George Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at George Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and valued. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk team was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness throughout my stay. A special thank you to Natalia for going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Their hospitality truly made a difference. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Stayed here with my daughter for two nights in Feb 2025 and everything was perfect. We arrived early in the morning, and appreciated being able to leave our luggage for the day while we explored the city. On the day we checked out, the hotel graciously allowed us to leave our luggage again as we were not leaving London until evening. Our room was perfect for the two of us, and was very quiet with comfortable beds. Best of all was the full breakfast, which was delicious and included everything we could possibly have wanted. We were very close to the British Museum, and just a few minutes walk from St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations which allowed us to get to several locations throughout London very quickly. Our stay was in February, so I am not sure whether or not The George has air conditioning for a comfortable summer stay, but I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely staff, great quality vs price, we went there during the winter and the room was always warm. The hotel did everything to provide us with a good stay. Wifi was great, breakfast altough small, was also amazing. Speciall the eggs and coffee. We def recommend

What a pleasure to stay at the George Hotel. Fantastic location, beautiful and modernised. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. I would have no hesitation in booking again

The beds are amazingly comfortable. The whole hotel is very clean. The service is really nice and the room service comes everyday to clean up, make the beds and restock all the necessities. Breakfast are very tasty and there are multiple foods you can choose from. Even though they were fully booked it was quiet at nights. Of course it is located very close to the city center and near three underground stations. I loved it there and i truly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed in The George Hotel on October with two friends. Had a warm and friendly welcome and got a beautiful, cozy room on the third floor. Room is quite small, but this didn't bother us since we spent most of the time outside and only used the room to sleep and wash up and do our makeup. Breakfast was tasty, my friend is gluten free and this was also taken care of very professionally. Wifi also worked very well.||The only downsides I can think of were the water pressure in the shower, made washing thick hair quite an adventure, and the noise from the street is also quite loud if you are a light sleeper.|Hotel doesn't have an elevator so this is also a downside for the elderly and people with mobility issues. Staircase is narrow and steep. ||If you are looking for a cozy homebase for a short trip, I would highly recommend. But if you're looking for luxury, then keep looking.

The hotel is clean and the breakfasts are fantastic with lots of choice. The staff are friendly. However the hotel is not accessibility friendly as it is on 4 floors with no lift and 4 steps up to the hotel itself so bear that in mind when booking if this is an issue for you. Had a very pleasant 2 night stay and even though the hotel was fully booked it was lovely and quiet with no sound from any of the other guests. Our bathroom turned into a bit of a slip and slide nightmare with water off the shower curtain dripping onto the ceramic tiles after showering which could have been dangerous. All in all though a very pleasant stay in a nice, centrally located hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the GEORGE HOTEL , and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish ! Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm smiles. The check-in process was smooth, and they provided us with all the information we needed for a comfortable, and clean. Lastly, the location couldn't be better ; it was conveniently being. situated near popular attractions. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying , perfect for a day of sightseeing. Overall, my experience at the GEORGE HOTEL was delightful. I highly recommend it, and I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed one night here and found it to be good for the price. The room was small as expected but comfortable enough and the shower room was fine. There were some touches of luxury like shampoo etc. However the window furniture was partly missing so the window had to be either closed or wide open, a basic failure of maintenence. Hotel is clean and staff are helpful. There is no lift and I was on the 3rd floor, reached via narrow stairs so this would be an issue for anyone who was not fully fit. Breakfast was in a pleasant dining room and was very good for an economy hotel, as good as many more costly places would provide. I would stay there again and probably will.

Concession: the last time I stayed here was 2010. Still, by the looks of the pictures, it hasn't changed. I decided to see if this place was still standing out of curiosity. This "hotel" had a shared bathroom, slanting floors, a clock that clearly had not worked in many years and an odd smell. Pros: In 5 years I have not forgotten this "hotel's" name because it was mentioned at so many reunions as the worst "hotel" my family has ever stayed in. Why is that a pro? Because it has given us so much laughter and shared ridiculous memories that maybe it's magical in that weird British way. Cons: no elevator (they're at least honest about this on the site) weird smell shared bathroom bathtub with no shower curtain and no walls that was freely standing next to the toilet. Uncomfortable beds slanted floors (I mean REAL slanted) the most hilariously broken clock of all time. Times this clock can tell: 1 c 1. t 3 o. End of list. If I remember correctly, the staff wasn't unpleasant, but they just couldn't make up for all the other things that this had wrong with it. To sum up: backpacking after college approved. Family vacation, think again.

Nice hotel but not worth the £132 a night price tag rooms are so small and we were right at the very top which wasn't much fun with your cases(even though it was only hand luggage)there's no where to put them when you do manage to get up here Hairdryer is provided but no mirror!!! Had to use my I pad to dry my hair The bathroom consists of a big shower area but tiny sink not much room at all Staff were very friendly I have to say haven't had breakfast yet don't know if I can face going down stairs and coming back up again! All in all its clean small and if it was half the price I would recommend it . I'm afraid at this price I can only give it a three star

Very good deal for central London accommodation, no-frills hotel with friendly staff and nice breakfast, an easy walk from the Eurostar at St. Pancras. Recommended if you just need a convenient place to sleep.

Very clean, comfortable, quaint. Close to everything you want to see in London. Helpful staff.
