Georgia International Horse Park

I took the kids to this horse park to try something new. I enjoyed it. Some of my kids enjoyed it and some didn’t care for it. They don’t provide horse lessons or horse rides. We saw a free horse show which was cool. But I think the kids and I expected more tricks for the riders and horses since it was a show. It was simply a lot of people in horse riding attire that rode the horse regularly like they were on a trail. No special tricks or anything to showcase actual horse riding talent. I know because I used to ride horse for years as a child. I would hope in the future they do some stunts or tricks to showcase how talented the horses and horseback riders are. Anybody can simply ride a horse if the horse is walking slow. There’s no playground. They do have indoor restrooms though.

Went for the Bill Pickett Rodeo Invitational and a time was had. It was very spacious. The seating is bench seating so a stadium pad/seat you'll want especially if you have a bad back. There were plenty of stalls for food and drinks. The sound system was trash though. Couldn't understand a word being said during the 7pm show. There's plenty of parking and the venue was big enough to hold everyone in attendance.

Beautiful venue, well manicured and clean. We always enjoyed being a vendor for events and especially having lovely bathrooms, clean, neat and working!

We came for the Bill Pickett Rodeo. The horse park is nice. No issues parking. Lots of events are hosted there.

The hike was so peaceful ✌️. Minimum amount of people. Serenity at its finest. Take a picture of the map you can get turned around. Awesome!!

Love going here to run and all the trails they offer. Recently did Muddy Dash and terrain race here and enjoyed the trail we took!

This is a wonderful venue for horse shows! It's some of the best stabling at shows besides WEC. Some of the footing is a bit deep, and might need to be better maintained. My main complaint is the lack of toilets. At the last show I was at, we had only 2 working stalls for about 200 competitors.

First off thru of their own it was HELLISH HOTTTTTTT! The Rodeo was spot on and gave one hecknof a show. We travel state to state to follow Bill Pickett and similar horse shows and the energy levelnis always the same. I hope next year to see there are more vendors present and maybe amechanical bull ( wishful thinking perhaps) If the sponsors are reading this hat would be a great addition during 1/2 time.

My bf and I went here for his coworker's wedding. It was very confusing to find the venue as there is not a sign that indicated that the wedding was taking place (outside at the main road) but as soon as you enter, there was a board sign indicating the wedding was there. They had small arrow signs staked on the side of the road to direct you to the wedding hall. It is a beautiful place, with wide open space but the smell of horse manure fills the air. I'm not sure if I would consider this the best for a wedding since it is outside with the stench. But if you're able to stomach it, then it is quite beautiful

Classic Company has three horse shows a year here. We love the big Olympic Jumper ring, the RV parking and the stalls are amazing. Overall the facility is top notch for a horse show.

Terrain racing. A obstacle course. We had an awesome time. It reminded me of a military obstacle course. If you haven't and your up for a challenge you should try it once. If you volunteer You can race for free, but you have pay for the race first.

I visited the Horse Park to attend a friend's wedding. Though it sounds like a place where only horses, carriages and stables would be found, the locale is (surprisingly) also a nice venue for small occasions! As you enter the Horse Park from the main road, there's a reeeealllly long entrance before actually reaching their facilities. Apparently, there's also a nature park within the vicinity of this place that I'll eventually have to venture back out and find someday. Come visit this place for a moment to get away from it all in ATL. Recommend it to others that may also be looking for a spot for a small gathering/party/wedding/etc.

Went here for a Chili Fest. I liked the location, I liked the parking and I liked the Chili Fest & the fact that they hosted it on their property...

Spartan!!!!!! AROO AROO!!!! A group of friends in mud all trying to finish a race!!! The place is huge so get there early if you're going to do a race or event that's projected to have over 1000 attendees!!!! We had a blast it's crazy how they changed the whole of the course for the race!!!
