The hotel is well situated in the town… but let’s be real, it is not a 4-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination.||Our room was cramped and damp. Virtually no air circulation and the windows don’t open enough to let much fresh air in. Not that you’d want the windows open anyway given the incessant beeping from the cross walk just out the window. We all sweat through our pajamas and sheets, gross. ||Upon check in, we were told our parking could be validated, bringing the total down from €20 to €12. We were asked to give reception our ticket, and they gave us back another one. Was meant to be that simple. ||Upon leaving the garage, we had to pay an additional €20! When we called the hotel and asked to be refunded the €20, we were told the hotel couldn’t do that as we didn’t pay them that amount… they could only refund us the €12 we pre-paid. Rather than just crediting it back against our room, we essentially paid what we would have without validation. ||A real 4-star hotel would have owned up to the mistake, taken the cost out of their fees and given us the €20 back. ||The only redeeming quality of this place was the lovely woman working at the mediocre restaurant.
