We arrived after a 9 hour drive to stand in the lobby while the customer service rep dealt with a faulty fire alarm, which I'd hoped wasn't an omen.
The photos were slightly misleading. The room we had was minuscule with two single beds. Luckily it was all we needed, but we couldn't walk around the room at the same time.
Shower was working and had hot water which was fantastic. It was let down by the hairs through it.
After trying to sleep (our room was next to the lift so we heard the arrival of the carriage whenever anyone came and went), i went to have a coffee only to find the kettle already with water in it (god knows how old the water was) and the mugs were filthy.
The good part was the sheets and bed were clean and mostly comfortable. Staff were nice albeit rushed, and the location is central to most things. I think next time we travel to Brisbane, our personal choice would be to try another hotel, but we're snobs haha! If you need somewhere to stay as a layover then yeah, this place will do the job. The restaurant below has okay food which is another bonus.
