My wife and I just spent four nights at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed, from start to finish! We were looking for an affordable option in downtown Vancouver, so we could be within walking distance to our son and his fiance, who live in Yaletown. Not only did we feel that this hotel was affordable, but the room was beautiful and comfortable and the location was perfect for us. It is within walking distance to many amazing restaurants, shops and activities. We were just a short three minute walk to where our kids live! The room was fantastic - from the hard clean floors, to a beautiful clean bathroom with a really nice tile shower and in-room coffee and refrigerator. We missed having breakfast included with the room, but....if this helps keep the rates a bit lower, we are good with that. There are so many little coffee shops right nearby, as well as grocery store options, if you want to buy a few light, healthier food options to keep in your room. We will highly recommend this hotel and look forward to future stays when visiting our kids!

First time staying at the Georgian Court Hotel in downtown Vancouver and I must say, it's exceeded my expectations! Special thanks to the super pleasant lady working the front desk, as not only was she genuinely friendly, but she made check-in quick, hassle-free, and efficient. The hotel’s common areas are stunning, likely due to a very recent extensive renovation. My 3d room was spacious, with premium bedding, air-conditioning, mini fridge/bar and ample storage space. Probably the best hotel bathroom I've seen in a very long time with a full size rain shower not to mention being adequately equipped with all of the necessities. Located right in the center of downtown, literally steps to BC Place/Rogers Arena and a 5-10 min walk to the financial district or Yaletown. Surrounded by other hotels/luxury condos and tons of locally owned restaurants, bars/bistros and a brand new Loblaws grocery store. Only "downfall", which I honestly can't blame the hotel for, is that of the hotel's ease of access. Due to the one-way streets, controversial bike lanes and near extinction of paid street parking, pickup/dropoff is unnecessarily stressful. That all said, this hotel offers legendary customer service, gorgeous spaces, and unbeatable comfort for great value. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Vancouver and hats off to management for a job well done.

What an awesome surprise! We were thrilled with every aspect of this Vancouver hotel. Location in city center close to everything and very walkable. Luggage storage was so convenient and staff so helpful in every way. Lovely restaurant. Room was beautiful and immaculate!! Every convenience possible including great coffee maker and blackout curtains. I highly recommend this place to everyone coming to Vancouver...whether for 1 night or many.

We have visited Vancouver many times, as our daughter lives there, so have stayed in several hotels downtown. So far, this is our favourite. You can't beat the location. The hotel is very pretty and nicely furnished; felt classy. We had a spacious suite and it appeared very clean. Service was efficient and friendly. We loved that Frankie's Italian Kitchen and Bar is part of the hotel. We attended an event at Frankie's Jazz Club and the service, food and beverages were great. Would definitely return.

Typical city hotel situated opposite to main sports stadium – no event there during our stay so it was a very quiet location. Central location, so easy to tour the main sights of the city and close to the ferry stops to go to Granville Island (go early to avoid the crowds).||Nice quiet room with good amenities and comfortable bed. The hotel was very busy, so the lift service could be slow, but that’s a minor point.||Didn’t use the dining room facilities as found an excellent café around the corner serving a lovely breakfast bagel.||Nice décor throughout and helpful staff at reception. Good wheelchair access for our friend.

Booked a spontaneous trip into Vancouver to visit family and needed a spot to stay 1 night. We booked and paid online with our debit card but when we got to the hotel and tried to check in they asked for a credit card to put on file. (We didn’t have one with us unfortunately and I knew this would come up so I called before booking and they said they could just do a $300 deposit.). The front desk person gave me attitude when I told them I only had debit and what the person over the phone said regarding deposits. He told be they don’t do that anymore and after a long pause asking if my husband had a credit card and me saying that’s all we have said they would make an exception because someone gave me the wrong info. I felt pretty unwelcome and judged that I didn’t bring my credit card. the room was already paid for and I was willing to give them another $300 for the deposit so I’m not sure why I received any attitude. (To avoid any of this, I did try Airbnb but there were no decent places left when we looked). I won’t be coming back to this hotel because clearly my actual money (that they gave me back because I didn’t damage the room) isn’t as good as money from a credit card. The front desk person in the morning was very nice and when I asked why I was almost turned away last night they said there was new ownership and they changed their policy. I get it they need to cover themselves, but anyone could just go and cancel a credit card or dispute charges…at least taking a debit deposit actually guarantees them money for damages. I should also mention it’s $25/day to park at this hotel…probably smart not to bring a car with you.

Had four nights at The Georgian, room was good, very clean with all the amenities (shampoo etc are excellent!) Can get busy in the lobby but staff are helpful. The attached Frankies as many others have said is very convenient. Eggs Benedict are superb! Great location, I would definitely stay there again.|As others have said, the hall carpet needs replacement, it’s very rucked and a tripping hazard, so they need to sort that very quickly.

The hotel was clean and classy. It was cost effective. The staff were kind and helpful and the location was great. The blackout curtains kept the light out in the morning and the noise level was minimal.
