George Bass Motor Inn

The lady on reception was so lovely. She saved our bacon when we had nowhere to stay that evening. We have a very well behaved little dog, and she provided accommodations for us, when all the caravan parks and other accommodation was full up. The room was clean and tidy, with the standard, bed, kitchenette, bathroom, airconditioning that you would expect of a motel. The motel is across the road from the entertainment centre and parks, and close to other amenities. Thank you so much - five stars

Comfortable beds, Clean rooms, locate in a quiet complex. Unfortunately lack of curtains that block out the light is a dealbreaker though (they are mounted so far forward light shines in all around them all night). Staff here are friendly and approachable, even let me check in early. Rooms are simple but functional. Showers are hot, but water restrictions means water-savers are installed, which means low pressure unfortunately, but not a deal breaker, Good amount of parking on site. Not located super close to food, but a couple of minutes in the car will get you to a plethora of food options down the road. The lack of proper black-out curtain design brings this place down to 4/5 for me. Didn't sleep great as a result of the light pouring into the room all night. Install some blinds, guys!

These guys were great. Very friendly, and the room was great. We will certainly look at returning on our future travels.

Quiet, comfy and walking distance to town. Was able to get a late checkout which was great. Thanks to the hosts and will definitely book again on next visit.

A Lifesaver in a Time of Need! My stay at the George Bass Motel was truly exceptional, especially thanks to the incredible kindness of Swati. After an all day, exhausting drive with my three young children (ages 5, 3, and 2), I was in a difficult situation. We needed a place to stay that was close to the hospital where my mum was, and Swati went above and beyond to help us. Not only did she ensure we had a comfortable and clean room, but her compassion and empathy were what made all the difference. She understood the stress of my situation and went out of her way to make sure my kids and I had a safe place to rest. Her dedication to customer care went well beyond her duty, and I can't thank her enough for her help. The room itself was perfect for our needs, and the location was ideal for our visits to the hospital as well as being in central to everything in Nowra. I highly recommend the George Bass Motel, and particularly commend Swati for her outstanding service. Her actions turned a very stressful day into a manageable one, and I am so grateful. I can't thank you enough Swati for your amazing help. You are a blessing.

We didn‘t stay at this hotel, because it was fully booked, but the receptionist was very friendly and helpful when we didn‘t have a place to stay for the night and helped us to find an alternative!!
