Georgian Court Bed and Breakfast

The property has a classic style and the room that I stayed in which had a double sized bed was neat, spacious and was very comfortable. It’s old and ain’t modern at all compared to the ones you typically see in hostels and other B&B, but this place is great for its price and location. The breakfast is wonderful consisting of pancakes, crispy bacon, sausages, baked beans, bread, choice of juice, milk and cereals. This was such a delight considering the price you pay for your stay. Location is very accessible to CBD and transportation ain’t a problem when you want to explore Melbourne. Highly recommended!

My brother came from Tasmania and my sister-in-law and I came up the next day for the Stolen Generation March. I would be totally recommending people to come here because because , wherever Aboriginal and we are very proud and will be passing the word around I personally come from GEELONG and absolutely enjoyed myself. Perfect for us, Thank you, Anthony and family, and all staff. Highlights meeting Anthony and the guests. The BREAKFAST superb, bacon and eggs, and fresh oranges, and the atmosphere, the loungeroom, and the library, were all appreciated and enjoyed. East Melbourne library is across the street from Here, ❤️ quiet street, beautiful gardens and big trees

Lovely hotel, classic historical building close to the city. Lovely staff (Anthony was very helpful and does a great job), amazing service, rooms and delicious freshly made hot meals for breakfast. The beds were also very comfy!

Lovely host who cooks everyone breakfast in the morning and remembers the guests names. Rooms and building are heritage and it all keeps in with the theme so very beautiful and interesting to stay in. Parking out the back for guests is limited but after 10pm the parking on the street is unlimited. Both the building and the rooms lock so you feel secure at night. Close to everything in the city so great location!

The worst experience ever. The dirtiest unkempt rooms. The window wouldn’t close due to plumbing. It was absolutely freezing. The dodgy quilt didn’t even fit on the bed… couldn’t sleep as we thought the ceiling would fall down on us. Shame on Melbourne. Do not book a room as their website is flawed. You are better off staying at a hostel at least you will get toilet paper. Never again.

Called to ask for accommodation, when reception pick up the call first thing he said "what do you want??", then I asked if they have availability for tonight and his answer "we don't have availability on Thursdays" (is sunday right now?) Terrible customer services! Im beyond disappointed with phone customer service i cant imagine how terrible is to stay there!

Trams were close by, the room was absolutely gorgeous, the whole place had a nice old-timey look. I absolutely loved sitting out on the balcony. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked and the staff were absolutely amazing and lovely. The next time I stay down in the city, I absolutely will be coming back to this place! 10/10 best place to stay, 5 stars in every way!
