Great spot for food with a view. Upbeat music. Food and coffee come out quite quickly. Scrambled eggs were not really scrambled, and there was a weird fish flavour to it. The view is to die for and totally worth coming for. The coffee is good. We had long blacks and were very happy with the quality. Food is not expensive here, which is nice. Also, the wines here are not expensive.

Had a wonderful experience eating at Geographe. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had the beer battered gummy shark and it was delicious. The beer batter was crunchy, thin and tasty and the fish was perfectly cooked. The chips and the side salad was also delicious. We also had the squid which was well flavoured and not chewy and the chicken burger which was succulent and tasty. Overall a great experience here and would definitely return.

This establishment offers a lovely setting with stunning views of the nearby hills. The outdoor heating creates a cozy ambiance, enhancing the overall experience. Highly recommended. The wood-fired pizza is exceptional, featuring a delightful combination of soft and crusty bread. The pizzas are flavorful and generously topped with cheese, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. You are sure to have a satisfying experience.

We had a huge drive and stayed in Cole’s bay, had a takeaway dinner from this great little restaurant. Very cute, friendly staff, delicious seafood linguine & battered gummy shark & chips. Thanks for the great experience! Great views in the daytime from here too.

Came here for dinner and had the best pizza I’ve had to date. Food came out quickly and the guy who served us was friendly. Definitely Recommend this place!

A Sunset Dining Delight Located in the heart of Freycinet National Park, Geographer offers a vibrant dining experience that seamlessly blends casual ambiance with top-notch culinary execution. Whether you’re exploring the nearby trails or simply looking to relax after a day of adventure, this restaurant’s enticing menu and picturesque sunset views make it a must-visit. One of the standout dishes on the menu is the Chili Salt & Pepper Calamari, served with a side of crispy fries, a fresh garden salad, and a tangy chili mayo dipping sauce. The calamari is lightly coated, retaining its tenderness beneath the crunchy exterior. The subtle heat from the chili flakes enhances the overall flavor without overwhelming the delicate seafood taste. Paired with the satisfying crunch of the fries and the bright acidity of the salad, this dish is both comforting and invigorating. Equally impressive is the Pulled Pork Pizza, which features succulent, slow-cooked pork atop a thin, wood-fired crust. The pork is generously portioned and harmonizes beautifully with the melted cheese and tangy tomato sauce. A sprinkle of fresh spring onions and crispy fried shallots adds contrasting textures and a hint of sweetness that elevates each slice. The crust itself strikes the perfect balance between soft and chewy, reflecting the skillful hand of the kitchen. Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Geographer sets it apart. The dining area boasts a relaxed, open layout where you can watch the sky transform with the setting sun. Sipping on a local Tasmanian beer or a glass of wine while admiring the scenery truly enhances the experience. Though the flavors alone merit a solid 9 out of 10, the breathtaking sunset vista over Freycinet’s rugged landscape turns a great meal into a memorable one. For those seeking a flavorful, laid-back meal amidst the natural splendor of Freycinet National Park, Geographer delivers on all fronts. The quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and unbeatable views make this a dining destination worthy of any food lover’s itinerary.

Peaceful location with a limited option of restaurant thus this is bit crowded and moderate menu to select the food. Apparently Wood-fire pizza is kind of star of the restaurant but surprisingly found the vegan nachos called “Nachos man” named of the menu pretty well.
