"The newest street food bar in Rotterdam is all about top quality grilled chicken. They can roast forty chickens simultaneously on the rotisserie, the largest in the Netherlands. On the Scharrels & Schuim menu: Thai chicken soup, wrap filled with grilled chicken thighs and barbecue sauce, a serving of chicken nuggets, caesar salad. The terrace features large pick nick tables and a large barbecue (weather permitting). Spread over two floors, Scharrels & Schuim has a seating capacity of one hundred guests. The movable wall separates the restaurant from the take-out corner. Ten specialty beers are available on tap including Kornuit, Grimbergen and Peroni, triple the pleasure per bottle. We had a great time here. Second time. Good location, good food. What was weird, was the waiter who served us. Co-worker near the window ordered. When his dish was put in front of him the waiter passed the food in front of my other co-worker sitting next to the isle. Normally one would serve food behind other customers). As side dish my coworker received baked sweet potato. We all looked at it. Okay? The waiter came back from the counter went again before my co-worker took the bowl with fried sweet potatoes while saying "wrong table" and walked away. Happened in a split second. It was slightly rude. Then the correct bowl with fries was brought, once again it passed my other co-worker's face centimetres from his face. But the chicken was tender...

Beautiful and tasty cocktails.great place to go to impress a date. But also with friends it can be super fun. If you're not sure what to get just tell the waiters what taste you like and they got you covered.

The drink is okay, but the quality of the food is less. The portion of food is relatively small. The environment looks cozy but it does feel very clean. Sitting in the high chair is not very comfortable.

This place triggers a lot of mixed feelings. On one side, the dishes are actually good, and you get a very nice variety of chicken-only dishes. Very nice sandwiches, some salads and weird stuff like kipsalon (like kapsalon but with chicken) and you can even have half a chicken. On the other side, if you are ONLY making chicken you could step up your game, but it is very good for its price point. The side dishes are just a scam. You pay 6,5 for a sandwich (main dish) but 4,5 for a side of fries and 2 for a glass of iced tea? This is a price scale I dont understand The service is terrible. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes to get your order taken. Im giving some very generous 3 stars

Have to start off by saying, the cocktails here are just mouth watering! Visited here on a recent weekend break and glad to say we stopped off at George Cocktails & Food. As it happened there was a private cocktail event going on when we popped in, and eventhough the bartender happened to be busy with this, he did make a savagely tasty cocktail to accompany our food! Food was delicious, drinks were delicious and staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit if in Rotterdam!!!!!

What a find! After an hour of scoping places out last night (Mon) I landed here.. and I was so impressed that I came back tonight! Well priced, great portions, amazing flavours, super helpful and friendly staff. I don't leave reviews often, but this place is more than worth it! Recommend!
