Georges Bay Apartments

Clean well kept apartments, with great facilities. A short walk into town with lovely views. We only had one issue we were in room 5 which is next to the laundry which was fairly noisy, if people used the facility late into the night it would be a definite problem.

Just the other side of the river makes it good for a walk to and from into St Helens centre. Room 3 was great as it had kitchenette plus lounge and bedroom. Laundry facilities on-site also.

Studio suite is very small but it was clean and bed was pretty comfortable. There was no manned reception during our stay. There is a separate laundry available, no iron in the room. Code box for the room instead of keys was handy however given the detail in the code I did wonder whether other guests could guess your code. At one time a cleaner peered in through our (glass with venetians) door, hands around eyes right up against the door looking in our room. This was an unwelcome lack of privacy given I was sitting in my pyjamas. Not sure why she did this as it was not our checkout day and they offer no room servicing during stay.

Self-contained apartments not far from everything St Helens has to offer. Apartment was clean and comfortably furnished, with on-site washing facilities. Check-in and check-out process was easy. Parking on site was right outside our apartment door.

The room was very clean, and had a very functional layout. Even though it was a small space, the apartment felt really spacious. The facilities were great, and they even including milo (chocolate powder) packets for the kids who loved that touch. The bunk beds were a bit wobbly and creaky, but not noisy enough to prohibit sleep.

This is our second stay at this accommodation (Harbour View Apartment). We love the front courtyard for our kids to stretch their legs. There's a little playground further down the driveway, good for young kids. Great accommodation for a family - with everything we needed to self-cater. Lovely walk around the Bay easily accessible from the accommodation. The shower head came off while our child was showering, and was unable to be fixed until the handyman was at work the following day. A new part was required, so had to be fixed later in the day. We love this place, and highly recommend. We look forward to our next stay!

Absolutely loved these apartments, fully self contained, keypad entry easy and an excellent concept. Very clean and tidy, huge rooms. |Easy short walk into St Helens, a lovely vibrant town and the magical Binnalong Bay is a 15min drive.|Highly recommended!

Excellent accommodation. Close walk to the Main Street.
