remarkable. The hotel itself is wonderful – modern spaces, cozy common areas, and a vibrant atmosphere perfect for both relaxing and socializing. The location is also excellent, with easy access to public transport and Barcelona’s main attractions. However, it was the dedication of staff members like Augustin that truly stood out. His positive attitude and passion for his work showed just how much he cares about the guests’ experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Generator Barcelona, and if you’re lucky enough to meet Augustin during your stay, you’re in for an exceptional experience!

This hostel is great, there is everything you need in here to enjoy your stay in Barcelona. The location is perfect, the decoration is nice and the staff are great (special mention to Agustin and Giuliana). Whether at reception, in the kitchen, at the bar, the restaurant or with the security and cleaning staff, everyone is smiling, friendly and always ready to help and give advice. Reception is open 24 hours a day and you feel safe here. Your belongings are also safe all the time, with lockers under the beds in dorms (don't forget your padlock), or lockers to rent in common spaces or in dedicated areas). I would definitely recommend this place for your trip to Barcelona!

Generator Barcelona is such a vibe! Perfect location, close to all the action but in a chill area. The design is super aesthetic, the rooms are comfy, and everything is clean. The lounge and bar are the perfect spots to meet people or just relax. Plus, the staff is super nice and always down to help. If you want a stylish, social, and affordable stay in Barcelona, this is the spot. 10/10, would book again!

I just arrived at the hostel, and the welcome experience was amazing! The place is comfortable and clean, but what stood out the most was the friendliness and professionalism of the reception staff. I would like to thank Mohamed and Guliana for their outstanding help. They were extremely friendly and assisted me with everything I needed quickly and with a smile. They made me feel at home from the very first moment. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay with an exceptional reception team, I highly recommend generator hostel! Honestly the best hostel in Barca. Staff are great and really helpful. Jeronimo was awesome and always was welcoming to me during my stay. The rooms are cleaned daily and the beds and comfortable. Bathroom in each room and extra bathrooms on each floor. Super central and not to far a walk from everything.

really great location and the staff were lovely! only downsides were in the rooms - bathrooms definitely could have used a deep clean and there was some moulds, walls are quite dirty and the pillows provided were flat and yellowed. we did hear a lot of noise at around 1am, yelling and banging. unsure if it was outside or upstairs, but definitely something to keep in mind. while small, the rooms did their job and had enough room for 6 open suitcases and didn’t feel too crowded! the bar downstairs is nice too :)

Generator hostel is the best hostel I’ve stay in in Barcelona! Very friendly and welcoming. The staff who helped us, Jeronimo and Augustin, spoke both Spanish and English and were extremely accommodating. They also have us recommendations for dinner spots (and had great mustaches). It is in a great location as well- overall a great spot and I would visit again!!!

We were pleasantly surprised. Especially the friendliness of the staff like Agustin and Giovanni. Always willing to help, ready to meet our wishes, nice and polite, alway smiling. The communication with them was phenomenal. They also speak excellent English. The hotel itself has one rule. The parties are only "downstairs", and where you sleep it is quiet. That was our biggest concern. The rooms are small, but clean. There are so many things to do in the evening that you don't have to go any further. If I go to Barcelona again, then only here!
