Gentlespace Guest Apartments Ísafjördur

Fantastic host! Had some great tips about the town and surrounding areas. This was the best equipped place we've stayed in Iceland! It was very cosy, and even though there wasn't a communal kitchen, the host set up each room with even more things than you'd find in a communal kitchen (plastic wrap, kettle, coffee maker, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, scissors, chocolate bars, microwave, all utensils, etc). Wifi was excellent!

Located in a residential area, this place is so quiet, clean, organized and comfortable. The room is big, clean and has good WiFi connection. We love that the room is fully equipped with everything you need : wardrobe, microwave, electric kettle, coffee/tea, fridge. The kitchenette is just outside of the room. The bathroom is big and with heated floor. The only thing we don't like is there is no hot water for both the basins. There was some issue with the GPS location, but this is not issue of owner.

We stayed not in the guesthouse but the same people's self catering apartment in a residential block at 20 Tungata nearby. It was excellent, satellite TV, full residential type kitchen with all the equipment, cutlery and crockery you would have at home, big comfortable bed with loads of wardrobe space. Lots of tourist info to read including an Iceland guidebook, candles and a lighter. Everything was perfectly clean and we could always (in a 4 day stay) park the car close to the street door. There was one flight of wide stairs to carry the luggage down (and up again) The distance into town is only a short walk with a Netto supermarket one of the first shops you get to. Altogether absolutely superb.

Well thought out guesthouse! The best place we've stayed in all of our trip in Iceland. Very roomy and comfortable.

Owner very rude when i had to cancel 17 days before i was supposed to go. Has been told to not comeback in a rude email.

Very comfortable guest house. Spotlessly clean and welcoming.
